While it was cheap, was really dissatisfied with the basic services.

Location and access to breakfast room earlier than 6am

Stayed 9 nights and didn’t get room service once. I had to ask for towels and toilet paper from the front desk. I vacuumed the room too. Asked 3 times for room service with no follow through. Bedding was average with no duvet so marginally warm. Breakfast options were average with only 2 high sugar cereal options available. No napkins in the kitchen area.

Stay at your own risk!

1) in the online note section, I asked for 1st floor handicap room. System assigned me to 3rd floor with no elevator. Clerk stated the system is messed up and there were no ground floor rooms available. When I got there, told them I couldn't do steps because I was jandicap, the afternoon clerk called someone and found room 113 on first floor was open. (Later in evening found toilet was plugged up and there was no openings on the first floor. It drained, but very slowly... no maint. on site.) 2) the next morning, after a short walk to retrieve my car from a safe parking spot 3 blocks away, I went back for breakfast before checking out. I took the food back to my room to eat it. I sat in an office chair in the room by the table. When I leaned a little, it tipped over tossing me onto the floor. I now have a badly sprained rt. ankle and a very sore tail bone from hitting the floor. When I asked for a paper accident report form to fill out, the clerk said they didn't have one, and called the owner so I talk to him on the phone. The owner became very aggressive and said he would call the cops 'for me' so it could be handled and that it was at rolling chair, indicating it was my fault, not theirs. I could see this way going no where, and checked out. I am now out over $60.00 in an ankle brace, ice pack, and Aspercream. And 8 hrs later can still barely walk. 3) when walking into the check in counter I observed several street people messing with a car in the parking lot, and another group of men playing loud vehicle music and partying. (I had made the mistake of paying ahead or I would not of stayed there.) I ended up parking my car 2 blocks away at a safe location as I did not feel it would remain safe on the motel property over night. I do not recommend this place...primary because of the way the owner treated me after the accident. Please do not pay ahead so you can see 'feel' what you are getting into. before buying.

As expected.

Staff was friendly and happy to see us.

We were an hour early for our check in of 4:00. One of two rooms rented was not ready. Staff switched us to a new room., so no big deal. Room was prepaid. Got notices on my phone that I was billed again upon arrival. Staff noticed the double billing and refunded right away. But, they did not tell me and I spend a half hour in the morning with the morning staff looking into it.

Room was clean and good size. Microwave and mini fridge.

Mattress on one bed needs to be changed, you could feel the springs on your back. A/C wasn't cooling properly. I hated the smell/scent of the building; not sure if it's the cleaning products or just some sort of "air freshener".

That stay sucked.

The first day we were there, we had no waffle maker because it was broken. The next day we were not able to have a specific cereal because they were out.

We found a bedbug in our room, so we spent the whole evening, bagging our stuff and putting it in our car.

Booked at the last minute, wish I had spent more time researching and stayed somewhere else.

Clean sheets, towels.

Old deteriorating facility. Sloppy paint job. Way overdue for new professional painting Hasty, ugly patch-ups of walls and other hasty repairs. Fake hardwood flooring felt like walking on cardboard boxes. Dirty stained furniture. Dirty stained refrigerator. Breakfast appeared to consist of waffles and nothing else. Half of the appliances were broken or out of order. Dirty deteriorating parking lot. Dog poop a few feet from the main door.

Loud and squeaky!

The location in Cortez is good.

However, if you stay on the first floor in the back of the building be prepared to endure a long night if your upstairs neighbors walk around in their rooms. At 4AM neighbors began preparing for the day and did not stop. The building construction is so obviously poor it sounded like pigs squealing with every step. I exaggerate not. Not an acceptable condition for a hotel.

Not a pleasant stay.

I liked that it had beds and a heater. Check in- check out was fast. Close to restaurants and shops.

I was greeted by a lady that looked like she was lost… but she was nice. The entire building was musty and smelled of weed. It was really cold and the hall windows were open. There was a 1 1/2 in gap opening between the heater snd the wall, I could see outside through it. The window would not lock and had no screen on it, not safe. There was a shirt hanging from the curtains and sock under the bed. Bed wasn’t comfortable or the pillows): the only good thing about breakfast was the cereal.. cleanliness was not it’s best.

All in all, the stay was fine.

Room was good, it was the 2nd year in a row at the same time of the year that we stayed there. We did notice the next morning that the smoke detector in the room was covered with a clear plastic wrapping, such as maybe an ice bag? Not sure if previous people that stayed in that room covered it so as to be able to smoke in the room or not. We left too early the next morning to bring it to the attention of the front desk staff. Ice machine was broken, which was a bit of a bummer, but certainly nothing that ruined our stay.

I stayed up most of night trying to put up with the situation.

Staff did as much as they can to accommodate the customers.

Room 122: The room was non-smoking but the room smelled so bad like smoke. The bed next to the entrance is broken and bed was not even. The coffee make where the coffee grinds holds was missing. Room needs thorough cleaning and aired out. No one at reception desk to great. Short staffed.
