wunderschöner Park, interessanter Garten, originelle Ausstellung im Park, sehr schöne historische Ausstattungim Schloss.
4.5
Loved the arhitecture and vintage furniture and also the natural park surrounding the building that hosted an exposition while we were staying. A great way to.spend times outdoors in the forest.
We loved the food from their garden at Bar a tomato and staff friendliness. Delicious breakfast.
The number of staff is underestimated and they serve rather slow esp on Sundays. The breakfast is delicious yet they do not serve eggs unless extra charged.

Beautiful location and so welcoming.

The food in the tomato bar was average

location is great; lovely surroundings; very interesting - vintage -decorated. castle has many interesting “treasure” corners. full of history, the castle is a charming place to spend couple of nights … and definitely a “must “ for a visit on Loire Valley.
dinner. not at the level of expectations.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The Chateau is beautiful and the forest nearby to take a nice little walk at the end of the day was amazing. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful with finding nearby stores, taxi's to tours, etc.

the hotel maintain well their beautiful garden and buildings, it was very special experience to live in this historical castle.
no, everything was perfect

it was a Chateau, what’s not to like.

We brought our two elementary age girls to stay in the chateau in late March, and we all really enjoyed the experience! Service was wonderful and we loved our stay!
Visiting in the shoulder season meant not everything was open for the season yet, but we knew that when booking. would be fun to return during the main season!

beautiful rooms, marvellous surroundings. a real experience. loved the lounge and drinks time.
nobody carried bags upstairs, which were very steep. bath didn’t have overhead shower and towels very worn. the dinner was disappointing. They were short staffed but there could have been a discount.
4.0
Nice chateau with its own parkland.
Rooms are mainly in the outhouses, which are the oldest parts of the castle. Modernized and comfortable rooms.
The radiator heater in the bedroom was not so powerful.(The bathroom was nice and toasty).
The fixed menu dinner offered in the outhouse restaurant was nothing to write home about.
3.0
The castle is amazing and the room was spacious.
Some of the staff were not very kind. The dinner was quite tasteless and you have to indicate the night before what you would like to eat and drink with breakfast.
5.0
The grounds were amazing. Highly recommend the dinner and breakfast, which were much better than trying to go into town.
4.5
Almost everything to like, however breakfast is the week link
In this otherwise very lovely place. It isn’t good enough, lovely bread basket but everything else is mediocre at best and certainly not value for money.

The location overall was incredible - the gardens in the summer are gorgeous, and the food was the highlight of our entire trip. The grounds and caves were likewise, incredible, and my family enjoyed a wonderful morning exploring them.
The family room was in a different building from the main Chateau, which I didn't understand when I booked the room. This hotel was the big splurge of our family's vacation, and we were all very excited to stay in a Chateau! The room was quite spacious, but not in the Chateau which had been our expectation. I'm not sure I would have splurged as I did had I known it was adjacent to, but not in, the main building. So, my only disappointment was the price of the room relative to the actual location.

Everything was perfect! Great room, the castle grounds are excellent including forest with trails, pool. Amazing!
3.5
fab setting and building , great gardens and walks. tomatoes are out of this world
this property is all about the gardens. It’s restaurant is poor, the breakfast has to be preordered and guests appear to be a nuisance. this is such a fantastic property and location why they do not get a proper trained hotel manager in to develop a good restaurant and pamper guests they are missing a big opportunity. The 200 tomato varieties are just fior exhibition, why not promote them to guests by variety , why not produce some in volume? this could be so much more

location and tomato / flower gardens
Pavillion lodging not up to expectation
3.5
the wood, the amazing building and history
would love kettle in room for morning tea and a shower rather than bath is our preference

Prompt service
Wrong tea, small and slightly stale croissant

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open when we stayed. The breakfast was however very good as was the ambiance at breakfast. all rooms were on the first floor - long staircase no lift - some confusion between Booking.com and Hotel about our not being informed of this
The climb to the first floor rooms - 30 steps

Beautiful Chateau & Grounds, especially at night. The Caves are creepy.
The Room is extremely outdated and no shower, only bath.

Restaurant at the castle was delicious! Breakfast was also very good and hearty. Rooms were spacious. Lovely stay!
More outlets in the room and air conditioning 😅

The exterior and the gardens were fantastic. It really gave u the feeling of time travel. Also the room was very spacious and the bathroom very nice.
The interior of the castle needs maintainance. The furniture were worn out, the doors were covered with dirt. Even the posters had fading colors. All in all felt neglected in the inside.
4.5
beautiful château and lovely grounds.
nothing

we have asked for a double bed but we got two single bed attached which was not comfortable at all. And also the chauffage was off so it was really cold the room.
