About this apartment rental
Enjoy Exmoor from our delightful Riverside Apartments & Courtyard Cottage, idyllically situated in the National Trust village of Allerford alongside a shallow river over looking the Pack Horse bridge. From our doorstep discover the stunning countryside, coastline, moor, sea and pretty villages.
Although we have a non refund policy all cancellations will be reviewed.
The accommodation we offer is warm, cosy, centrally heated, tastefully decorated and well appointed. We have 1 large suite sleeping up to 4 people, 1 ground floor apartment sleeping 3 people, 2 further apartments sleeping 2 people & 1 Cottage sleeping up to 5 people.
Bridge View , Stable cottage & Wisteria Apt can all be hired together, allowing families and larger groups to holiday together but have there own personal space when required, Bridge View has a large Kitchen diner so eating together is possible and sitting socialsing in the very comfortable lounge with its balcony overlooking the Packhorse Bridge, is great for evening get together's ,watching the sun going down over the river and village.
The pretty courtyard also offers a great venue for your get togethers , with plenty of outside table and chairs along with a portable BBQ
The large grass garden lends itself for games, or chilling on relaxer chairs.

The village nestles under the Aller woods and is surrounded by countryside, with it's famous Pack Horse bridge, chocolate box cottages the village also offers a post office/general stores, licensed club, thatched school museum and a childrens play area.
Paths and bridleways lead to the sea at our neighbouring village of Bossington and picturesque Selworthy which boasts stunning views from its hillside location. The larger village of Porlock is 2 miles away where you will find pubs, restaurants and a variety of shops offering everything from local produce to books and antiques.
Within 5 miles is the seaside resort of Minehead, the home of the West Somerset steam railway and the medieval village of Dunster with it's Castle and Yarn Market. Lynton and Lynmouth is a stunning 12 mile drive across the coastland edge of the moor allowing you to experience the diverse landscape, dramatic coastline and wealth of wildlife including red deer, Exmoor ponies and a great variety of birds.
The Pack Horse is ideally located for everyone to explore and experience all there is to offer on Exmoor or just to relax in a piece of Englands unspoilt countryside.
