This hotel is really convenient in downtown Sacramento. The front desk employee gave us a cookie when we checked in. The inside of the hotel is a bit unique since it’s a converted apartment complex with the center courtyard entirely enclosed. The second floor above the parking garage is lounge with coffee and nice plants. The rooms are all facing the interior lounge area and are well-equipped for a comfortable stay.
There’s not much to complain about, it’s quite comfortable without being a fancy hotel. The parking situation is very limited, so you might need to park on the street right outside the hotel but we found a spot easily.

Great location; walkable to old town, downtown and midtown.
We’ve been staying here for the last six years and it’s disappointing to see the prices continue to increase while the amenities decrease. Daily parking rate has gone from $12 to $15 to $18 in the last two years. We are considering alternative lodging for our visits to Sacramento.

We selected this hotel for our stay while attending an anime convention at the convention center. The main draw was the price - it was significantly cheaper than surrounding options. Despite this, the accommodations were wonderful! The rooms are a bit cramped but have everything you could want: good wi-fi, great AC unit, windows that open to let in a breeze, wide selection of good quality toiletries, very clean, relaxing atrium area with free coffee and microwave, refrigerator in the room, etc. I could go on, but we wanted for nothing. Very comfortable and pleasant stay.
A free breakfast would have been nice, but there are many restaurants nearby. The parking garage is hotly contested. We managed to steal a parking space, but unlucky guests will need to park at a meter or in a garage. However, the hotel will waive the $15 parking fee if that happens.

Good location, close to the Capitol and park. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Staff were super friendly, happy to answer our questions re places to see and visit, and seemed genuinely interested in how our stay was going.

Past visits we’ve liked this hotel, but it’s fraying around the edges a bit. Location is excellent if you want to be near capitol and also lots of dining options. It’s a quieter street so pleasant to walk and feels “safe”. There can be a rowdy “beer bikes” tour on weekend nights passing by but otherwise quiet. The staff is amazing.. each time we’ve stayed here staff has been great.
We needed 2 beds and they didn’t have availability for all 3 nights in 2 queen/double
so nights 2 & 3were in a room next to laundry with pull out couch- but spacing so tight if couch pulled out that person couldn’t get to the bathroom or get to front door. There was no full length mirror in room. Felt sparse. The windows open to space between buildings and we listened to someone vomiting & coughing for hours both nights. Not sure if that was homeless person or another room. Listings all over the web said breakfast included but all they had was coffee & hot water options. That was true when we stayed during Covid, but price was less to compensate. Past visits we’ve liked this hotel & the location, but the hefty price tag & paying for parking, doesn’t seem worth it compared to other options.

The location, the staff, the toiletries provided
On our last stay, there was not enough amps and it caused both my phone & tablet to not charge and completely shut down. A little paranoid to bring a charger when I stay here.

The location ! It was in walking distance to the event we were attending.
The bed was uncomfortable & very small, my husband's feet hung over the end. The price was high enough that parking should have been included.

The Inn Off Capitol Park is absolutely charming. A motel converted to an Inn, we loved the central lobby and the interior facing rooms with blinds. The rooms were comfortably appointed.
Nothing.
