The 4 Seasons facility was terrific and luxurious. Our room was good size with two bathrooms and was near the Ocean and the pools. The workout facilities were excellent. The Buffet breakfasts included everything you could possibily be looking forward to. The staff was very friendly and attentive, particularly at the various pools. Meal service was adequate.
The on property day trips were disappointing. The 4 Seasons provides virtually nothing. They refer guests to outside vendors which requires you to find a means of transportation to and from, as well as determining which vendors to use. The 4 Seasons capability was barely adequate. The concierge services were very uneven. You would be transferred from one person to another for every trip. Rarely, did the concierges actually pick up, and they don't seem to use voicemail. Getting reservations for Anything was a Giant hassle. They seemed to feel that they were doing you a favor.

everything it’s beautiful
I tried to get a one hour late check out. 1pm instead of noon. As my son was taking a nap. The reason they deny it was because they had a guest
coming to that room. Check in is at 3pm I need one hour for my son to rest so that we could have a good 5 hour flight back. Been a family hotel I wish they could prioritize this type of situation instead of a check in for some vip.

Beautiful resort, great staff, lots of activities, pools and ocean pools , comfortable bed and great they had laundry facilities. Restaurant food was good.
Can only swim in ocean pool as sea to rocky
Not much place to do long walks
Really expensive if compare to what you get on Maldive holiday
Breakfast not included and too far to get to town to eat

North of Kona this resort has contrasting views of black lava rock which is softened by aqua blue seas and green golf courses. From the moment you arrive the service is 5*. Outstanding service from staff from reception/concierge (outstanding)/housekeeping/pool attendants and restaurant staff ! The hotel is managed seamlessly with hardly in glitches.
The room was spacious with outstandingly comfortable mattress and large bathroom and fabulous shower. They try to be as green as possible and we loved that they had filtered cold water to refill our bottles and they provided a free laundry with washing powder (so fabulous when you travelling in a hot climate and need to wash clothes frequently).
There was a good choice of restaurants. We ate once in the town but decided the resort food was better. We did not experience the breakfast but we had coffee's and avo toast at Traders and the sports club.
If you love fitness this hotel offers everything. We mostly walked the golf course cart tracks and over the beach rocks but enjoyed swimming in all the different pools on the resort. The ocean pool is great as the ocean is very rock and its not easy to swim in the sea in this area. There is tennis and very big health club offering all types of exercise.
The hotel was busy with spring break but they seemed to have enough staff to cope with everything and the hotel concierge were very helpful in securing us dinner reservations and we did a day out on a boat for snorkelling and dolphin viewing.
It is a very pricey hotel but they do offer 5* service. Very enjoyable and relaxed 8 nights.
We have been to Maldives ,a private island in Philippines and Thailand and we feel for a comparable price that breakfast could be included in this expensive rate at Four Seasons.
The in room dining was forgettable, not great food , considering that they make great food on the resort
They kept forgetting to replace our cutlery/crockery in the room (minor inconvenience )

The resort is absolutely gorgeous with plenty amenities.
The room was great until we saw roach/water bugs in our room. The staff was accommodating in switching our room, but we’re advised by one staff member to just kill it. I’m on vacation to relax, not to have to deal with water bugs in our living area and bathroom.

amenities
lack of staff training particularly in room service. And rooms lack amenities (hooks in outdoor showers, trash bags in cans for cleanliness, the amenities on bathroom sinks don’t even represent items from Hawaii nor the Pacific Ocean. They are finishes and items from Atlantic Ocean. The outdoor showers are all rundown. Fans should be installed on Lanai’s

Comfort of room, service, food, outside shower, beauty!
No real swimmable beach but they do have an fairly large area to swim cut out from the lava rock!

Felt like family. Ohana.
Valet guys (Jade was rad) were awesome. The welcome lei and necklaces were lovely. The keiki robe and treats for tiny put a huge smile on the face.
Lady at the kids pool was very attentive as was Elijah. Liked watching the ray get fed. Food was great. Room was perfect. Beautiful property. Will definitely come back.
There was miscommunication that the residents beach club restaurant wasn’t serving one day abs we walked through a strange construction path to get there.

Rooms and furnishing
The Japanese/fish restaurant was excellent food. Ambience, needed work.
Rooms and furnishingItalian restaurant, not good…
Television did not have Internet TV, Netflix YouTube. If it had Internet TV, I could stay there longer.

Awesome facility, friendly staff
Room service surprisingly comes at the wrong time like end of the day!
