Good location and great staff. The property is beautiful as well - very 1920s feel.
The beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. They were so soft, and we sunk so deeply into them, that it was practically difficult to get out of. On top of that, the pillows kept my head raised so high that my back and neck were sore for days after. The beds honestly felt like a bad joke. For almost 500$ a night - not worth it.

It's a nice hotel and it was clean a little noisy, you could hear the noise from the street even though we were seven floors up.
The valet forgot to give me a ticket and they had issues finding my car when I was ready to leave. They need to streamline this piece of business better. They also charge $49 for day parking which I thought was quite high.

Service was incredible from the valet to the restaurant and the front desk staff! They really make you feel cared for. Came for my boyfriends birthday and they gave us upgrades and a gift card for food/drinks. Just a wonderful place to stay for special occasions or even a staycation!
Not much! There were flies in the lobby but it’s Sacramento and that’s not something that’s that controllable. Also at night can be a little sketchy in the area but that’s certainly not the hotel’s fault by any means. We will definitely stay again!

Well designed, with some great features. The Grange restaurant offers fantastic food and drinks too. The building still has lots of the original features too!
No complaints

The charm of this historical building turned boutique hotel. Also, valet parking

The historical building is beatiful and I would have liked yo learn more about its history.
Unsheltered people is also an issue in Sacramento downtown but this is neither an issue that the hotel can fix nor a security concern during our stay. However, I would like to have complementary breakfast compared to the price that I paid for one night stay.

Th location is awful, very unsafe place to stay. We paid $200 for one night and they wanted $50 to park our car in their garage. Very small room. I guess it would be good for a work trip but definitely not a romantic trip.

beautiful bathroom in room.
Had my credit card charged twice. Left shoes in room and didn't get them returned when I called for them. No record of them being left from housekeeping. Unsettling part of town, rundown buidlings, vacant and high homelessness. Expensive parking, $40/nite, that was not covered in high room costs. Confusing info on website - showed parking was free and pet friendly, restraunt was stated as closed, even though it was open.

It was clean and calm. Loved the location and staff.
When I checked out, they charged me 100 dollars over the actual bill. I asked for an explanation but did not hear an answer

It was a beautiful old building I loved all the quotes on the elevator walls! Very nice place to stay
The area it located is not so great but the hotel staff make up for that!

The welcome from the staff was incredible. They were so kind and friendly and treated us like royalty! Cannot say enough good things about them. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a lovely big bathroom. Shower was wonderful - hot, hot water with lots of pressure. The gym was quite large and well kitted out. Also, the location was brilliant within an easy walk of the Old Town and Downtown Sacramento.
I wish they had double glazing just to keep out the noise from the street below. On a Saturday night, the movies in the park can be heard which is a bit of a problem. Thankfully it didn’t go on too late.

Looked nice
3rd floor need better soundproofing for windows. Had party in the park ended at 9:30 pm very noisy, and you could hear cars drive bye. When you turn the shower on it get with COLD water that hits you. Need better way to tuen on without getting wet until it heats up.
