We stayed in the cozy, adorable, clean cabin. The owners were super friendly & helpful but non intrusive.

A very cute little guest house a short drive from Friday Harbour. Check in was easy, the room was very clean and well furnished. Large bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. Would definitely stay again.
4.7
The location was central and easy access to activities and restaurants.
I have high praises for Juniper House.

Great location, wonderful spot for relaxing in the evenings. Super comfortable beds and the most accommodating and kind host.

The staff was amazing and friendly, made us feel at home.
everything was perfect.

Beautiful place to stay
The road noise was a bit too much. Ear plugs would have been a nice touch to drown some of the cars/trucks but otherwise a really cool place to stay!
4.7
I liked everything about the property.

The location was perfect only a couple miles away from town. The owners were very friendly and accommodating! Our family plans on coming back as soon as possible!

The place inside and out was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was clean and made to comfort theres a fire pit outside with seating. The place felt welcoming and homelike unlike most lodging places. Junipers lane has much character in it and history in parts of it from other travelers and guest. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the island.

We booked this stay last minute during an impromptu island hop and I have to say, what a wonderful night at a beautiful property!
Everything was immaculate and clean. BBQ for cooking, great kitchen to use, comfortable bed with warm sheets and blankets, plenty of hot water for a bath. We couldn't have been happier.
Small amount of road noise, but we were too comfortable to really notice.
Overall, best value we've found on the island.
We will definitely be back!
Thank you, Juniper!

I really enjoyed the property and the area around the home. Everything in the area is gorgeous and the owner was incredibly nice!

Juniper has lovely rooms with the most comfortable beds, and bathrobes! Located in a quiet area, quick 4min drive to downtown. Will DEFF stay again!
4.7
It didn't feel like a hotel. Nice community areas. A great way to meet people. Nice outdoor area with hammocks. I would definitely recommend this place and would like to come back.
On the main road. A bit noisy but not bad. After all there isn't that much traffic on the island.

very charming and comfortable. no cookie cutter stuff here. everything feels warm and cozy.

Just about a mile from downtown Friday Harbor, this place is an excellent place to spend a vacation on San Juan Island. Juniper event kept a tab on our ferry status and informed us what we need to do. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there.

Juniper House is JUST outside of town - so very easy to go back and forth for activities, meals, etc. (but private car needed). The house itself is adorable and the bedrooms are very well appointed. Cute decoration but not too much. The full kitchen is excellent! We only used it for breakfasts and snacks, but it was wonderful to have access to it.
It is a little close to the road, so there is road noise (but very little), and the sheep... Cute at first but by the second night I wanted to ask them to pipe down! But with the windows closed, they weren't as bothersome.
4.7
The beautiful craftsmanship and design of the hotel.
There were restrictions on cooking due to covid, which were somewhat disappointing, as use of the kitchen is a big attraction.
4.7
Unique place. Beautiful decor. Incredible views.

The room was spacious
This was an expensive stay for very little. On arrival I had to call the owner as I did not receive an email as expected. Had a fault with only 1 of 5 lights working in the bathroom. Called no answer and got no call back. The room smelt musky. There was terrible road noise from about 4am. Advertised TV in all rooms only to get there and it wasn’t working. A small sign behind the tv stating waiting for new equipment. Also, not able to use the kitchen facilities, also something not mentioned until you are there. Would give this a miss as it was not a great place nor value for money.

This place was perfect! Everything my party of four needed. Spacious and clean. I think the only suggestion I would have is maybe putting bug spray out. We wanted to enjoy the backyard in the evening but were scared of getting chewed up!
4.7
The location was pretty. A bit too far to walk from the ferry dock. The location had cards for taxi services and we used those to go to restaurants and parks.
There was no breakfast. And while there was coffee we could make for ourselves, there was no milk or cream so that disappointed me. There was a large refrigerator with nothing in it. They could offer something for coffee.
4.7
Convenient location just outside Friday Harbor. Room was clean and well appointed.
We had an upstairs room without air conditioning. A table fan helped with the heat but the room never got to a good sleeping temperature. The house is right next to the road so there was traffic noise starting about 6am. Glad that were were there before the record setting heat over the weekend.
4.7
Beautiful room and property.
Nothing!

The location is perfect. The back view is beautiful and perfect for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. It is close to the road and you hear the cars but after a bit you don’t even notice. It is a beautiful place to relax. Loved it

What a great location! Minutes away from Friday Harbor and not far from other key locations on the Island. Room and home had great features and details. Also a great place in the back yard to relax on a hammock or chair and watch the waterfowl and their ducklings and goslings.
Saw a Bald Eagle every morning for the three days there. Juniper is a fantastic host too!
Nothing!

Our room and bathroom and probably the entire house were exceptionally clean!
