Good communication from Booking.com. I will use you again. Too bad no laundry facilities. Overall a nice overnight stay

We stayed at the Kihei Kai Nani last year, in a 2nd floor unit, close to the cabana. It had two TVs, (both with Roku, so I could access my own accounts and watch what I wanted), two air conditioners, a cooler to use during our stay, properly equipped kitchen and bath, and was overall a MUCH better unit, a much more pleasant and comfortable trip. AND even cost less!
Walked in and wanted to wash my hands immediately, but they left an empty container of hand soap - not much use, why not just toss it at least? Opened a drawer in the kitchen to put food away and found an empty box of Ziploc baggies (no help) an empty box of plastic wrap (again no help, again, why not just toss it)? and found no Tupperware containers to store any food. Opened the freezer to find 3 broken/cracked/ripped ice trays (again, no use) and they were ALSO empty! Want to put ice into a welcome drink? NOPE. What is going on here? The unit had no washer/dryer, which was a MAIN reason why we wanted to stay here. No cooler to enjoy on a road trip or visit to the beach. No A/C in the bedroom so we were extremely hot, as the one old A/C in the living area could not keep up. (also, the "clean filter" light was on, so I'm sensing a real pattern of neglect here). Light bulbs out in the kitchen and light bulbs out in the bathroom. We were very disappointed, AND paid almost $700 more for this visit than we did last year, even though it was the exact same week in March.

The kitchen was fully stocked which is what we liked the most since we were cooking and packing lunches everyday. Also the barbecues were almost brand new and very clean! Loved the central Maui location, made it easy to drive anywhere. Loved the beach chairs and umbrella, we took them everywhere. Good quality for the price.
The AC was very old and lacked power... We had to use a fan to try to push the cold air towards the bedroom but couldn't get it really cool. The decor is outdated but we didn't really mind, it fits the pricepoint pour Hawaii!

The unit is old. Even if it is clean, it was difficult to tell. The bedding and pillows did not smell fresh, so we put towels over the pillows. The shower didn’t drain well. But it had everything that we needed for a stay and for cooking breakfast in the morning. It was only ok.

Bed was comfortable. Good size and
Layout of living area and Kitchen good.
Location excellent
Dated decor and appliances, toaster only toasted on 1 side. TV/Cable impossible to use. Although the place had been cleaned the whole place felt grimey. Needs new area rug, same appears soiled and worn (poor colour maybe?)

It's so much better than a hotel. A fully equipped kitchen and a nice living room, separate from the bedroom. Quiet location despite being in walking distance to the beach.
The toilet paper is much worse than what I remember from East Germany before the Wall came down. Just bring your own and you will be happy.
No recycling option for the trash area.

Good location, but hard to find since apt number (8) was not on the building as it was for all the other units.
Kitchen fully equipped to meet our needs. Loved the full window front overlooking lovely bushes and palms. Door code worked well. Thank goodness for the oscillating fan which shot the a/c back to the bedroom, which would’ve been too hot otherwise.
$250 cleaning fee for 3 nights is ridiculous; bathroom floor and shower base were dirty, and previous tenants’ empty shampoo bottle was on the floor. Tiny bugs in kitchen made us put even sealed food in a covered pan or the fridge. Would’ve liked a light blanket available for couch sleeper. Toilet tissue was like tissue paper…..had to use 3 times the normal amount. A nightlight in the windowless bathroom would be nice.

no breakfast was provided. location was good
The code for the condo should have been given to us far in advance of our arrival. It was sent to us by email only the day before and we did not get it until after we had arrived.
3.7
spacious, nice terrace outside, swimming pool
too many informational emails from the property (+15 emails received), crew already trying to enter before the check out hour

Furniture was comfortable.
Location was great for accessing beach and sunsets. Close to ice- cream place and shops/grocery stores.
Beautiful patio
Enjoyed the pool
Stocked with basic neccessities
Difficulty getting in at night. Lot was poorly lit and buildings were not marked well. Door code needed to be reset as it did not work and we had some difficulty knowing how to reach someone to help us.
TV was antiquated- unable to use chromecast/bluetooth

Comfortable unit
No broom and dust pan for easy sand clean up
Roosters.

The place was nice and secluded, private and quiet. The unit was very comfortable. Everything we needed was available and relaxing on the lanai was fun. We really enjoyed the stay!
It was a little hard to find. The front door is located on the backside of the building and it's hard to find the number on the front of the building. The unit was a bit dated.

This was a condo, so we cooked our own meals. The kitchen was well set up so we had cooking utensils, dishes, etc.
I wish the unit had a washer/dryer. We had one last time we stayed at Kihei Kai Nani, so I assumed we would have one again.

Location was nearly in the middle of all we wanted to see and do.
Not any kind of a view out our back area and were as far back in the units as possible so couldn’t see the ocean until we walked up the road.
