3 x Spacious Air Conditioned double bedrooms, a modern indoor kitchen, an outdoor cooking area, 2 x bathrooms, an outdoor shower and open plan living area. 'Al Fresco' terrace dining. The garden has 2 dedicated areas ideal for practising meditation or yoga or simply for chilling in hammocks. Set in a secluded peaceful garden yet only approx 6min walk by a natural mangrove to the beautiful Mirissa Beach .
The brand new Cargills Supermarket is only a few minutes walk from the house whilst if you fancy dining out Mirissa's best restaurants are all within walking distance.
The property is ideally situated if visiting Mirissa to go 'whale watching' as it's only approx 5 minutes by TukTuk to the harbour point where the Whale Tours set off from.

The garden is a paradise for watching wildlife. Two types of monkeys visit our garden more or less daily. I've seen a huge variety of exotic animals & birds by just sitting on my terrace, such as finches, kingfishers, parrots, humming birds, woodpeckers, peacocks, mongooses, porcupines and regal monitor lizards walking across the lawn. At night time the jungle sounds & ambience fruit bats fly silently above whilst the tall mango tree in our garden is visited by hundreds of fireflies.. a truly magical experience!
Crack open a coconut (a beer or a pina colada) & lay back in a hammock & experience yet another beautiful sunrise or the 'full moon' rising over the paddy & cinnamon fields whilst listening to the exotic ambience oozing from the jungle.

IMPORTANT - Our Bedroom Set Up
2 x Double Bedrooms with Double Beds
1 x Bedroom with 2 x single Beds ( This bedroom is accessed from within one of the Double Bed Bedrooms making it very ideal for families with small children)
We can provide a cot if required.
Guest access
Guest are welcome to help themselves from the fruit in season from our large tropical garden. We have bananas, mangoes, papaya, avocado, coconuts amongst many others. Your Sri Lankan hosts Rani & Lanka will help you cut some fruit.
Interaction with guests
The house is adjacent to our Sri Lankan housekeeper Rani and she will always be on hand to offer you any local assistance you may need. They will also ensure that everything is in order during your stay in our house.
They will quite happily share some Sri Lankan home cooking recipes with you.
She can also provide breakfasts or delicious home cooked local rice & curry dishes on request and against a fee. You will need to advise her in advance.
