Walking distance to Plaza del Sol and other locations we visit while in town.
The neighborhood is not what it used to be. Many rundown and abandoned buildings. Not as safe feeling as in previous years.

location is great if you want to be near city center. it’s easy to get to and from.
the shower door was broken and the shower head was not the best.

Breakfast was excellent and the hotel restaurant specialized in healthy organic food.
I had arranged with the hotel to send a taxi to pick me up since I was traveling as a single woman and my flight arrived at midnight. They sent me the driver's car and license and I stood waiting for over an hour without him finding me. I texted several times and we had language communication problems. Finally they called someone who could speak English and he found me.
I also asked them to call a taxi for me to go to Ajijic the next day and found out I was charged 3 times the going rate for a taxi on both my rides arranged by the hotel.
The night clerk gave me a room but told me there was no key for the room, that it was broken. I couldn't leave the room without being locked out. The day person gave me a key and it worked just fine.

1. very good service from the receptionist
2. very complete coffee station
3. enough towels for guests
4. the bed was very comfortable
1. cafeteria hours did not have flexible hours
2. There were mosquitoes in the room which made it difficult to sleep.
3. parking only for a few cars, but the place looks quiet so there was not much problem leaving the car on the street

Great customer service and clean facility
Pool hours could be a little bit longer

Nice clean, boutique style hotel. It has the comfort and professionalism of a large, corporate-branded hotel with the size and character of a local business.
The pool is smaller than I imagined.

The hotel has a great, central location that makes it easy to get to all parts of the city quickly. the hotel has a nice, modern design and they have taken care of the rooms nicely. while there was a small fault in our room at the beginning of our stay, the staff worked to fix it quickly and moved us to a new room when it wasn’t easily repaired. We didn’t get a chance to try out the pool and we never saw anyone else in there, it they did mention that it wasn’t heated, so it may have been a little cold to go in. But overall, a good place to stay.
