Très bien situé. Chambre propre et confortable
Attention au parking lorsque l'on a une voiture. Il faut compter 6 £ par jour.

Great location for train station. Easy to get to all the locations in town.
No breakfast served but that means you get to sample the many excellent coffee shops within minutes of the rooms.

Room was fine, bed and shower good.
TV remote control hopeless and v limited channels (5 only).; room at front so some traffic noise.
Check-in constraints meant extra parking cost at we had to arrive pre-lunchtime to go to the RSC Theatre.

Location, comfortable bed, kind host.
'Compact' room was more compact than anticipated, but OK for 3 days as we were out all the time. The room coffee was as sachets of instant coffee which is disappointing and unusual these days.
4.1
easy to get to and ideal location for visit, room was clean and well laid out. very quiet. ideal size room for 3 adults, plenty of storage although we were only there for one night. would definitely stay again

check in and out was incredibly simple. Location was excellent, about a 4-5 min walk from the main tourist centre, about halfway from the train station and town. The room was nicely decorated and clean, and there was soaps and towels provided.
it is facing a slightly busy road, so it can be a bit loud, especially when windows are open, but it gets quieter at night. Can hear talking etc from neighbouring rooms, so if sounds are a distraction for you, bring earplugs.

Amazing location, very clean and tidy

My daughter and I stayed here in the basement, before lockdown, so returned in September. It's its own sanctuary. We love everything about this accommodation. The drawing room and dining area are beautiful and the smell is fabulous.
Certainly nothing to dislike!

The room was on the second floor which wasn’t an issue for me except that the stairs became smaller and more narrow the further up you walked.
The downstairs reception was like a museum, especially since this place didn’t provide any meals as one room was a full room of tables and chairs (6,tables each with 4 chairs each made up with cutlery), the reception was a room of plush double seat lounge chairs. There was a kitchen, which was locked and couldn’t be used by guests, yet the owner says that no one lived on site.
My room was a single at the top of the stairs with only a single small skylight window for air circulation (about 2 ft square) and stinking hot during the day and worse at night. The floor (carpet) was marked with stains both around and under the bed and everyday it was hot to walk on as the room has no insulation from the heat of the day. There is no fridge for keep food or drinks cool although the small sink in the bathroom was used to cool my drinks when I supplied the ice (2 x 500ml cans only). The room it had a good ensuite bathroom (small but built for purpose (800mm wide x 3m long) with the smallest sink bowl I have ever seen, about 10 inches long x 6 inches wide, just big enough to get two hands inside it for washing. The shower was about 700mm square with a very awkward door which made going inside the shower nearly impossible unless you are built like a rake, of which I’m not. The water flow in the shower was just a light trickle, possibly less than 2 litres per minute although the temperature was Hot.
The price at £50 per night (about $100 Aussie dollars) is Highway robbery, but it seems that all accommodation in the UK is similar. Owners jacking up the price to try to recoup losses caused by than pandemic. Overall the room was basic but I can’t stress enough, if you are a bigger person (tall), the steps going to the 2nd floor could be an accident waiting to happen. I wear a size 10 shoe and less than half of it fits on each step.
