Disappointing

Location and price

The front desk staff was not exactly rude but completely indifferent to our needs. There were two people at the desk having a clearly personal conversation that they felt the need to complete when I came to the desk to check in. The morning person took it upon herself to try explain how badly the hotel was being run because the breakfast person didn't show up and she had to do her job too. Then when breakfast finally did get served it was not as advertised. It was cold cereal (with no milk they were out) no fresh fruit, no waffles, no donuts. It was a fridge with frozen burritos, watery scrambled eggs sausage and bread. They had bagels with no cream cheese. I asked about the other items and she told me they were out. She also told me they couldn't put more items out because the other water table was broken. They ran our of plate and bowls at the breakfast area and when the person brough more out she commented outload I hope that is enough because I am not sure if we have more. I am not sure if this was referring to the plates or other food items she brought out. With all of this being said I don't want to come across as a complaining guest I genuinely want to help. I am the former General manager of the Wyndham Garden Hotel, GM of a Holiday Inn Express, GM of Full Service Resort, Turn around specialist for a private Hotel company and Vice President of Hospitality programs. I know and understand hotels. This property has a serious culture problem. Either the GM or Owner are indifferent and not focusing on the things that matter. The facilities are tired but no offensive. A focus on training and empowering the staff would be huge. The hotel was clean so the Housekeeping manager is doing their job. Why was there no food for breakfast? Why is there broken equipment out where the guests can see it? Why do multiple staff members feel it appropriate to complain to guests? That is a culture problem.

This was in Butte Mt April 21-22

Our room was directly above the Fitness center, the fan went bonkers in the night and it was extremely loud and vibrated thr entire room. Staff did fix the issue , but when I was checking out I asked if I would receive any sort of refund or compensation for the noise and inconvenience of the fan waking the baby and us not getting much sleep, they said they would call me and I never got a call or email. I think a free night stay would be in order for this issue. Also the pool was way to cold.

Personnel exceeded expectations and the place is great

Desk staff and breakfast staff are very personable. Breakfast choices aplenty. Room clean and bed comfortable. TV channels were very good

The cable in the back of the television needs to be looked at. It wasnt connected when we arrived. When we did a troubleshoot to get it to work, discovered that the cable was not connected. Appears to be broken. Worked after it was connected by us. Reported to front desk upon our check out

Great Place for a Great Stay!

Good option for a short overnight stay.

The front end lady who checked us in was amazing. She went above and beyond and made it an exceptional experience for us.

The breakfast is from 6-9 and we were there before 9 and we were refused as we went to top up plate as the lady who was incharge started packing the breakfast while we were still eating and said in a very rude tone that the breakfast time is over. There was no milk cartons , fruits or yogurt for kids to have. When asked if she has anything in back we were simply told she is aware they are out of it. Just overall experience with breakfast was not greatest. The beds are not actual bed frames the mattress is just placed on top of some sort of metal frame structure which makes loud banging sounds if you accidentally kick it while getting in and out of the bed.

Amazing value and newly renovated

Excellent value. The hotel looks very recently renovated, and was well done. The staff took good care of us. Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, sausage, along with the rest of the "standard" continental breakfast. The mini fridge hap a proper, separate freezer rather than those tiny "in fridge" ones you often see.

The flats are convenient if you're traveling through. If you want to do anything uptown you'll need to drive.

Would stay again

I'd stay here again. Updated rooms; hotel smells clean, not musty. In room fridge and MW. Staff was wonderful. Lighting is good. USB-C stations and 3-prongs either side of the bed. Desk to work at. Comfortable bed. Nice sheets and towels. Parking lot clean (across the street motel had broken glass.)

Rooms are smaller than some but were big enough. There was some highway noise, but that was expected, given the location off the highway. Minimal breakfast selection.

The staff was sweet and courteous. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the hotel was in a great location.

Honestly, everything was great. I think a hottub would be a wonderful addition to your pool amenities.

Für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise waren wir von dem Motel/Hotel(?) sehr angenehm überrascht!

Die Zimmer wirkten neu bzw. frisch renoviert. Die Einrichtung war modern und schick, die Zimmer mit Laminatboden ausgestattet, was uns sehr wichtig ist (es gibt nichts Ekligeres als ein Motelzimmer mit Teppichboden!). Das Personal am Empfangstresen war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war für "amerikanische Motelverhältnisse" sehr gut! Es gab neben Waffeln und den üblichen Angeboten auch Rührei und warme Frikadellen sowie "vernünftigen" Kaffee.

Der Indoor-Pool hätte etwas gepflegter sein können. Das "Drumherum" war etwas lieblos. Hier fehlte etwas Deko und vielleicht ein paar Liegen, um den Raum zu einem Wohlfühlort zu machen. Die Stühle standen wild verteilt rum, es gab frische Handtücher, jedoch hätten die feuchten, benutzten Handtücher mal aus den dafür vorgesehenen Behälter genommen werden sollen, denn es roch nach "nassem Lappen".

Great place to stay and we appreciated the discount given by the hotel

Two king sized beds that were very comfortable. Full breakfast was nice to have over standard cereal meal. Room was very clean and neatly done up. Refrigerator had a small separate freezer.

Everything was good. It was not a suite, but we didn't need or want to pay for a suite.

Excellent Inn as I always make it my stay there while in Butte.

Best rooms I stayed at overall. Lots of room and beds very comfortable. Large TV screen with lots of channels. Breakfast has sausages and scrambled eggs in warming trays (not hard boiled sitting out cold). Apple and Orange Juice Machine available not just a container of OJ sitting out there. Hot coffee and waffles too. Pet friendly rooms!

Not sure if the pool was available for use.

Pleasant

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.

We stayed there 2 years ago when the renovations began and it was horrible. The rooms have improved but it is apparent that their contractors were horrible. The towel rod kept falling and the hanging night stand next to the bed fell off of the wall. It isn't the current staffs fault but for the price they need to really tighten of the facility and pay attention to the small things. Unfortunately we won't stay here again.

Wired metal on bed. Kept banging it as we got into bed.

Breakfast was weird. Sausage links and donuts. No yogurt or eggs. Not that we need a full breakfast, just a weird assortment that really didn’t work for anyone.

Our checkin desk attendant was great. Very personable and helpful. Room was ok.

Breakfast was mostly grab and go or cold eggs. Was told at check in there was a waffle maker/batter....none to be found. We just left and bought breakfast. When booking a hotel with breakfast, we factor that into pur budget. Disappointed to say the least. And couldn't use military discount because we booked online? What? Also under construction with piles of materials EVERYWHERE
