The bed wasn't bad.
The location was close to the Palmer Special Events Center.
A long list.
The price seemed okay, but it was too high for what it was.
The floors were sticky. Afraid to not wear shoes.
The room smelled like a gym.
The counter tops were dirty.
The ac was noisy.
There weren't any utensils, plates, or cups, which made the kitchen useless.
Homeless people all around and camped behind the building.
Gang graffiti inside the hotel.
There was a community court next to the hotel.
Halls and stairs were being rebuilt.
Card readers didn't work on some outside doors.
"Breakfast" was a total joke. Old granola bars and coffee, but the coffee pot was empty.
My wife refused to take a shower after she found an old toenail on the floor in the bathroom.
I certainly didn't score any points with my wife...

Oueit, clean, and an inviting atmosphere

The room for a single was extremely spacious and had great amenities. I chose this place for it's proximity to Town Lake where the 4th of July fireworks were going to be, and for how close it was to downtown. I did not partake in the breakfast offered because I was more about going out and about for my meals.

Staff and location
Bathroom needs updating and the price is high for this type of hotel. You pay for the location.

Staff were nice.
The rooms have little animals roaming around, and it is not cleaned under the bed.

Location was great!
We came in late from business dinner and our key would not open the front door. There was no one was at the checkin desk so we had to way. There was a homeless guy hanging right out side the door waiting, looking in the trash. We didn’t feel safe!
3.3
Location was close to my event at the Palmer Event Center.
Roaches. They had roaches. Not water bugs. Not cockroaches, but the small kind when your place is dirty roaches! And getting toilet paper from them was a hassle for some reason.

Comfortable two-star room with kitchenette, full-size refrigerator. Great location to walk across river to downtown Austin. Safe and adequate, excellent value for this central location. Free parking.
Desk is only semi-staffed. Hotel not quite in disrepair, but sliding downward. There are fancier places, but this can meet the needs for a lot less money.

Everything..
There was the smell of strong odor of marijuana inside the building throughout the night.

I did not like anything about this place. However , the location was very close to downtown.
The staff were extremely rude. When I asked about the complimentary breakfast the front desk woman started to gossip and berate my wife in me in Spanish, not knowing I’m a fluent Spanish speaker. But rather than stoop to her level we just left the hotel and got breakfast nearby.
My wife wanted to complain to the manager but I encouraged her not to. Life is too short.

friendly helpful staff
cooktop was a bit run down

The room had roaches and was smelly. I let the staff know that someone was smoking weed in one of the rooms and it was coming into my room.
The condition of the room, weed smoke, roaches and no secured wifi.

I enjoyed the central location within walking distance to the city center, and right next to a bus stop with service to the airport. The room was very big with a fridge, a microwave, a stove and an iron with an ironing board. The staff was quite welcoming.
The room had a funny smell which did not resolve when opening the window. The A/C was too loud (but effective). The pull valve in the shower only went half-way so the flow to the shower wasn't very strong.
