Wonderful out of the way place to get out of the fray.

Lovely views from any room. Rooms are spacious and had nice room amenities. Liked that it was next to a super restaurant and close to interesting things to see and experience.

The top sheet had a hole in it. My room keys wouldn’t work and had to be reprogrammed when I checked in and then the next morning. Staff was great about addressing.

Disappointed.

Only the location.

There’s no housekeeping, our room has fly and mosquitoes. I had to clean the room because it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for months. I couldn’t take to have a bath because the shower room is dirty. Our door room lock is taped about to fall out.

Boater’s paradise

You stay here for the incredible view and the tranquillity. Hotel is located right on the water. Rooms are larger than most places, including a generous bathroom. King bed (had 4 small pillows) was VERY comfortable. Balcony with Adirondack chairs and plantation shutters in every room. Several homey touches throughout but could use some updates. This was our first time visiting and its truly a hidden gem tucked away. Convenient seafood restaurant & bar, Ruddy Duck, with deck seating right next door (try the seafood flatbread!). Having Perfect weather for a quick getaway was a bonus when it was forecasted to storm. Bikes are available to tour the island. Small town, great for a day or weekend trip. Overall decent value and would come back, especially if theres a great deal in the off season.

The staff attitudes left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was very basic, continental style. For the price it be nice to have some eggs or protein included instead of cheap, carb city (granola bars, waffles, stale banana bread, cheerios and bland coffee)

I love the location and scenery

The cleanliness of my room. There was an old wash rag left behind with a previous guest. Dirt in the silk of the sliding door to balcony

Wonderful location and many interesting sites to visit.

Location is awesome. Staff are friendly and helpful. Many interesting places to visit close by.

Need some minor repairs. light bulbs out, balcony carpet torn, sink stopper missing.

Exceptional

the tv did not work in my room. The receptionist tried to fix it but had to request for maintenance to fix it the next day but no one came. The second night, the receptionist offered to switch our room but we chose to keep the same room and do without tv. She tried to help us.

We will be back one day so we can stay longer and take in all the sights.

The hotel was in a remote area and that was a big plus. The drives are scenic and with the nearby lighthouse and easy drive to St. Mary’s City, college and Point Lookout State Park, it is a winner!

We liked everything! The room and view and price was exceptional. This place is a hidden gem on our trip.

beautiful serene location. unique and worth the trip

wonderful to be between two bodies of water. so tranquil. room was big and comfortable. pretty good breakfast too

not the hotel’s fault but there were no food options anywhere close by on Tuesday. they did find a place for us a ways away. also, hotel is due for a bit of a facelift

Favorite getaway spot

We have been coming here for quick getaways and peace and quiet since 2017. Never had a bad experience. The staff is so personable and always make sure your needs are met. The pier side is our favorite with a perfect view of the sunrise. Watching the birds fish or just enjoying the sound of the waves. Perfect!!!

SLIGHTLY DEPRESSING !

The location . Only THAT !

I paid 515$ for 2 days, for stinky room, it stank like 1000 crabs died and perished in there. Dirty beddings . Uncomfortable old bed , Microwave wasn't working . TV wasnt working . balcony full of spider huge webs and bird droppings . Refrigerator wasn't working normally . no telephone in the room , dusty, and NO INTERNET !!! Its nice location , thats was only reudiminmg thing in whole weekend . NOT GOOD ! ! !

Relaxing. Rejuvenating, overall a good experience. I want to come back.

The location was supreme! The desk staff from check in to check out was personable and informative. Seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, very quiet and relaxing. The AC was phenomenal!!!!👍🏻👍🏻 Direct tv was great!

Adirondack chair on balcony has a broken foot rest. Spider webs everywhere, something like a stalagmite growing in freezer. Stains on couch.

The room size was nice.

The room cleanliness and the balcony was not up to standard. The refrigerator in the room would stay cold due to a bad seal. This was reported. We stayed 4 days.

Superb location.

The location was superb! Front and back had water views. Restaraunt on site was fabulous. And things to do were not far away. We will go back.

Location, price, comfortable,1 very friendly staff member which was very accommodating to our needs, continental breakfast 😋 accommodations, restaurant/bar next door, if you love being near water excellent spot.

The cable wasn't working in room but they were willing to switch our room so everything was good.. There was no garbage cans around the building or in the garage.

Nice place but very secluded with nothing but a restaurant which without reservations your not getting in’

room very spacious and appeared clean.

nobody came to clean room or put more toiletries.
