The staff was very nice

sweet, local hotel, with a colonial feel and a beautiful inside garden. Breakfast consists of 3 choices and is delicious and plenty! Rooftop views are amazing. 5-10min walk from city centre which was not a problem for me. Staff was very friendly. Thanks, La Villa Serena, for a great first stay in beautiful Guatemala!
8.0
Friendly, helpful staff! The outdoor space is very nice.
The bed was squeaky and the water pressure low. I recommend more comfortable seating for the roof top.

Super friendly and helpful staff.
Low water pressure and the room is a little dark.

Lovely small hotel in antigua, the building was cute and the breakfast was nice.
The location was bit farther out from the center than expected, but I might just be bad at reading maps.

The place.has a lot of personality, staff was lovely, our room was spacious (we booked a big one).
Breakfast could have more options (like juices, cheese, ham, butter..) and fresher bread.
10.0
the view on the rooftop, the rooms, the breakfast and the courtyard!
it was a little bit of a walk from the center of town. but it was also nice and quiet for that reason

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Location, room, terrace, the smell in the whole building, comfortable beds, shower pressure, and hot water, views!
The cherry on top and the last but not the least is the staff and the traditional breakfast 😋 absolutely delicious.
I stay for two days and today I book one extraday time, as well as spend my last day on my way back to England with them.
Ps. Highly recommended 🥇
Gracias chicos, sois los mejores.

Nothing at all, is nothing to dislike.

Beautiful hotel, the best we stayed in in Antigua and we stayed in a few. Feels luxurious, lovely breakfast and fantastic positive customer service from the staff they were genuinely lovely and helpful. Especially Jonathan on the front desk.

I reserved Hotel Villa Serena, but one day before my arrival I received a message that I was being sent to some other hotel, where I got a cold, damp, dark room. I would not recommend booking this hotel, as they don't honor the booking and offered no reimbursement nor any other compensation for the last minute change.

Great breakfast, very friendly and attentive staff: tea, coffee, extra plantain for breakfast. Very clean and pleasant hote exactly as on photos. It is located outside of the Antigua fuss and noise. Amazing terrace with the view.
If you get a room on the ground floor be ready for some noise starting from 7am, was not a huge problem but something to consider

Was the perfect stay!
The hotel it self is beautiful and pretty fancy, but the staff was just so nice that we fell in love.
We had to come back when we returned to antigua (we had no doubt about that).
Ah and really good included breakfast.
Extremely recomended.
We liked the quite location, but it is just less than 10 min walk from the city center.

Breakfast was really nice and the staff was friendly.
No air conditioning or fan. Few power outlets.

best value for money i had!
the Hotel staff are amazing!!! always willing to help, very kind, give a lot of recommendations on the city.
the room was simple and beautiful, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, everything was very clean, will definitely come back if i will ever be in Antigua.

Very nice hotel with a gorgeous yard and roof top (however a shame the roof top doesn’t get used more). Very friendly staff. The room was comfortable however pretty small. God breakfast and good value.
The location isn’t the best. Centrum and restaurants are within walking distance (probably 10 min) but there are so many hotels to pick from more central if you care about that
The roof top could have some more stuff to make it feel more liveable/comfortable (it might just have been taken away because of the wet season?)

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They gave us useful information to make the most of our quick trip.

It is an awesome property, with kind and
helpful staff, beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast.
There is nothing I didn’t like of this hotel.

We absolutely loved this place! Beautiful decor, very clean
and comfortable, and the staff was really helpful. They
arranged our rides and we’re so friendly! Breakfast was
amazing! We loved hanging out in the courtyard and on the
roof with views of the volcanoes.
Off the beaten path, so it was quiet and peaceful at night.
Within walking distance to Hector’s restaurant, which is really good.
Highly recommend!
Everything was perfect.

first off all - a GREAT all around hotel in Antigua!. a solid value for money.
1. the staff is lovely and kind - they let me make phone calls when my baggage didn’t arrived after a long flight, helped us with information on the city and available 24/7 at reception or WhatsApp.
2. the place is clean, the rooms are big and comfort. the hotel has a beautiful design.
3. it’s 10 mins walking from center Antigua. for us it was great to avoid the noise at night.
4. breakfast was really good. 10/10.
1. water pressure was a bit low - not something that makes a change or what so ever.

Breakfast was good and the room was very clean
The room was good, however the roof has link and you can heard water dropping next to the bed. Was not that bad but you can heard it.

A great little hotel hidden away on a side street. It was super cute, breakfast was great, and the staff was amazing!

I loved the breakfast. The staff personally delivered it to where we were sitting and it was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.
The location was a little bit away from things, but still possible to walk and easy to get an Uber!

The Staff.
Breakfast. Limited and not tasty.

Rooms are really comfortable, the staff is absolutely amazing. Really helpfully and friendly. The place was always clean. The hotel is 10 minutos by walking to compañia de Jesus. Tourism policy is really close to there.

The staff here went above and beyond to ensure we had all the logistics for our stay, transfer and hike up volcan acatenango arranged. They met every request with delight and we loved experiencing their warm Guatemalan hospitality. I have no idea why some reviews mentioned the breakfast being average - it was amazing, some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had as well as a traditional option.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. It was a little way from the city center and very quiet, which I appreciated greatly. The courtyard was lovely, as was the fabulous view from the Terraza. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice, but simple.
We had a broken toilet in our bathroom so that was really the only complaint. The bathroom otherwise, was beautiful and clean.

It was a beautiful home and the views from the terrace were incredible.

Compared with similar accommodation in antigua, here is a little bit expensive.
