Lovely apartment with roof terrace/balcony in the heart of Bordeaux

Super Apartment right in the centre of Bordeaux with a large terrace/balcony. Just outside the door is Place Gambetta. Pretty much all Bordeaux attractions, sights and facilities are in walking distance. We were right in the heart of the city and yet sitting on the balcony/terrace watching the Swifts we could have been in the countryside - apart from the view of the cathedral spires. The apartment is an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. The apartment has everything you need, especially air conditioning. Communication with the team was excellent and the check in with Anna was a delight. The tram system in Bordeaux is excellent and now runs direct to the airport for just 3.20 euros for two of us. Overall a lovely apartment in the heart of the city.

The only challenge is 84 steps to the apartment but, that's the price to pay to get the roof terrace/balcony so it is well worth it and Anna kindly carried one of our briefcases up anyway. During our short stay we got used to the stairs which are pretty atmospheric being part of an old house - so they were not a problem.

Excellent!

The location can’t be better, right in the historic center with a lot of restaurants. Everything was very clean and kitchen was well equipped. The terrace was a nice surprise. The host was very responsive.

Beautiful apartment in the city center

Cozy, comfortable, very well situated. Room on the second level is very beautiful. We had a delicious local dessert upon arrival. Good coffee machine (capsules). Underground parking just 2 min by walk

Great, central place to stay but more accommodating methods of paying taxes needs to be provided

Very central location, large spacious property, all amenities were good quality

The Hosts booking.com account had been hacked and we were advised (too late) not to enter any bank details that had been requested. Then the host would not provide the entry details until we paid them the property tax...by entering our credit card details on line. They did not provide an alternative method of payment and we needed the accommodation.

Exceptional

The owner is very friendly and the location of the hotel is very good as it is in the center of the city. The interior is very clean, and there are bathrooms and toilets on each floor, which is convenient. Both my daughter and my mother were very satisfied.

The apartment is in an excellent location with some wonderful shops and eateries right outside the door. The facilities were great with two good sized bedrooms and modern bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom is absolutely stunning! The communication before our stay was excellent, as was the assistance of the person who greeted us to check us into the apartment.

No negatives - just be aware that the short flight of stairs up to the apartment is quite steep, and the stairs inside the apartment up to the second bedroom are narrow and winding, so factor that in if you have any mobility issues or large bags.

Tiny, nowhere to store anything. Said could sleep four but four adults in that space would be impossible and the sofa bad was in a corner under a sloping ceiling so very difficult for anyone other than young children. Up 84 stairs. We are very fit so not a problem but would be for many

One of the nicest hotels/apartments.

The apartment was exceptional, so beautiful and very well equipped. The location was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. I would definitely stay again. In fact it would be my first choice when I return to Bordeaux.

Only thing we missed was an iron or steamer for clothes coming out of the suitcase wrinkled.
