The breakfast was the only thing ok about this hotel because the kitchen lady was so wonderful the food was not very tasty but she made it welcoming Nothing went well at all here I left very upset and disappointed and still my problems weren't resolved no one ask me anything no one apologize no one bother to call nothing I will never go back here.
When I got to the hotel they were remodeling so debris everywhere most of the rooms where being remodeled they gave me a room there was a dog next door barking out of control the room door could not close then I was moved from room 225 to 240 I had to take the pillow cases from those pillows to bring to room 240 where I was moved to what an inconvenience, the toilet clogged blanket dirty I used my own. There was no parking due to the construction the big dumpsters with garbage so we had to park behind the gas station no light so park at your own risk. The second day my card was deactivated I couldn't get in my room until I can find guest services my kids complaining the heat outside and need to use the restroom imagine. The day before the last day I checked may online banking and notice 5 charges from the hotel and no one could tell me why and what's going on this was the worst experience I ever had. Also the pool wasn't clean ewww.

There is not a lot to like about the Comfort Suites in August 23. they were still renovating . The whole complex seemed run down. The breakfast never gets refreshed. The only good thing about it is the friendly and helpful staff.
We had two rooms, one was renovated the other one was not. Both were dirty, the sink in the renovated room was already ist and full of gunk and grime. There was hair all over the floor. The fridge was filled with food from the ones before us, the room aunt clean when we arrived. The other room was even worse. The carpet had unspeakable stains on it, the lights didn’t work and the sliding door in the room fell out. The shower was leaking. It was really not a good experiment nice even for the price.

There was nothing to like about this property.
The property is “under construction”. In this case it means that there are few spaces that are not impacted by construction debris and renovation trash. The room we checked into was filthy - stains throughout and layers of dust. The front desk staff was very pleasant and understanding. They waited for us to find a new hotel and then refunded us. Hopefully when all the renovations are completed the property will be as lovely as the staff.

it was a convenient place that was near every destination I needed to be & close to the interstate. the lady in the front was nice when we went to get breakfast. My kids like the breakfast.
I booked a double queen bed and when I got there they said they tried to call me to tell me they didn’t have any available. I never got any calls. she asked me if I wanted a king size bed instead. I settle for less Bc I didn’t wanna look for another hotel due to time, I needed to settle in for what I had plans for because I had only 2-3 days to do what I had to do. I had 2 kids with me and my sister. they gave us a room on a 3rd story. my 4 year old was scared of heights. it was far and we were alone and no body near us. all the rooms was still constructing. the construction wasn’t a big problem. but being the only room there was a bit scary. Our room had bugs and roaches. gnats kept flying on our food. the bed was not a king. the elevator near my room was broke. it was a struggle to come and leave the hotel.

I liked the quiet sectioned off area
all the remodeling but then again I liked that too because it made it more quiet

good location however there was a lot of issues. they had an issue with me booking and paying in advance through a third-party because it did not show up in their system, even though I have my receipt and the confirmation number that was provided to me. as they continued until the day we checked out attempted to charge my credit card $272 and waking me up out of my sleep early in the morning to ask me about it.
The room we had was OK but they are all under renovation so hopefully on June 1 when the new ones are available, they will continue to work on the other rooms. My room had the fire alarm hanging from the ceiling there were stains everywhere so I did have to go in cleaning my room before I can actually relax.

The first night was pretty good.
Everything else. They did not mention that the ENTIRE property was under construction. The ac in our room went out after night 1 and we were moved to 2 other rooms after that with the same issue. The rooms did not go below 80 and we had an infant. They did refund us our money due to us having to find another hotel. The breakfast that was also supposed to be included, well... there wasn't much to it. Not even plates :). The beds weren't the best either.
Even though it stated that the website said it was "fully renovated", they were clearly under renovations.

There was nothing to like. When I got to the hotel after 10:30pm. They let me know that they had sent my reservation somewhere else. I wasn't informed about this. I got a cab from New Orleans to the hotel . I had to get another cab to search for this hotel that they sent my reservation to.
I liked nothing.

The hospitality shown when coming to the door.
After staying next door last year at the Hyatt I encountered cockroaches. I did not see one of these in A week of my stay at this Comfort Suitte
It was A 1/4 mile further away from Jimmy Swaggart ministries to walk to service every day .

It was near by to the places that we wanted.
It was under renovation. They could have mentioned that on the website. There was no lights in the bathrooms, we didn't have any pillows, they was no towels, the phone in the room wasn't working we have to go down stairs for pillows and towels. The air conditioning wasn't working. It was extremely hot that the kids couldn't sleep.

Close to Jimmy Swaggart Ministry
Had to switch rooms because of wet carpet. Door wouldn't lock from the outside . Coffee pot empty when we went down for breakfast so we went to Waffle House . Both my credit card and debit card was charged , waiting for one to be refunded.

The manager at the new hotel was very nice, he had to move us one and when the room we got moved had issue had gave us a discount
We ended up having to be sent to another hotel in an area we didn't want to stay in. Also I ended up paying for both hotel rooms

Not enough selection of choices to make for breakfast the setup was very nice inside the breakfast room
More food and more selection to choose from
3.5 / 5.0
Breakfast was good. By 8am they didn't restock anything so there were limited things to choose from, so if you're not an early riser you'll get whatever is left over. Room was clean. Easy to get to food and things.
TV service didn't work the next morning. Construction workers started hammering at 7am. We are moving and driving across country so we wanted to sleep until 8.

Breakfast was awful. there was one dish of scrambled eggs and some cut up sausage. no bread for toast or bagels. no waffle batter. We finally took a container of yogurt to go. I would give it no stars if I could.
freezing. couldn't get thermostat above 69. Room was worn and stained.
