Classic and Comfy

It turned out the hotel is part of a hotelier institution with only 11 guest rooms. The rest of the building was classrooms. The hotel building is an old and classic building, Receptionists were friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was quite large with well-equipped bathroom. The beds were comfortable but the single beds we had were rather small, probably only 3 feet. Breakfast was of Continental Style but with good quality ingredients. Bread was delicious and fresh. We had lunch in their restaurant and although their menu was small, the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

Housekeeping could be improved.

Très bon séjour dans un hôtel d'un niveau supérieur.

Hôtel bien situé prés d'un arrêt de tram, ce qui permet de visiter Bordeaux en transport en commun (abonnement pour une semaine 14€ !). Douze chambres seulement ce qui fait que l'hôtel est calme. Buffet du petit-déjeuner copieux. Personnel adorable et aux petits soins.

Le restaurant n'est malheureusement ouvert qu'à midi.

Budget hotel within walking distance of the station and town

This is a budget hotel pretty close to the train station and within walking distance to the city. It's in a quiet location, about 15 minutes from places that you'd like to explore. We arrived late and checked out very early: neither of which were a problem at all.

The hotel itself is the definition of budget: the sheets on the bed were clean, but definitely not new, and the towels in the bathroom would be better off replaced than used again.

Exceeded expectations.

Friendly helpful staff. Spacious, well maintained and clean room. Easy walk to embankment on Viking river ship.

The hotel was located on the fringe of town, but we could easily catch a tram.

The room was clean and staff were nice.

The outlook was very depressing - building site and a fire station. The hotel seemed quite empty (in August) and the outdoor area appeared to be shut down with chairs stacked against tables. Breakfast was inconsistent - and the breakfast room was uninviting.

Superb

Nice little hotel, clean rooms, probably 20-25 min walk to centre of Bordeaux by the bank.

There was issue with wifi upon our arrival which took some time to get fixed.

We enjoyed our stay and overlooked the shortcomings

Location ( easy to walk or catch the tram) Cleanliness and size of the room

Restaurant was closed for the summer View of river as described in room rate non existent - overlooked building and just saw roofs of other buildings.

Great value for money with super location

The hotel is perfectly located between the central city area and the Cité du Vin. Also easy to get and out of the city to visit the Chateaux. The tram line a few meters away was most helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and large with a very good shower! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We felt that there was great value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and to recommend the hotel to friends and family.

It was very good!

The room was big and comfortable, very quiet. Friendly staff. Pleasant walk to the center even it is not very close. Parking near by. We did not take breakfast so don’t know about that.

Great location full os restaurants, just 15 minutes walking from the city center. The room was exceptional, most comfortable bed I've ever slept in a hotel. Very helpfull and kind staff.

The room must be totally clean, and it's not the case. For a Luxe Room (Suite) it supposed to be everything should totally ready for new guests. Although, there was lack of amenities (no hand wash), as also all shampoo and body wash bottles where empty. It was replaced but they should have done it before a guest arrive, not during the second day when the client claims about that. Also, room was clean 7/10, as windows were not so clean.

the hotel is part of a school so it was great to have the young staff friendly and always willing to help. the room was good and spacious.

Location Location Location

Excellent location. 1min from the tram stop. Lovely restaurants along the promenade 2 mins away. Cite du vin only few stops away. Central bordeaux only a few stops away. Quiet area. Spacious rooms.

WiFi was poor. The mattress was a bit lumpy and a dip in the middle of the bed. 2 single beds put together for double. No English channels on TV and the WiFi not strong enough for firestick/chromecast. Bar service - returned one evening at 10.30pm wasn't able to get refreshments/glass of wine to take to the room. More 3 star than 4 I would say. Would stay again due to location.
