Breakfast was and looked fab, location was ideal. When i initially booked i thought i would be travelling with family and booked the superior twin room. I asked if there was any chance to change rooms due to a change of plans and it was no issue at all. Staff were lovely. Zero complaints.
Nothing!

Great location , convenient parking. Lovely bar & friendly staff.
Car park too tight

Stayed Room Only in a Contemporary Room, but so many other optional extras at one location - will definitely return

The breakfast bar and food selection were excellent. The cooked breakfast came rather quickly, we had not had time to eat our yoghourt and sadly was served on cold plates. As a result the breakfast was only just warm. The room was spacious, and we will certainly stay with you if we are in Stratford at the theatre.
The speed with which the breakfast arrived. It was as though all the ingredients had been cooked earlier and warmed up. Perhaps the kitchen could be advised to serve hot food on a hot plate.

I liked pretty much everything. As we were a party of 7 friends it was good that there were various areas where we could sit and chat without disturbing anyone else!
The lights in the rooms and how they work was a total mystery and very frustrating. I mentioned this to the reception staff, as did my friends! There should be instructions!

The hotel was beautiful, quirky and really took advantage of the historic location. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back.
The only downside we had was at breakfast where our hot drinks were delivered to another table that was empty and we had to wait 10min for this to be rectified plus our hot breakfast came ou missing key items. The breakfast restaurant wasn't busy at the time so we found that a little disappointing given how excellent everything else had been

De locatie is top. Tegenover de laatste woning van Shakespeare. Mooi oud hotel. Van buiten en van binnen. Smaakvol ingericht. Wij sliepen in het oude gedeelte wat een extra dimensie geeft. Prima kamer, badkamer en douche. Lekkere zeep. Goed uitgebreid ontbijt.
Wij hebben de stadswandeling gedaan met gids. Dit was leuk.
Twee avonden gegeten bij Restaurant Sorento. Goed Italiaans eten. Om de hoek van het hotel.
Er is een privé parkeerplaats tegen betaling.
Wifi was instabiel.
De bedden waren voor ons aan de harde kant.

Stayed here several times as location, cleanliness and service always first class. Parking is a bonus.
No instant coffee sachets in room!

Old school charm & lovely surroundings.
Room stifling on check in- Day 1 Lesson 1. Please make sure the a/c is on & the room is cool for the arriving guest(s) on a warm day. This is a minimum requirement
The outdoor terrace was a nice idea- but table & chairs covered in leaves & detritus didn’t make it very appealing

Average expected better like a full English, I ordered a vegetarian breakfast got vegan
More traditional , tastier meat

Great location, nice merge of the old and new building.

Everything--the location, staff very helpful

Location was excellent - close to the RSC and the town shops and restaurants. The staff were willing to do extra things (volunteering to recommend and book a restaurant booking when we needed pre-theatre dining for example) and were really attentive at breakfast. Great hotel - would recommend to anyone staying for a short break!
The grouting in the shower in my ensuite needs looking at, but otherwise, I couldn't fault it. Nice decor/no issues at all.

The room was lovely, but for the price I have stayed in bigger ones. The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the table service was excellent.
coffee pods! too much hassle if you want quick coffee whilst getting ready. Maybe to offer the Nescafe sachets would too would be lovely.

The part of the hotel we were in was a Tudor building - one of the main reasons for booking. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a good view of the street from the window (toward the theatre). After the theatre we came back to the hotel for cocktails in one of the comfortable lounges. Breakfast the following day was a particularly good one. I think we will probably return next time we visit Stratford.
Nothing I can recall. The restaurant occupies some of the ground floor rooms and it's a little confusing when you go to the bar and look for a seat as to which room is for the bar and which is part of the restaurant. So nothing significant!

Cleanliness and room was so lovely.
Staff at the front desk were a little rude upon arrival they were adamant they didn’t have our booking and they were quite rude until they found it.

Didn’t have breakfast. For a special night away it was wonderful.
4.7
The hotel was welcoming, the room was available ahead of time, there was parking available, the bars were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was welcoming.
Nothing.
4.7
Excellent hotel, location, staff are very good.
We were in a Tudor room and they could really do with secondary double glazing as the noise from the street is very loud. Also £20 for breakfast is excessive, you couldn’t eat £20 worth of food on a breakfast.
4.7
Very well kept clean hotel with lovely staff.
4.7
Great location. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on dinner or breakfast. We did drink in the bar and it was cosy had a good vibe. All staff we encountered were friendly. We loved the the little 'lego' pictures dotted around. They very kindly left us a mini prosecco and chocolates for our anniversary which was extremely kind.
Couldn't figure the air con unit in the bedroom which had a pipe going out of the window but wasn't an issue.
4.7
The breakfast was lovely. Real home made vibe and quality ingredients. Staff were really helpful. Place had a beautiful smell not like over tired hotels smelling stale, this was clean and fresh. Great decor and old and new blended well together. Fabulous place to stay to access Stratford
Free parking for guests would be good! £12.50 was steep. Just charge those who aren’t staying!

Everything was perfect. We stayed here during our wedding at Warwick castle and we could not have asked for any more support and kindness. The staff was absolutely amazing and every minute of our stay was very enjoyable.
It was always to cold in the hotel, but I think that is just Britain..
