Cheap price decent room

Location was perfect room was small but suited our needs.

Stains on wall and ac surface needed to be cleaned. Hot water ran out super fast.

Muy bueno .

La ubicación excelente y el trato del personal muy serviciales.

Las duchas deberían blanquear un poco más. Y los filtros de aire acondicionado lavarse de vez en cuando . El de mi habitación lo lave y estaba muy sucio.

UNBEATABLE LOCATION (14th & Seawall Blvd.) FRIENDLY STAFF!!

LOCATION!!! At about 14th & Seawall Blvd. this is the PERFECT MODERATELY PRICED hotel !! COMFY BEDS, great SEA VIEWS, HOT WATER & A.C.

(really not much of a Breakfast. A sweet roll and a COFFEE only) Hop in ur car and drive down the Beach for a BETTER BREAKFAST.

Decent for the price

Location was good, room was okay. It did look a little bit worn but it was clean and the bed was decent. Everyone is trying to weather the financial storm and I am sure the hotel industry is no different.

Never again

The room was small and muggy. 3 different people at 3 different times, banged on our room door extremely loud at 2 am looking for someone else. It was pretty scary. Never again will I stay at here.

Nice location not the best room for money paid

Location was nice

Room was small , tv was damaged, Room did not feel clean and water in shower would not stay hot. 100 dollar misc fee added that was not informed about on 3rd party site.

Good value for you money

The breakfast consisted of one miniature cinnamon roll and a coffee. No other choices

Continental breakfast could have a few more choices such as toast or cereal.

Great value for a million dollar view!! ❤️🏖️🌴

It was fresh, great view of the Gulf, very nice staff and I felt very comfortable being there.

Nothing really but there was a small tile piece missing from the shower trim. Other than that it was excellent and I’m picky!!❤️🏖️🌴

Got what I paid for I guess.

Location on sea wall Blvd. AC was nice and cold.

Musty smell in room, water damage, possible mold. Noisy cleaning staff playing loud music and cackling like chickens right outside of room.

Very good

The location is fantastic! Within walking distance of Murdoch's, Pleasure Pier and multiple restaurants. And directly across from a beach access on the Seawall. It is an older motel but has been updated and though the rooms are on the small side, they are clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our overnight stay.

The parking lot is small but wasn't crowded when we were there.

Was a good stay.. just hiding fees

The area and the rooms was clean and convenient to the beach..

I booked with booking.com which was cheaper than the price they quoted me on the phone, no mention of a deposit either and once we got there not being allowed to get into our room until 3:00pm and they popped a 100$ deposit on us out of the blue... I'm just glad I had the extra to let them hold..

I bet it’s a great place-I’ll never know

I did not like. My mother-in-law had a stroke two days before we were to go to this hotel. We were so excited to go and stay here. I emailed bec so much was going on, explained the situation, never heard a peep but sorry you didn’t show so no money back. Period.

loved the easy access to the beach.

everything about the shower leaves a lot to be desired. shower head was like being in an old RV and the water pressure was not even strong enough to wash the dirt down the drain. I had to use the ice bucket to get the dirt to go down the drain.

Overall it was a good trip and loved staying but didn’t felt welcomed

I loved the location and the view

The staff to check in and out was not friendly and when our key didn’t work and my son went to ask, it seemed like an inconvenience that we were bothering. Housekeeping came in and took the trash out of the trash can but left it in the room.

the lady at the front desk was really demotivated! she didn’t say to us anything about the service(parking, breakfast) . we lost the breakfast and she didn’t say anything about the extra parking in the back (when we arrive in the night ,the front parking lot was full and we didn’t have any idea there was another one in the back, we just found it by ourselves)

The Galveston County Health District should be alerted of this disgusting property.

The location on the Seawall is fantastic with a wonderful sea view.

The staff was grumpy when checking me in. I entered the first room and it wreaked of cigarette smoke and ashes all around the tables, phones, lamps. The phone in the room did not work so I was unable to call the unfriendly woman at the front desk to alert her of the room condition. I walked back to the front desk, informed the clerk of the room condition, and she tried to call cleaning staff before assigning me to another room. I went to second room and thankfully there was not cigarette smoke, so I proceeded to shower... only to find pubic hair all over the "clean" bathroom surfaces (toilet, shower, sink, counter). Every single "clean towel" in the room was laced with dark pubic hairs, like they were washed into the towels together, and even the cleaning staff potentially uses these same clean towels to wipe down the counters. Because it was disgusting. It was clear the surfaces have been wiped down, but they were wiped down with dirty, hairy towels, leaving hairs on every surface. I returned to the front desk, waited until another guest left as to not freak them out, and quietly informed the unfriendly check in clerk about the disgusting bathroom and towel situation. She did not act surprised or horiffied about what I told her. She would not make eye contact with me, apologize to me or even acknowledge the condition of the two rooms. I gave her the room keys and left. I did not have high expectations for this property, but I certainly expected a cleaner room and a more reasonable staff member to acknowledge the disgusting, health board level issues a guest found. The Galveston County Health District should be alerted of this property.

cheapest on the beach...be ready - Get what you pay for !

Cons of the room: dry wall repair being performed dry wall not painted stained flooring mold/staining of shower pan multi damage to various walls foul odor in room when a/c in use table leg balanced with cardboard

Room OK if you didn't need to breath.

Comfortable bed. WiFi worked OK.

The smell. No matter what I used to make it smell better nothing worked. The wall heater was part of the problem. When it came on the smell just got worse. The air filters were filthy and needed to be replaced. Also the floors were filthy as well. Not sure if they mop when they clean. The shower floor was also filthy nearly black. Stains like blood on the bathroom wall. I am sure all this filth contributed to the horrible smell. I had a lot more pictures but Booking.com did not give me the freedom to post them all.
