I did not like anything about this hotel at all it was so substandard the room was unkept the bathroom was full of mold there was a stuffy stale odor the bathroom sink was coming off the wall I have DEMANDED a full refund. I would not recommend this property to no one THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED
I didn’t like anything , I chose this location ONLY because it was close to my family who was residing in eagle river at an ABNB

Broken toaster.
Would like to see creamer selection.
Various rooms have defects that I don't feel have been addressed
This last room had back spray off the shower head.
To where the wall was worn and decayed.
Almost through the sheetrock.

Great price for what we got.
Definitely could pay more attention to detail cleaning (bathrooms) and could probably charge more.

Close to our doctors office.
The bathroom appeared to be clean.
The room they put us in was not clean, except for the linens and the bathroom. The floor had been vacuumed but there was old food in the corners.
There was a half empty half gallon of milk on the window sill.
The window seat pad was dirty and stained. The room needed a coat of paint and some basic maintenance.
The curtains had seen better days and were not hanging properly.

Sofa sleeper was very uncomfortable. Not enough linens and towels for the 4 guests booked. Bathroom was not well cleaned

We didn’t eat breakfast.
The room was tiny for the price.

Location is close to a park and our sons apartment.
We stayed 1 night then went to Seward, then came back for 1 night here. See previous review of our first night. Our return here was a joke. We were just opening the door when the desk clerk ran up and said the room had not been cleaned yet. Keep in mind, check in was 3pm and we did not arrive until 8pm, and it only JUST occurred to them that it had not been cleaned! We had to sit for 45 minutes while it was cleaned. Our other room was stuffy and smelled like it was once a smoking room. They really do need a better air system. Shower heads are extra low flow. There is no mini fridge in any room, no coffee makers. It is bare bones place that is overpriced for what they offer., oh, and the restroom on first floor by check in is closed, not working.

Location
Rooms were hot, smelly. 1 of our 2 rooms had unflushed toilet full of poop, hair in the tub & sink.
I tried several times to call them to let them know we were needing a late arrival and calls would not go through. We thought we were getting both rooms at least on same floor, they were not. Breakfast, the waffles & pancakes were frozen. No cream for coffee, no fruit. No air conditioner in the rooms, only box fans to put in the windows, but the cords were too short.

Sink loose from wall

Comfortable bed, fairly spacious room and large bathroom. Price was excellent considering the prices in Anchorage and Palmer. Staff polite and check in process was very easy and quick.
A lot of traffic noise - I was on the top floor and the glazing on the windows wasn't great. Parking was tight - it doesn't seem like much parking for the size of the hotel.
The security lock on my door didn't work which made me feel slightly uncomfortable travelling as a single female.
No tea/coffee facilities in room.

Ok
It is the only hotel. N/A. In AK you can either rent a trophy home, a stodgy downtown upscale place, or stay in a meth head marijuana hell hole. This question is not applicable

I look forward to the continental breakfast and meeting people from all walks of life and the friendly greetings of staff and visitors.

I always enjoy the continental breakfast and guests of all ages gathered. I especially appreciated that the fire was going in the fireplace on a cold day when I walked in and was recovering from the flu which was good timing. Like many people in Alaska this winter, I was weary of the weather and the hospitality of the "Suisse" was greatly appreciated as she made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest.

No extra frills or luxury amenities here, but it has everything you need. Location is away from the hustle-bustle of downtown, but close enough if you want to go there for a visit. It’s in a safe area and the linens are fresh and clean! Great value for the price, I’m definitely staying here the next time I come up for a visit!
Got stuck trying to drive into the parking area, but this was equivalent to some of the other side roads in town. Breakfast was included, but limited to bagels and cereal. It would be nice if there were some protein or fruit options, too

location- close to what we were doing the next day
lady was rude, I understand what she was saying to me considering the situation I was in but could have handled it a better way. Linens were dirty, poop in toilet, sink ripped off wall. Better not get charged for that.

They gave me keys to someone else's room

Great for basic overnight accommodation. Price in middle of January is probably impossible to beat in the Anchorage area.

I was over booked twice for week I called super saver they refused to refund over booking on one week my bank then got involved the assistant mgr said I shouldn't go to bank ? She was out of line . But it is fine I got all $800 of my money back I did not really want to stay there after I counter with assistant mgr. Got another hotel this hotel is great.
