location
property was “long in the tooth” and needed a paint and upkeep. very expensive as to be expected on the Cape. Very loud partying until 330 am making sleep difficult
5.0 / 5.0
The rooms were large, clean and comfortable
The only negative was that the courtyard lights are on all night so you need to use your blackout curtains

I love this hotel! it is close to everything, staff is great. Nightly music is awesome. it’s right on the beach - bonus! it’s a super feet for a family!!

The cleaning g crew and others were very friendly.
Could not get a straight answer on why the fire pit was not in use. There were 13 in our party - family . It would have been nice to use that area in the evening with the gas fire in use. We were all given a variety of responses when asked about it.

The grounds were beautiful!
The staff very helpful and responded quickly to requests.
The room could use a chair and night table on the right side of the bed. I had to use a cooler in order to keep a few things near my side.
Maybe an update of the room (future)

Love the heated pool, breakfast bar, and on-site beach!
TV could be updated, but you don’t go to cape cod to sit in a hotel room!

The room was quite large, it had two queen beds, the mattresses were really firm, yet they were really comfortable. There were plenty of fresh, fluffy towels and wash cloths ; The room was on the first level, we sat out later in the afternoon, which was very nice, the grounds were well maintained.
Although the management tried their best to spruce up, and to conceal much of the nicks and scratches, when the bathroom was "spruced up" they used a thick latex paint to cover old and discolored places, this isn't the correct paint for an area that is for water and temperature changes. The paint starts to expand and peel off, what should have been applied is a paint that is for water and dampness. The bathroom was quite small, it had no space for storing make up and various things we normally would keep on a counter/shelf in the bathroom;

The location was really nice and I liked the private beach access.
The room was very plain. The bed was not very comfortable. I wish there was a microwave and coffee maker including. Overall, it was ok but they could a little bit more to make the rooms more enjoyable for those staying for a week.

Oddly shared with the restaurant. Could not use a lot of the grounds after 3pm

Closeness to the beach.
All was fine

Despite the need for some upgrades, the room was large and quite spacious for two. (We had two Queen beds, since a single King was not an option.)
The staff worked extra hard to keep our stay comfortable, safe and healthy, which was very apparent through ubiquitous masking and helpful signage. Everyone was friendly and hospitable.
The LOCATION of the resort is ultimately its best feature--our balcony with ocean view couldn't have been better, unless we camped out on the beach itself! The onsite cafe was a great place for coffee and breakfast, and the Ocean House restaurant was exceptional (but a little pricey for more than one grand meal during our stay)
Overall, our stay was very comfortable but some of the facilities could use some upgrades--such as the bathroom (fixtures, including toilet and showerhead, were ancient) and the paint in the room was showing water damage and wear (chipping).
Beach access was also a little tricky because of the Ocean House outdoor seating, which obstructed guest passage to the beach (except through a series of unzipping of tents!)

The location was fantastic. The lady the worked the breakfast each morning was phenomenal. I appreciated that they had beach chairs in each room for guests to use.
It would have been nice to have a coffeemaker in the room.
