This property was everything & more than we had hoped. Rustic, Modern, clean, well stocked! Beautiful lot with the forest behind us offering seclusion and a great mountain getaway feel, just minutes away from town. The owner was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We look forward to visiting again.

Great cabin that is stocked with everything you might need for a mountain getaway. We stayed with our 3 kids and in-laws and there was plenty of room for all. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment for dining in, probably the best I’ve ever seen in any of >25 prior vacation house rentals. It’s a very short trip into town for anything you could possibly want to do. Neighborhood is quiet and secluded which made for a much more restful few nights of sleep over the July 4th holiday compared to the frequent cacophonous fireworks in Denver!Highly recommended, we usually don’t stay in the same place twice but I’m not sure there’s a good reason to look for another place close to Breckenridge.

Loved the wood log cabin, decor, and the area! Quiet and relaxing. Wood stove kept the space cozy. Hot tub very nice.

We came up from Denver for a weekend getaway. The log cabin is beautiful and very cozy. Plenty of space for 2 families with kids. We were mins from Breckenridge and about 15 from the ski resort. It was very easy to navigate and not hardly any traffic from that direction. The kids played out in the snow everyday and even practiced their snowboarding in the driveway. While we were a little bummed we didn't see their fox friend we still really enjoy the hot tub everyday! Having stayed at many places this one was one of the cleanest... hot tub included! Julia is an amazing host. She checked in with us upon our arrival and was very responsive with any questions we had about the cabin. We will definitely be staying again. If it is were up to my 5 year old we would live there. :) Thank you for wonderful and relaxing weekend!

Really awesome cabin, super cozy, super cute. Nice location with easy access to the town of Breckenridge. We loved spending time in the hot tub. Kitchen was nicely equipped for us to cook meals two nights. Comfortable spot to relax and unwind for a few days. Would love to return one day.

Lovely, extremely well appointed cabin... so greatful to stay in a place with so many creature comforts included. Julie, the owner, was wonderfully communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our entire stay. Traveling with four kids is always an adventure - this cabin made the experience so easy. Can't recommend this property, or the wonderful owner, enough!

A truly gorgeous cabin! We couldn't have picked a more perfect place for our long awaited reunion with our friends. By the end of the weekend, we were all referring to the cabin as the "magic cabin" with the "hot tub of connection." The hosts were extremely gracious and communicative and everything in the cabin was in wonderful condition. It was evening beautifully decorated for the holidays. :) This is a fantastic place to stay if you're looking for a mountain getaway that combines luxury with a touch of rustic. A very special place.

This place was so beautiful and magical. I can’t believe this place was real! We had the best time at this cabin and enjoyed some quality time together. Downtown was not far at all only a 10 min drive. There was so much to do and even got to hike a couple of trails. If I could do this over again I would and stay way longer than I did!

We stayed here for a week with 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 1) and it was everything we hoped. The place was beautiful on the outside and clean/cozy on the inside. The kids found toys to play with immediately, which was nice after a long car ride and a truck to unload. We had everything we needed in all rooms of the house, including all the kitchen utensils necessary to cook a lot of meals. The hot tub was perfectly clean and 103* the day we checked it out - super relaxing to sit with no noise around! The yard was plenty big and has lots of trees. We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

The cabin was so clean and comfortable. We had 4 of us and there was so much room in all of the bedrooms. We loved the clean and large hot tub! It happened to be a snowstorm while we stayed, and we got 16” of snow but being holed up in the cabin, we had no worries or issues. It’s a perfect place outside of town to relax and enjoy. Could not recommend this cabin more! The host even reached out to check on us when we were checking in so we felt like we could reach out at anytime if needed. Wonderful!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was comfortable, a quick drive into town, but also secluded enough to feel like a nice getaway. Fresh fire wood was provided and the space was perfect for our family. The hot tub was an added plus.

Short 10 min drive outside of Breckinridge into the countryside to experience a true Colorado cabin feeling with wildlife just outside your door. Perfect is the word I would use about this property. Can’t wait for our next adventure here!

The home was amazing, very comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and it was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The location was close to town but still felt like we were pretty secluded. The host was great to work with, she was very kind and responsive. We will most definitely be making a return visit!
5.0 / 5.0
We loved the cabin and especially appreciated the location. Far enough from the busyness of Breck but close enough for easy access. One standout feature of our getaway was the interaction with the owner. She is outstanding- thoughtful, helpful, and interested in our having a great vacation. In the past, I have experienced a hovering owner that checks in too much and an absent owner that never communicates, but this owner struck a perfect balance. Great place, great location, great owner means a great getaway!
5.0 / 5.0
Our family had a great time in and around this property for four nights. We have four children, and this property accomodated our family with room to spare. The owner went above and beyond in the response to any of our questions. The neighborhood is very quiet, which is just what we wanted. We would love to return any time we are able to do so.

We would absolutely return to stay here in a heartbeat the next time we are in the area, and we have suggested this place to many of our friends. The log cabin is beautiful with a family feel. Its location is very private and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking or skiing. The host was wonderfully helpful/communicative and friendly. You can tell there is a lot of pride in this place.

After Wedding Getaway
Me and my wife of 27 years wanted to get away for a couple of days after spending the last 12 months planning our daughters wedding. This was our own little “honeymoon” after the wedding. This cabin was perfect! Cozy, secluded, quiet and simple. Exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend 100 times over and we hope to be back.

Beautiful surroundings - inside and outside. So happy we got to enjoy the hot tub, card games on the dining table, and nice cozy beds. Would stay there again. Beyond excellent communication from owner

Breck from a scorcher summer in KC
The owner, Julia, is invested in your vacation experience. Very responsive, super easy to work with. The king bed upstairs is very comfortable as I haven’t slept as well in a long time! Cozy, off the beaten path yet close to the best trails for hiking. Really loved the visit.

An amazing Colorado experience!
We loved our time in the cabin and it was the perfect size for our family of 5. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it was a short drive to Breckenridge. The privacy of having the mountains right in the backyard made it perfect for looking for wildlife. We were visited by a fox and moose, right outside of the cabin! We also enjoyed watching the chipmunks play around the yard.
There’s lots of things to do within a short drive. We spent our week hiking, fishing, kayaking and zip-lining along with exploring the downtown area. The cabin was well stocked for cooking and we loved having the gas grill. We enjoyed several great restaurants in Breckenridge as well. The deck area was a great place for family time and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of activity!
We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing Colorado getaway. The only recommendation is that we’d love to see some outdoor seating on the deck.
