Leider gar nichts.

beautiful building and room
Breakfast - not very good value for money. Limited choices.

Quaint, converted house. Bed comfortable. The one staff member was very helpful.
A lot of stairs to the attic room. Small bathroom jammed in. No tea or coffee in the room.

Just beautiful! Room, house, garden… beautiful villa! And incredibly helpful girl working at the reception, many thanks again for your help with moving our reservation!
Breakfast. This is the only thing i was really disappointed with. Nothing to eat for a gluten intolerant person and poor choice generally. Just don’t take it and go have breakfast somewhere in Bordeaux.

Host was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with her local knowledge of tours and restaurants
Room a bit smaller than we had expected, but still well appointed and comfortable.

Fantastic accommodation. Centrally located in a quiet residential area 10 minute walk from restaurants/cafes/shops.
Excellent recommendations by host (and owner).
Our room was very comfortable, as was breakfast in the morning

Hotel was great - very well situated, room was spacious and clean, staff were really helpful
It would be really good if they had tea and coffee making facilities in the room and if they had separate shampoo, conditioner and shower gel rather than an all in one.

easy walk to Bordeaux centre. staff super helpful and friendly.
staircase steep to carry luggage up, but not unexpected for a French villa.

The location , very helpful owner and beautiful building

Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Nice breakfast room overlooking attractive garden. Breakfast so- so. Lounge area pleasant. Staff helpful and polite.
Room smaller than expected. Bathroom very small with shower over the bath with no handrail or anti slip map. Toilet floor needed cleaning! Access to room not good for older visitors - steep steps.

A fine architectural gem that has been sympathetically modernized.
Charming, comfortable and calm.

The style, the deco, very comfortable.
Minimum issue with the shower, is very close to the wall but is not an issue

Location is just of the main downtown area and is a short waLK INTO TOWN
THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE MAKE THE ACCOMMODATION LOOK MUCH NICER THAN IT IT. IT IS QUITE OLD AND OVERPRICED

- the location is great, calm and well placed for a citytrip
- beautiful building
- friendly staff assisting well with our plans and excursions
- hygiene was of an abominable condition, dirty pillows & sheets and the bed itself as well just as the staircase and overall interior which clearly don’t get a lot of attention. When arriving in our room we had no clean towels (but they were quickly given upon simple demand), the day after the trash bin was not emptied) the fact we never saw anyone from the cleaning staff and that other guests in their reviews complained about exactly the same only emphasises our worries. This is certainly below the standards one could expect from such a high rated establishment.
- very uncomfortable beds, old and dirty mattresses that don’t give the necessary support for one of us
- the breakfast: adequate in offer but disappointing in its details (hard boiled in stead of soft boiled egg, watery cappuccino, butter that was over time)

Helen and her staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was beautiful, quiet and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Very good air-conditioning .
There was nothing I didn't like about this property.

spacious room with nice antique style decoration
the hot water did not work well it wasn’t very hot, we informed the staff but she didn’t do anything or updated us. the next day we complain again and the other staff was more helpful & fix it right away.

A beautiful old house with a great history. Newly renovated to very high standard. Our room was very big, very clean and the beds very confortable. It is situated near the city center, 10-15 walk, but very quiet. We stayed there for 5 nights so a little variety at breakfast would of being nice.
A little more variety at breakfast would be nice.

Beautiful house, very clean. Helpful young man at morning reception
Sunday arrival debutante staff, pleasant but inexperienced. not told needed re entry code to get in when we went out and had to bang hard on the door for 6 minutes to get back in at 3.30pm. Requested bath but allocated shower, room upgrade 30 euros extra, agreed and moved rooms. Building deserted at 9pm still no hot water but no one to ask. No hot water our entire stay despite telling 2 staff they could not fix it although did try. Burnt croissants at breakfast. They did take 30 euros off bill when asked as no hot water but should have done more.

The decor is very grand and elegant. Front desk Marie is a gem for this place. She is super helpful and all our needs and queries are attended to swiftly. She recommended many good places to eat and see, which highlighted our trip beyond our expectation.

Great people. Helen spent 45 minutes preparing a personalized map for us.
