Front desk staff was pleasant.
Room did not have amenities such as dishes or blow dryer (no blow dryer was completely unexpected and very inconvenient). Room was unattractive and uninviting. I will not stay there again.

So I actually did not stay there. I was going to stay there, but they ended up not having a room. They were having room problems and had to switch and move other costumes around, leaving empty rooms w issues vacant. Example, completely cracked bathtubs etc...
When I got there, a desk clerk told me to go to the Comfort Inn, it was cheaper and nicer! I came back, as the Comfort Inn had no availability.
I was told to book online at Booking.com cause booking through Extended Stay was too long and hard. Complying, I made my reservation, only to be told, there's no availability. However, $327.43 was taken from my checking account. (Still fighting for a complete refund)
Calling Extended Stay, trying to get my refund, I asked to speak to the General Manager. SHE WAS THE ABSOLUTE RUDEST WOMAN I HAVE EVER SPOKEN TOO! STRAIGHT HATEFUL! HOW COULD ANYONE ACT AS SHE DID TO A CUSTOMER, THAT DID NOTHING TO HER. I JUST WANTED MY MONEY BACK. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. There was only one kind staff member and that was a lady who used to work at the local IHOP. MAYBE SHE NEEDS TO BE THE GENERAL MANAGER.
We stayed at Extended Stay back in 2017 for several days. We loved it. (Never again!) IN A LOCATION SUCH AS LEXINGTON PARK, MD, WHERE REPUTATIONS ARE ALREADY MARRED, SHOULDN'T ONE STRIVE TO REACH THE MOON?
I WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED HAD I TREATED SOMEONE THAT WAY!
Best Regards-

Very dirty room. Found rotting orange under one bed, mold under the other. There were no chairs for the table in the room. Very small TV (25 inch).
Breakfast was muffins and granola bars and they ran out of muffins.

Location is not too bad
1. They asked everyone’s ID for their file
2. They closed the front desk after 10pm
3. They charge us for shampoo and conditioner.
4. They have no coffee and sugar in the room and the hotel.
5. The staff are not well trained and not friendly.

Honestly, there was really nothing I liked about this hotel. The location was good for visiting my son at St. Mary’s, and the staff member that checked me in was friendly. Otherwise, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Don’t let the pictures of the room fool you. The staff was unbelievably rude, there were a LOT of broken things in my room, the bed was so bad I may as well have slept on the floor, and the toilet paper was like sandpaper.
I’ve been an airline pilot for 20+ yrs, so I’ve stayed at a LOT of crappy hotels, this was one of the worst ever. I arrived at 2pm, there were barely any cars in the lot. I was told no rooms were available, I had to wait til 3pm. I later learned that this hotels policy is to not allow early check in’s or late checkout’s. I sat in my car until my room was ready. Upon checkin, I was read a 5 minute list of rules and restrictions. I felt like I was at a hostel, NOT a hotel. I get to my room, start unpacking, notice that there are zero dishes of any kind actually IN the kitchen, you have to call for a ‘welcome kit’ if you want them. Then I pull the curtain closed and the entire curtain rod fell off onto my head, slicing my scalp open. I call the front desk and was told maintenance wouldn’t get there for 5 more hours, and the fix itself would take at least an hour. The phone was not working properly, so I could barely understand what the staff was saying, and they either didn’t hear me when I said my head was bleeding, or they didn’t care. I told them to not bother with maintenance. I regretted that decision a couple of hours later when it was dark out, and suddenly a massive spotlight turned on, aimed directly in my room. The bed was so uncomfortable and hard, that after laying down for less than 6 hours, my entire body hurt. After little sleep, I called the front desk at 4:15am asking for a late checkout and was told that only the manager could approve this, to call back at 7:10am. I called at 7:07am, the manager VERY rudely told me that ‘many people’ had already asked for one, and I couldn’t have one. She hung up on me before I got a word out. This is when I called downstairs (on my own phone because the hotel phone was now completely broken!)…at this point I called back and went OFF. No sleep, pain everywhere, she finally gave me an extra hour. She was very rude at checkout, rolling her eyes at me when I told her what was broken. Never again!!!
