Loved how beautiful home is. The view outback and pool was amazing!

This is our second time to stay at this property which is always clean and comfortable. There are beach chairs, umbrella and coolers available for a beach day or two. The pool was clean and there are new loungers which was nice to have. The neighborhood is close to restaurants and shopping, and don't forget Love Boat Ice Cream. We booked this property for September and look forward to another relaxing vacation.

I walked into an uncleaned home. Popcorn on the floor, burger wrappers on the grill, cup of coffee left on the nightstand, dirty sink, dirty/soiled linens and couch that needed to be steam cleaned or thrown away. Plush broken furniture and an awful odor.

Pool has an issue, water leak likely. I addd water to help the pump not overwork twice in 5 days, VRBO communication was made prior so they knew about the issue. One bedroom had bugs along the baseboards and all chandlers had visible cobwebs.
We would positively stay again, but cleaning needs to look at more than something superficial. In my opinion.

Great house! Not so great management.
We loved the house! The pool and spa were great when they were working. We didn't have pool heat for most of our stay which was a huge disappointment. The owners did a nice job with decor and supplies. The beds were super comfortable! We just weren't impressed with Vacasa itself. I called for pool heat 6 days before arrival and no one came to turn it on. Then we spent a lot of time calling a different guy to get it to work. There were ants in the kitchen, a dead lizard in the cabinet in the kitchen, and trash on the patio when we arrived. We are definitely planning to stay again with hopes that the management company does a much better job. The owners have done a nice job here.

Beautiful, cozy home
This house is ideally located (i.e., near grocery and shopping) within a clean gated community. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The home itself has a wonderful layout and includes the necessary amenities for a worry-free stay. The pool area is ideal and includes a nice pond view.

Palm Tree Paradise
We highly recommend this home. Although we did other things I was just as happy staying home and setting by the pool drinking a margarita! The home is so comfortable as well as close to shopping, dining, etc. Ready to start looking for one for us to buy and move into after retirement.

Nice pool and spa
The house was a little shabby. Undecided as to whether it was a rental or someone’s actual home. The pool and spa were great and the management company was very responsive regarding any issues. Nice neighborhood.

Needs updating and cleaning
Basically, this was a very nice home, however,as you walk into the front door the first thing you see is dirty entry way with chipped up paint on the concrete.. when you open the main door the entry hall doesn't look bad,but as you look to the hall on the right leading to the 2 guest rooms the carpeting is filthy, spotted, and worn out..the guest room with the queen size bed had carpeting that was full of spots and a comforter on the bed that was dark and drab and very dated.that same bedroom is very small.. you can barely walk around the dresser and bed.
The master bedroom and bathroom were updated and clean, but not what I would call spotless. It looked like tomato juice had been spilled on the white tile next to the bed..
The kitchen was nice except the coffee pot was missing the basket. We called the manager and they replaced the coffee pot for us the next day.
The living room had dated furniture that was not clean . There is a throw blanket covering a faux leather chair because the faux leather is worn out and peeling off.
The chairs around the counter we're another story. They're white with cloth cushions. They were not only spotted, but actually had dirt ground in around the edges of the cushions.
The trash cans in the kitchen had food spilled on them and there was tomato sauce spilled in the oven and on the oven door.
The pool was beautiful. We paid the extra money to have the heater on. It never seemed like it was 86 degrees. We had the management company check the temp they said their thermometer read 86..the thermometer in the pool never got above 82.
All of the patio furniture cushions were dirty..it looked like someone had started to paint the chairs but never finished.
There were popsicle sticks and Cheerios left on the patio.
We called the management company and asked to have the house cleaned up.
We complained about the dirty carpet. They said it was too late in the season to have enough time to clean the carpet..
A person came out to clean and I pointed things out. She did her best.
She told me to just throw towels over the patio furniture.
I ended up using 409 to try to get the spots off the carpet.
U scrubbed the cushions on the stools in the kitchen..and washed the smaller cushions from the patio furniture in the washing machine.
My husband and I spent the first 2 days of our vacation cleaning.
The neighborhood was nice and the home is conveniently located.
The house needs the carpeting and patio furniture replaced..

Great location, Great time away!
Total relaxation, the home had all the amenities you’d want for an extended stay. We did hit the beaches in Ft Myers beach as well as on Captiva. Restaurants were plentiful but with a Publix a block away and a Super Target also a block away, we did a fair amount of cooking at home as well.
Our lake behind the house was a pure joy, with pelicans putting on a daily show.

We really enjoyed staying at Palm Tree Paradise. The house is large enough to accommodate two couples with sufficient intimacy. The neighborhood is very quiet, the house is clean and well-equipped.

House was beautiful - management company - not so much
I will start off this review by saying the house is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in March. It was very tastefully decorated and had everything you could possibly need. The pictures did not do it justice to just how beautiful it was. We arrived to find it spotless. The check in process was a breeze. We could not have been happier when we walked in. Unfortunately - the pool did not heat the entire week we were there and we had about 4 hours total of heat from the hot tub. It was a cooler week and our kids were devastated that they had to shiver to swim. We’re talking 65-70 degrees pool temperature. This was the thorn in our side that kept poking us the entire time we were there. We found out two days into our stay that there was a extra charge for the pool heat that was separate from the hot tub charge. No problem - we added it. Unfortunately, that did not help nor did it explain why the hot tub would not heat. We contacted Vacasa headquarters both by phone and email. We spoke to a local manager who told us we were a priority but stopped returning our phone calls and texts by day 5. Even when we were having problems with a fuse blowing out continuously and I had safety concerns, neither Vacasa or the local manager would return calls. Once we were home we continued to try and contact Vacasa without any luck until my husband publicly went on their Facebook page and voiced our concerns with paying for a service that wasn’t provided. It was only then that we were contacted and received a partial refund. Although we were happy with that, it doesn’t take away from the memory of all the hassle and stress that we had to go through on vacation when we were hoping to get away from it. My husband and I couldn’t help but wonder if the owners knew how their house was being managed. I think that this is a great vacation property and that with better management that would address problems as they come up or at least that would be honest, this could be a perfect vacation property.

Love this place
This place was exactly as advertised. The home is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. It had everything that was needed for a great vacation. It is located in a gated community and had a large pond in back which was home to several kinds of birds. The pool was absolutely amazing. We would return in a heart beat
