Niet veel, het bed zelf viel nog mee.
Slecht gepoetst, enorm horig. En verschrikkelijk ontbijt, je kan dit geen ontbijt noemen helaas. Astoria zelf is ook niet fijn

Cute retro themed motel. We loved the friendly staff and how nice it was for the overall price. If your looking for a hidden gem you definitely need to check this place out. Would definitely stay here again
Just needed a better scrubbing and it would of been perfect

Comfy, good location, stylish, clean.
Better lighting in the main area, hard to read things without moving to the bathroom area.

I've always loved this hotel and enjoyed my stays. I'd give a 100 % 5 star rating everything's always wonderful

Second times a charm

Stylish comfortable simple motel. The breakfast is basic but the essentials are there (some fruit, coffee. instant oatmeal and some pastries). Everything is basic but in consistent fun 50s style, everything is clean and in working order. The motel is adjacent to Pig & Pancake so if you want a substantial simple meal that's an option and you do not even need to drive. Downtown Astoria offers lots of options but that's a short drive or 10-15 min walk away.
The breakfast could start earlier: 9am is for very late risers IMHO. Soundproofing could be better but given the price it's ok.

I slept well I
I wish they had air conditioning.
Need new toilet seat in room 101.

Remote for tv didn’t do anything except for switch inputs. One channel.

This is a very funky place. The decor was very cool. They certainly put a lot of effort into it. The location is very busy but they have put in really good windows and you couldn't hear the traffic. There was a fan in the room which was good.
The bed was really uncomfortable ..... the flooring wasn't very clean. The linoleum was dirty and some stains on the carpet. They shouldn't describe in as breakfast included .... it was minimal. The place needs new electrical system .... there are a lot of extension cords.

Unfortunately I was on the upper corner level, my choice, above ALL the smoker's. And there were many. Including a cigar smoker. Why can't you make the facility non-smoking? Cigarettes butts outside doors was awful. My asthma prevented me from staying longer than 1 night.
Smoking, everywhere. I had to walk my little dog down the street to pee. Why not smokers off the property! People who smoke and have no regard for others were your guest. I would then return and refer. Thank you for asking.

location, cleanliness, easy check in/out, equipped. next door to fine breakfast restaurant.
a few things did not work, table side clock for example.

We grabbed an orange in the morning. There was a selection of items though. We ate next door at the Pancake pig. The room was cute. I like the decor.
The soap was sticky. Most hotel soap is harsh so that’s not really a them problem. There was a couple of electrical out let’s that did not work. Which caused us to not be able to change a couple of devices/ cellphone and camera.

Nice little motel

Cute quirky hotel. Loved the fun decor. The staff was super friendly and check in was the easiest I have ever experienced. I like that the rooms have coded keypads rather than key cards to keep up with. Great location right next to the Pig and Pancake restaurant.
Beds weren't the most comfortable. Rooms were a little small.

The dacor was great. The staff was nice. It really had that 50s feel.
The shower was made for a 4 foot tall person and the water was VERY inconsistent. Also the the people above us sounded like they had a dog that was constantly scratching and banging on the floor kept us up all night. I called about it and was told it would be takin care of. It was not and no compensation was made because I didn't call 10ore times.

The room is lovely and comfortable, the lady staff is so nice. We will choose to stay this motel next time.

The style is super adorable.
The place is a little shabby, and it's very noisy right under the bridge.
My first room smelled very doggy, so I did switch.

The mid-century vibe is strong in this place! Our room was clean and quiet, and the furnishings all looked like they were out of an episode of The Jetsons. The star attraction was the Noguchi coffee table in the lobby, where we sat with our complimentary breakfast and coffee. (If you're a mid-century buff, you know that the Noguchi coffee table is an icon of Sixties design -- as are the Saarinen egg chairs next to the huge natural-stone fireplace along the eastern wall of the lobby.)
It was clear that they spent the money wisely in the restyle, which meant there were a few older items (the sink had some scratches) that hadn't been given the "atomic" treatment. But FOR THE MONEY, I think they did a fine job.

Bed was comfy and room was a good size. Very convenient to all the things we wanted to explore in Astoria.
It was noisy in the morning as people started leaving. Loud talkers and they started at like 7am! But no fault of the motel.

the bath tub
noisy people upstairs

The check in was easy and the lady that checked us in was very friendly! The room was better than expected, large and very clean. We had the two queen/twin room. It has a small fridge and microwave, no coffee maker but there's a K cup machine in the lobby. The water was hot and the lighting good. TV and wifi service was excellent. Easy walking distance to a couple of local bars and Domino Pizza delivers there. Pig n Pancake restaurant is in the same parking lot, like a 30 second walk. Furnishings are true to the time period/Era and they're perfect! There is a soda and ice machine on the first floor and there's no key cards but a door lock code for the room. There's no elevator. There are no USB plug in so make sure to bring your own chargers. There is heat in the main room as well as the bath. Keep in mind Astoria is a working man's town so there will be traffic noise on all streets starting early but doesn't seem to be too loud very late. If you're used to traffic noise, it shouldn't bother you too much. Otherwise, I enjoyed this motel and will stay again and I highly recommend staying here.
Just a comment, not something I didn't like but more of a suggestion to have some of the plug in and switch plate receptacles replaced or tightened up. A phone plug-in barely stays in and the bed frame jiggles the plug in to the lamps, causing flickering every time the bed moves.

I really enjoyed the decor, it was my main reason for wanting to stay here! So much fun!
I know it is an older motel and close to the road, but that is the price you have to pay to stay in such a unique place.

the location is good. staff was very friendly.
little run down- the springs in my bed were shot. the domestic disturbance next door at 11, close to midnight. cops were called.

The staff was super friendly, the decor was really cool, the beds and pillows were comfy, the room was well appointed. Everything was excellent!
