Great accommodation and highly recommended

Great location, friendly pub, clean and well furnished room, fantastic food. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

A group of ladies in the next bedroom were very noisy until late and kept us awake. I don’t blame the pub for this though, it was the inconsiderate ladies.

Give it a go you won't be disappointed

Stopped here amongst a number of nights away that week , excellent food , great staff , well appointed room super bathroom heated floor it was -5 outside , just well worth the money keep up the good work

Bed was a little hard for my taste but made up with the luxury bed linen

Great little pub. Lovely comfortable room and great food. The staff were very friendly and will definitely be staying again when next in the area

Excellent hospitality, accommodation and food. Good value.

The evening meal (garlic mushroom starter followed by a very large, superb battered fish and chips were both excellent. The full cooked breakfast was very good indeed and most enjoyable start to the day. The room was comfortable and well appointed with a very clean en-suite shower room.

Very enthusiastic personnel and very accommodating.

The soap dispenser in the shower was way above any sensible reaching height.

Cannot wait to return

I have stayed at many places and The Kings Arms has been one of the best. The food is amazing and cooked to perfection, the staff make you feel welcomed from the start and the building is well cared for.

A warm and friendly place with excellent food

Location suited us as we where visiting places nearby. Breakfast had a good choice and evening meals where excellent. Staff where very friendley.

One slight fault as it gave you the first impression on arrival was the carpet to the rooms was very stained.

Superb

The breakfast was excellent, accompanied by a big smile and advice about what to see in the area. The menu isn’t large but the food we had was well presented, fresh and delicious. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place and hope to go back there in the future.

I would strongly recommend this inn as an excellent place to stay any time of the year

first class stay ,lovely room,very helpful and friendly staff,top notch evening meal and breakfast. good location for access to the A1,handy over night stop if travelling north and again when returning. the owner has ticked all the boxes with this inn and deserves continued success.

Excellent food, and comfortable

Evening meal was exceptionally nice, and breakfast was good too. Staff were very helpful and helped me store my bike securely.

Great food, lovely large bed, quiet and picturesque village.

It was a little warm in the bedroom but when we opened the window there was a bit of noise from the road.

Great stay & great service.

Very welcoming staff. We booked during COVID restrictions. Chose to have an eVening meal - unfortunately it was raining and so we were allowed to eat in our room which was so great. The rooms were really nicely refurbished, comfortable and super clean. The meals were cooked fresh - my brother in law had a burger which he said was home cooked & very tasty. We enjoyed our stay. All in all to be recommended.
