I had a long weekend stay visiting family in the area. The Dairy was a delightful base to stay - deep in the countryside as part of a group of farm properties with cattle and horses in the nearby fields. Being fairly high up there are wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and it is very quiet and peaceful.
The Dairy had everything I needed of a good standard. Clare was very helpful and responded quickly to all communications. I really enjoyed my stay at the Dairy and recommend it for a solo or small group stay.

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful dairy property. It was such a wonderful break in the English countryside, the area was stunning and we loved exploring it. The host, Clare, was extremely friendly and helpful, she made us feel right at home and helped us with what we needed. Check in was very simple, the property was very clean, and everything was as promised in the property profile. I came with 15 and 17 year old teens for a tour of Europe and this was their favourite stop. We were visiting friends in the area and I didn’t even want to leave it to go and visit ;). Thank you so much, Clare. We highly recommend this property and hope we can come back!!

My husband, 2 kids, and I stayed here during our Staffordshire leg of our UK trip. The countryside is stunning! The views from the cottage are awesome. My 8 year-old loved all the animals. The cottage was clean and well-decorated. The host is welcoming and communicative. I would be happy to stay here again!

This is a fantastic property, we thought slightly undersold in the listing if anything! The view from the lounge window was stunning, and the quality of the finishes overall was really good and made for a comfortable stay. We hadn't seen that there was an ensuite bathroom so that was a bonus. Little touches like the fairy lights, great kitchen equipment and washing machine were great. The fit of the skirting boards against the dishwasher meant this couldn't properly be opened, so we didn't use it - but this didn't detract from our stay.

Beautiful cottage with an amazing view from living room window. Right out in the sticks and perfect for walkers. We were visiting old family haunts in Endon and Stanley Moss so location was perfect.

This was our 2nd stay here, its a lovely cottage spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The secure outside area for our doggies is ideal. We will definitely return for another visit.

Stunning in every way. Beautiful property, spotless throughout. Stylish and creative layout and decor. The hosts were beyond lovely and the views were ridiculous (in a VERY good way). Faultless to be honest. THE BAR HAS BEEN RAISED. We will return. X

The Cottage was the perfect base for us as we visited family in the area for a week.
The house was clean, comfortable and as well appointed as you could hope for and just a great place to relax at the end of each day.
Its a little off the beaten track, so it really did feel like an escape - so very quiet and away from it all, with a great view across the countryside. We will definitely be booking again for future visits to family who live in this part of the world.
Clare was a fantastic host - thank you for letting us stay at the Cottage. It really is a superb place!

From the minute you drive down the country lanes you are transported to an idyllic location.
What a fabulous property, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The views from the sitting room were stunning, I watched the sun rising from over the hills and it felt like I was in a painting!
I cannot recommend highly enough, thank you for a great stay

The diary is an absolutely stunning property with everything you could possibly need, the photos do not do the dairy justice, we had a problem with the dvd not working I popped over to Claire she came to have a look, and it seemed it had broken, she got a new one for us the next day, the dairy was also decorated for Christmas which was lovely.
The bed was also so comfy and view from the window was just beautiful. I would definitely recommend the dairy the heating system kept us lovely and warm as well
Thank you Claire

Very comfortable and well finished, with everything you need on hand.
Bed comfortable and very peaceful location. We used it as a base to visit family in the area and it was great. If you're not used to narrow lanes beware! fortunately we knew the area well but the roads could be challenging in bad weather.

Chose this property as it was close to a local wedding venue. Set in a beautiful location with idyllic views of the Staffordshire countryside, this is the property’s biggest selling point. The cottage served our needs (4 adults) but we did encounter a number of issues. The cottage was extremely hot (it was a very hot weekend) and we found it difficult to sleep as the bedroom windows did not open. There were a lot of flies in the property, this was probably due to the nearby cowsheds. The TV in the main bedroom did not work. The biggest issue is the bathrooms, the showers had either freezing cold or scalding hot water, it was impossible to get a suitable mix of both which
is unacceptable. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds contained only 1 pillow per person with no spares on offer. Overall, for the price the property was OK, but we did feel disappointed and would not return.

Absolutely perfect little cottage in beautiful surroundings with everything we needed, lovely views and pretty garden to enjoy. Photos don’t do it justice. The kids loved seeing the horses in the stables too! Highly recommend!
4.7
Great stay at a stunning - albeit quite remote - property.
Everything was spot-on - although double bed needs a much better, higher mattress as flush with top of bed sides.
4.7
Perfect cottage. Liked the two bathrooms. Very dog friendly. Friendly little hamlet. Didn’t know the area despite parents living nearby but lots to explore and do
4.7
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The location was ideal for our family of 4 attending a wedding at the Ashes wedding venue nearby.
Very clean, great ammenties.
Just be warned...we assumed the upstairs was one open plan area because the photos on the listing do not show otherwise. When in actual fact there are 3 separate sets of stairs leading to the lounge, dining and kitchen area respectively. With 2 small children just learning to walk this was not at all ideal. Yes, we found 2 sets of stair gates but this was not sufficient to cover all the stairs.

Comfortable sleeping arrangement with two bathrooms and separate rooms made this very appropriate for our purpose. Quiet place to enjoy exploring local interest and happenings during our week long stay. Kitchen adequately equip for meal prep and very comfortable lounge dining spaces. Ensure you read what is provided carefully as we needed to do a shower and extra toilet paper needs shop.
Clean and pleasant accommodation with amazing views and quiet outlooks!!!

The host was very helpful and made communication very easy. The Dairy is a delightful property, well equipped and very comfortable, in a beautiful area of countryside. I would happily recommend this property to friends. Thank you.

We enjoyed a really good stay here. It was a little more remote than I'd expected but that's my fault entirely. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and beautifully kept. There is an outside garden space, but not that was directly attached to the property which would have been better for us as we had our 2 dogs with us. Overall a great place to be with lovely walks nearby, it's just that you have to have your car as not on the edge of a village but you are really out in the countryside. Very lovely part of the world!
