mittelmäßig - nicht böse gemeint

freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück

sehr überteuert zu Weihnachten (wie scheinbar ganz Köln zu dieser Zeit); mit Auto schlecht anfahrbar (aber Parkhäuser in Laufweite verfügbar)

Mitten in der City

Die Lage ist super, Frühstück ist MEGA! Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer haben Klimaanlage und sind Recht gut isoliert bzw das Hotel selber ist nicht sonderlich laut. Straße ist bei geschlossenem Fenster zu erträglich.

Wir hatten laut Beschreibung ein Kingsize-Bett... War aber nur 140 Der Balkon ist zwar nett, mit super Aussicht, leider zu klein für Balkonmöbel.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt im kleinen Stadthotel

Sehr angenehmes kleines Stadthotel. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Es wäre auch möglich gewesen, ein zweites Kopfkissen zu bekommen. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Straßenbahn und Busse halten in der Nähe des Hotels. Wir werden nochmal dort übernachten, wenn wir in Köln sind.

Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Köln. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist lecker und reichhaltig und man hat eine große Auswahl. Ich kann das Hotel Esplanade sehr empfehlen und würde jederzeit dort wieder übernachten.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Nettes bezahlbares Hotel

Gute Lage in der Südaltstadt, S Bahn Linie direkt beim Hotel. Sehr gutes Frühstück Modernes Bad Betten bequem. Minibar, Badewanne (nur für kleine Gäste geeignet) und Klimaanlage in Zimmer 54. Kostenloses stabiles Wlan

Die Klopfgeräusche der Heizung haben uns leider morgens sehr zeitig geweckt. Am zweiten Morgen Hindernislauf auf dem engen Flur, weil das Reinigungspersonal Staubsauger, leere Müllsäcke, abgezogene Bettwäsche erc überall auf dem Boden verteilt hatte. Leider kein Smart TV, also kein Netflix und Co

Schönes Hotel mit guter Verkehrsanbindung.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten waren gut zu fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sehr ruhig,man konnte gut schlafen.

Leider gab es kein Abendessen im Hotel.

Superb

Really good location in the heart of Köln, a lot of good restaurants&bars around, easy to reach with public transportation. A nice and cozy hotel. The stuff was really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic!

The room was good just a bit to warm even though they had a fan for cooling it down.so a better air condition would be perfect.

A calm night in Koln

The breakfast was fantastic! the only thing i didn´t like was the watery coffee but it is a personal taste (I prefer coffee machines of Italian style with cappuccino available). Anyway the choice of cold and hot meals was exceptionally wide compared to another hotel we visited in the arc of 3 days. The rooms spacious enough, with a balcony to the inner side, so quiet! Aircon working, the bathroom somewhat small but perfectly clean and working well. Staff very nice, parking garage just in front of the place around the tram stop.

Superb

Super friendly and helpful staff. All 4 guys at the reception were really great. Good breakfast. Hotel is a little bit old, probably from the late 80's but all is super well maintained and neat. Room was super clean.

Staff deserve more than 3 stars!

A small hotel with a really personal atmosphere, situated about 25 minutes' walk from the Cathedral, the Old Town and the Rhine. There are, however, trams and trains running (silently) close by, at regular intervals. Our flight was so badly delayed that we arrived at 4 in the morning and yet we received an extremely gracious welcome from Diran, who took no time at all over the checking-in process and allowed us to get a few hours' sleep before breakfast. That was served in a pleasant dining room, equipped with all the necessary safety precautions of recent years and offered an excellent and very extensive choice, which was replenished regularly. Our room, at the rear of the hotel, was bright and cheerful and we enjoyed the fact that it had a balcony, on which we could stand...when the weather allowed! The bathroom was small, but adequate and there was never a shortage of hot water. Wifi reception was good and although there wasn't a need for it, during our stay, we appreciated the telephone in the room and the opportunity to contact staff, in an emergency; something a lot of hotels, these days, are dispensing with. Overall, however, it was the staff - Marcello, Christian, Alexander and Diran who made our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, information was plentiful and every encounter was marked by interest in our activities, concern for our welfare and a good deal of humour. They should be commended for the good work they are doing to make their guests feel relaxed and a little pampered. Thank you all for such lovely memories of Cologne.

A suggestion only...the background music in the dining room could be turned up, just a little, to drown the noise of crockery and cutlery...and to allow the guests to feel comfortable about talking to each other during breakfast.
