The grounds are very nicely arranged and maintained. It is in a beautiful beach location. The food was tasty and the buffet had good options. The staff was very friendly and amenable. Brick oven pizza rivals that of Wooster Street. Located in an area where guests can leave the resort and walk around the town outside the hotel.
The rooms could use some updating. Drinks often take a while to get when a location is crowded. There is no wait service at the bar or pool and the bar is far from the beach. Snack options from 3-5 before dinner are limited.

Location and food was ok. Sport option were also good.
Personnel was highly demotivated, food was missing in several moments of the day, animation staff lacked animation spirit, thry were very demotivated to do their job... hotel is missing maintenance.

convenient friendly beautiful lots to do
making dinner reservations- the times were full when we arrived and the only options were late at night. it would be good to allow guests to schedule prior to arrival in order to secure spots.

In general the service is good. I want to highlight Isamar in the coffee shop, Teófilo in the Il Palco restaurant and Tony, a bar supervisor at one of the pools.
At our arrival we wanted to change our status to VIP by paying the difference and they told me that they did not have that option. Then we discover that it does exist. The beach had a lot of algae due to the hurricane that had recently passed. I had requested a room with a king bed and was given one with two queen beds. Despite the building being brand new, a lot of water got in after a heavy rain and we had to call them to dry the puddle of water that had formed under a window that was completely closed. The bathroom door did not close properly and all this despite being a new building. During our stay they were installing the elevator and there was noise all the time, hammers, drills, different heavy machines which made it impossible for us to rest. There was no water or soft drinks in the minibar, no coffee maker, so we had to call and ask for everything. They charge for the use of the safe that is in the room. When trying to book at the a la carte restaurants we were told that everything was full and that we only had to go to one. We booked at Il Palco and when we arrived it was almost empty and it was like that all the time. In general the hotel is not bad, but I think it needs a lot of improvement. The check-in and guest services staff must improve. Customers are there to spend a few pleasant and restful days, not to be told no to everything and put in unnecessary impediments.

Dinning restaurants were exceptional. Staff was always gentle.
Lots of dinning options and the resort had many activities to offer.
Sometimes restaurants were booked ahead of time and wouldn't take capacity.

1)the nurse office used tainted kits to frame my son as positive for Covid-19. I found out the testing kits are all opened and not sealed package. I requested to do the test again by using the sealed kit, but they do not have one. my son did not have any symptoms, no fevers and my family share one room and eat together, it is impossible that my son get positive and my husband and I are negative. I have the test kit at my hotel room and tested my son, he is negative. I tested twice! Negative!! but I need the negative report from hotel in order to go back USA. so I had to Tip them $20 to get a negative report to take fright. and they did! Can you believe this? they have done this to a 13 years old boy in order to get money. So do not worry if you tested positive at this hotel, as long as you tip them, you could get whatever report you want. 2) hotel staff do not speak English!! hard to communicate. two cleaning ladies speak very loudly in front of my room in the morning and I could not sleep well. 3) you had to tip the restaurant staff to get a seat, do not believe the front desk told you that restaurant is full, no, you tip them, you got seat! 4) hotel faculties are worst, not only old, but dirty. 5) charged extra fee for lobster that we never ordered, threatened us to pay otherwise we could not leave the hotel to catch the flight. Nightmare!

Clean hotel, nice view from our room, decent beach and activities.
Rude staff with very few exceptions. Noisy hotel. Mediocre food unless you book a la carte, but you have a weekly limit. Tap water isn't drinkable and you only get one 0.5L bottle a day. Bars and restaurants forbid refilling bottles. Poorly soundproofed room where we heard the disco 23-01 which woke both us and our baby (and we are quite the heavy sleepers). Guest service that pretend they will help you and then "forget" about it. We were promised a electric kettle for our baby food, and once we came back the next day to ask when we will get it, they said they don't have any in the entire hotel. Staff probably lying that the kind of room we booked doesn't exist (seafront king - one big bed), so we got a different type (seafront queen - 2 smaller beds). Beds are fixated to the floor so you can't move them together. Everything in our room was made of stone which was somewhat terrifying when you have a child and the stone gets slippery in contact with water. Got surprise charged for using safe in room, this might be my fault if I didn't read the fine print somewhere. They also charged us 110USD for one the a la carte restaurants which were supposed to be part of the all inclusive.

Racism and nationalism it is a usual staff behavior (speccialy if you not speak spanish or french).
Sexual molestation staff. One of the dinner area employees hinted at sex to my wife and handed her the phone number. It is common in this country (stick to other people's wives).
No more vacation in Dominican Republic for my family, especially for my wife and daughter.
One of the pizzeria employees was so rude. If you ask another piece(s) of pizza he made poker face. He was making ketchup fokkacho instead of pizza.
Another of the pizzeria employees empty Coca-Cola 2L Bottle and filled it by beer (for himself).
No CCTV in dining area. In case of this somebody from staff stole my baby girl favorite toy.
Cocktail bar staff are unique. They can't make non-alcohol drinks.
And more, more and more....

The location, beach, swimming pools are very nice, good attractions during the day. Most of the staff is very friendly.
Breakfast and lunch buffet food was good, but dinner buffet was very plain. Restaurant food was good, but we all got diarrhea after visiting one of them.
We booked 2 bed room, but we got 1 bed at first, we had to move on the next day... I booked it long time ago and didn't get any message about the room change.
The first room looked clean, but it was very, very dirty under the bed... the second room was smaller, but it didn't have space under the bed, so it was clean.

I liked the beach and the garden.
One of the servers in the cafe (her name is Angelica) was very attentive, professional, and friendly. She even made me a cappuccino and wrote my name on it with chocolate.
In the room a toilet flush was very weak and often we had to use the toilets in the common area.
We asked once to fix, but the plumber could not solve the problem.
The receptionists have a very limited knowledge of English and could not explain well about reservations in restaurants. Initially, they assigned the lower quality room which we didn't reserve. They did not apologize for their mistake and did not provide help with moving luggage to the right room.

The sea and beach
We were put in a room next to constructionwork. Too much noise all day. Not what one may expect longing for a relaxed vacation.
The sheets on the bed were not clean and the room neither. They moved us eventually to another room where apparently was even more construction going on as we found out early next morning. Never heard of planning these things? It is a massive commercialized place like an entertainmentpark with I guess underpaid staff.

I liked the beach but the location is maybe not the most convenient considering the transportation. The hotel was beautiful but unfortunately not very clean and they even had ants. Some staff members were very nice and tried very hard but many were quite lazy? Overall the experience was very good as I was spending time with my friends and that was the most important thing but there was some disappointment when it comes to the hotel and staff.
Cleanliness and some staff members approach. I had to call for water even 3 times before they would show up.

The closest beaches! Some people nice!
The food was not good! The concierges push you hard and continuously to have a membership!
Slow check-in!
We checked out early and in our way to the airport received a call from the hotel said we need to comeback because supposedly we didn’t pay! That makes me angry 😡!We pay in full when we arrived first day! That was annoying!
We pay excursions through the hotel expensive and they’re not puntual!

The beach and water is absolutely stunning. The staff bends over backwards to do everything to make you comfortable. Rooms are nice and spacious Your room is never more than a 5 minute walk to the beach where ever you are located on the property
If you are going for a culinary gastronomic experience and are a food snob STOP right now. This is not your place. The food is plentiful and adequate and you won’t go hungry but you will not have a Michelin starred experience by any means.
