I will NEVER stay in a EconoLodge hotel again and I plan to tell everyone about the filth.
The only good thing I can say about that hotel other than we managed to live through that entire night of complete nastiness was that the hot water in the shower was actually hot, and that we actually escaped that hole with our lives. THAT is the only good thing anyone can ever say about this place.
The clerk ignored me for several minutes upon my arrival when she wasn't waiting on anyone. She appeared to be reading a newspaper. She asked me if I had a room preference... upstairs or downstairs. When I said "downstairs", she then said there were no downstairs rooms available. Got to the room and the door would not open After several tries, we finally had to push the door open with force using an arm and shoulder. Also there was no coffee maker in the room, even though the website says there are coffee makers. We called the lobby and someone said she would have someone bring one up. We waited 30 minutes and when they never showed up, we went downstairs to speak to the clerk who told us that there are no coffee makers in any of the rooms, even though there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room, and even though the website says there are coffee makers in the rooms. The sheets on the beds were dirty and wrinkled, and so were the blankets on both of the beds. The beds were very hard, and the made a sound each time you even moved on them, as if they were going to break. The bathtub was the most disgusting site I had ever seen... beyond nasty. The floor in the bathroom filthy... dirt and mud all over. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower that leaked some sort of roofing material. The walls were so thin that I was awaked at 5:00 a.m. by some laughing kids that sounded as if they were not next door but several doors down. I have never in my life seen a hotel as nasty and filthy as this one. I wish I had taken pictures or a video. The service was horrible. The room was filthy. Oh, and the towels and wash cloths were dingy white and did not smell clean.

I waited 2hours in the lobby to check in and then I was told they would not give me and my 7 year old daughter a room because there electric went out for 5 min and then cam back on the told me that some one would call me to send me to another motel and this never happened we had to sleep in a parking lot however other guests were staying in the hotel with no problem.

Bad
Nothing
The elevator dropped a floor and was screeching, evening front desk staff was rude, I was overcharged for my room, bed sheets weren't clean, jewelry from previous person left behind. The floor had mold in one room and the wall was crumbling at the floor in the other room.
