About this apartment rental

The Maravilla has one of the largest pools on Galveston Island! There are 3 pools, one heated a hot tub and exercise room with ocean view! We are very dog friendly with a dog park and shower.
Welcome to Golden Sunset! Beach cottage decor with all the extras and convenient location and great views with 2 balconies open and ready for YOUR GROUP!!

***The property is beginning to resurface the main pool. The heated pool will remain open and is set at a nice 92 degrees! Project completion date March 1. The area with the main pool will be closed for the duration of the work including the hot tub. Most of our winter guests only use the heated pool but it is never crowded. It is located across the driveway from the main pool so you will not be disturbed by the work. We have also arranged for our guests to have access to the cold pool next door at the Marriott if you prefer a cold pool and also the pools (heated and cold) and hot tub at the Dawn complex only 1 mile down.

***As you enter the complex, you might notice a small construction project at the very
front. You might hear some noise during the day from 8 to 5. All construction and noise from construction stops at 5:00pm.

* Ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom. Master features enlarged shower. One tub in the 1st bathroom.
*Accessible fully furnished balconies off of the master bedroom and den.
*Kitchen with full size appliances and all the necessities.
*Full size washer/dryer INSIDE the condo.

BRINGING YOUR DOG: We welcome dogs so if you would like to bring your pet with you, please send a request with the type and weight and we will send you the approval. Please add PET to your reservation. Our non-refundable pet fee is $150 plus tax for two dogs up to 35 pounds each.

This condo offers beautiful views, with updated features, sleeps 10 and has 3 king beds with 3 full size bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

You will have 100% access to the entire beach condo with private entrance.

This condo is located next to EVERYTHING fun in Galveston. Just step across Seawall Blvd for access to the wonderful beach. Moody Gardens is just behind us within a short drive. Within walking distance is Jimmys on the Pier for dining (upstairs...over the ocean) or fishing. You can also walk to the Go Cart tracks and the movie theater and Miniature Golf. There is a handy guide in the condo with all of our favorite restaurants and things to do.

Galveston Trolley is available at $1 per ride accessible at 81st St.
Uber & Lyft are available also.
Parking on the Seawall is available for a fee.
Fee: $1 / hour, not to exceed $8 / day, yearly passes available*
Operation: 10 AM – 6 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days per year

At the complex, there is ample non-reserved covered and uncovered parking. You can pay the front office upon arrival or the next morning if arriving after hours. A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices beginning June 1, 2021 are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

Winter Texans! We offer long term winter rates for Fall and Winter every year. Simply add a 30 day or more stay and the discount is automatically added to your quote.

My family absolutely loved our stay! We ranged from under 1 year old to 45 years old and no one had any complaints! The condo was exactly as described, the resort was lovely, and the owner communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. All 8 of us agreed that next time we go to Galveston, we'll be booking our stay here, again!

Our group of six adult family members enjoyed the stay. The rental unit was very nice, and was exactly as noted in the listing. Everything worked as expected except for the coffee maker, which got replaced with a brand new one in less than an hour.

Enjoyed our stay at the Condo, it was very clean, plenty of towels, dryer door was broke, but was fixed immediately when I reported it. The kitchen was well stocked, but did not have a cookie sheet or pizza pan, which are two things our family uses often. The only negatives are with the property itself, not this condo, it is currently under construction. The water from the kitchen faucet, the bathroom, was colored, we hated to even shower in it.

We celebrated my husband‘s 40th birthday with our children and his parents. Adequate space for all to rest comfortably and yet a large communal space for us to enjoy coffee and breakfast as well as wind down at the end of the night. The close proximity to the pool allowed myself and my youngest to enjoy the water and the sunshine, while older kids slept in, while others stayed comfortable out of the sun. Everyone at some point enjoyed the pool and were pleasantly surprised at the experience and overall space. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed to do so with ease. Saved as a favorite and will rebook again.

We had the best time staying here. We had 3 adults and 4 kids and did not feel cramped at all. Kitchen was fully stocked with all pots and pans, glassware, etc., the beds were comfortable and plenty of beach towels were provided. The condo was very clean when we arrived. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be staying here again.

This 3 bed/3 bath unit is great for family and friends. The coastal decor was lovely and everything was as it appeared on the VRBO site. The manager was quick to respond and helpful. The pools were very nice. I would stay again next time I visit Galveston.

My family of 5 (two adults, 3 teens) met my parents in Galveston and this condo was perfect for us! The boys slept in the bunks, my teen daughter had her private space and the adults all had their own room and bathroom. The kids enjoyed all the pools (even the ice cold one!) and hot tub. The location was ideal- close enough to all the action but far enough to get away from the crowds. We loved walking along the sea wall in the mornings and being near Walmart made grocery runs easy. The condo looked just like the pictures! Wi-Fi is spotty at times and water pressure isn’t the best, but we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Galveston!

We enjoyed the very nicely updated condo and all of its furnishings. The beds were very comfortable ! Furnished with nice bedding and towels. The building is a little bit old and the elevator a little tired but overall we had a great time here.

Donna is an amazing host. I had several questions in the months leading up to our stay and she always responded within an hour or two. The condo itself was very clean and had everything you would need for a beach vacation. I also have an infant and it was baby friendly which was a huge plus for us. The property itself also had a great resort style pool. It’s close to any and everything you would need in Galveston. We felt safe on the property and I would recommend this condo to anyone visiting Galveston!

Booking process was quickly approved and Donna answered all of my questions and concerns very quickly. The condo is very clean & well decorated. There was more than enough towels for everyone and she even had beach towels for us! Read prior reviews in regards to the elevator issue but we had no problem with it at all. Really cozy apartment with every you think you could need in a great location. Master suite was lovely, huge double shower, nice balcony. You will risk death if you try to cross Seawall Blvd to get to the beach on the weekend, but you can always walk further to a cross at a crosswalk, to take your car. One thing to note, if you plan to utilize the bunks (which are awesome and cozy) or the sleeper sofa for your party, is that all bathrooms are ensuite, so those guests are walking through a bedroom to use the bathroom :) But for three couples, or a family, this accommodation was great.

This was a great stay for our weekend in Galveston. We had 6 adults and 3 kids under 3. Each family had their own room and bathroom which worked out well. The pools were great! Everything about the condo was true to the description. The only issue we had was with the elevator being really slow. So we had to take the stairs most trips up and down which is hard with a bunch of kids and beach gear. Would def recommend!

We had a wonderful time at the condo. The beds were comfy, A/C worked fantastic, loved having a washer and dryer to wash the beach clothes, and the balcony in the Master bedroom was amazing! We had 10 in our group and I would say that was too many people- something more around 6 or less would have been perfect given the space of the living room and kitchen. The parking at the condos wasn’t ideal and there was only one working elevators which forced us to take the stairs the entire time. Overall the trip was great and we enjoyed our stay.
