The breakfast changes every day, there is only one option per day, in my opinion the breakfast options were tasty and good portions.
The room was clean as well as the shared bathroom/shower facilities which were cleaned every two days. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The location is fantastic for exploring Antigua by walk. They also offer low cost tours at a good price. We took the Acatenango tour.
The quality of the mattresses, blankets and towels varies a lot (we stayed in 3 different rooms in 3 different opportunities). Often the mattress was very old, and the same with the towels. The bedrooms can be very cold during the night, needing extra blankets to keep warm.
They provide “drinkable” water, however we have doubts of the safety of the water, I have no doubt the water is clean/safe enough for locals, but I would recommend foreigners to buy bottle mineral water instead.

A whole bus of people came here at 2 in the morning and woke me and my partner up by yelling across the hostel, banging on our bedroom door trying to get in, playing loud music, and looks like the hostel overbooked. We had a hike the next morning early at 6am. The staff did nothing to quiet the crowd down and is honestly one of the worst stay experiences I’ve ever had at a hostel ever, I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all if you like sleep. We were told by another local person staying here that this happens all the time. I think if we stayed at a party hostel it still would’ve been a better experience and more respectful at night, truly awful stay.

Que al hacer la reserva era un valor y cuando llegue me cobraron maa independiente al recargo del pago con tarjeta, no me cobraron el precio q tenía en booking

The staff had a nice friendly vibe. The breakfast in the morning alternates so you don't have to eat the same thing every morning! I liked having my own entrance it felt a little like an apartment.
The room I was in was next to the shared bathroom. That is fine but there was no number on my door so people kept mistaking it for the bathroom and a few times people just opened the door and came into my room. I learned to lock it while I was inside but a number on the door to indicate would be nice. Also the door handle wasn't the best lock could be a little more secure.

Lugar accesible. Histórico. Cómodo. Barato. Céntrico
El calentador del baño compartido está bajo. Deben subirlo unos 10 centímetros. Hacemos gente un poco alta

We loved our stay here. The breakfast was so delicious and we loved the atmosphere of the place.
We liked everything

Location is good. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast could have been better. Toilet so small and squashy. Very loud in early mornings.

Nice breakfast
We booked and paid for a room with a double bed shared bathrooms but when we arrived we got given a room with two single beds at the same cost. When we asked for the room we booked they said we had no option unless we wanted to pay considerably more for a private en-suite. Very disappointing.

Very nice staff and the rooms in the back of the building are very quiet, that was very nice too.
They we're building something at the end of the corridor. This made quiet a lot of noice sometimes. Besides that, very nice stay!

The people working here was the best part of our stay! They made it out of way to make sure we had a good time. My boyfriend cant eat gluten so they made breakfast he could eat, they also let us keep our bags here and come back for a shower after we did the acatenango hike. Great walue for money, would definitly come back!

friendly staff, good breakfast, great location, good room
there is only one bathroom so sometimes you will have to wait, but it is worth the price

2 of the 3 nights we stayed came with a great breakfast. One day was pancakes lol.
The courtyard outside our room. And the super friendly and helpful staff.
Astroturf in the lounge.
I have literally slept on better matresses in back alleys and flop houses and heard less traffic sleeping under freeways. True story.
Very loud room next to road. Horrible spring loaded matress. Pillows of dust. Blankets covered in stains.
Sheets looked alright tho.

The hotel is very well located within walking distance of everything. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
The room was small but comfortable with a little window. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower had warm water throughout the day.
The breakfast was very good and was different on the 2 days we were there which was nice.
It's great value for money, would definitely stay here again!
There is only one bathroom for all the rooms upstairs which means you have to wait sometimes. This can be inconvenient.
