لاتوجد غسالة لان المسكن بالكامل خشبي صدور أصوات عند المشي على ارضية الشقة او الستخدام الدرج غرفة الجلوس باردة ولاتوجد مدفأة (كل الغرف بها مدفأة)

Stunning location set in magical gardens with views across the lagoon. Everything we needed down to small thoughtful details was provided. And the place was sparkling clean and serviced every day (BBQ cleaned out was a nice touch) and at no extra charge. The owners and staff were friendly and always responded promptly to any queries we had.

Wonderful lodge, stunning views, highly recommended.

Wonderful lodge set in beautiful gardens with great attention to detail, lacking nothing. Fabulous cooker and fridge freezer. Lovely bedroom and most stunning views to wake up to up to . Of 6 accommodations, by far our favourite.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Felt as though we were staying in a forest.

Our accommodation was equipped with an inverter to ensure that load shedding didn't affect our stay. The view from the porch over the lagoon was amazing. The accommodation is private and secluded from the rest of the town, ensuring peace and quiet during our stay.

Nothing negative to add, just a note for future visitors: ensure that your vehicle is able to drive up a very steep driveway, especially after it rained, otherwise wait for the driveway to dry before leaving.

A very homely cabin with breathtaking views. Will definitely stay here again.

Nothing can describe how breathtaking view of the lagoon is. The facility has back-up for loadshedding. Also, the host was very generous and always willing to help with anything.

Super vieuw lodge

Uniek uitzicht, groot ruim proper vakantiehuis met veel privacy. Konden gebruik maken van de BBQ die klaar stond voor gebruik. Goede wifi zelfs bij stroomuitval wat overal geregeld voorkomt.

Miste soms wel airco.

Wonderful Stay & Hosts

A gorgeous spot in Knysna! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed star gazing during the load-shedding. Also, a perk is that the WiFi and TV still work during load-shedding. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, and we felt very safe during our stay. The hosts were also kind enough to let us check out later than originally planned. Truly, a wonderful spot.

Private chalet with a stunning view

We stayed in the Sunbird chalet, which was completely private and had a stunning view. The chalet was well equipped, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. We had an undercover braai area which was great as it rained 3 days straight.

Spacious, well equipped, jungle vibes and nice view

We enjoyed our stay at Big Tree House lodge. The house was really big, well equipped with a terrace and a nice view. There is a installed filter at the water pipe so water is drinkable. Wifi worked very well. Private secured parking. Communication with the owner was easy. They do not have laundry service but there is a laundry 3 min away.

Beautiful and spacious property for a family

The property was very spacious and had a beautiful view. Everything about this place was very good. They had smart Tv so you can watch Netflix. The owners were very friendly n helpful. It was a comfortable stay apart from the cold weather. The housekeeping was daily . This property is on the other side of waterfront area but not too far just a 10min drive away. There were supermarkets n restaurants nearby as well.

The parking is bit uphill and tricky. But I feel the whole town is like that. Secondly I felt the heaters should be more effective for the cold weather… it would have been cozier for us.

Its beautiful and clean. Great view. Value for money.

Its a steep hill/driveway and a uncomfortable walk to the room, especially with luggage.my husband had a fall at the stairs while carrying the bags to to room and hurt his back and ankle so just bare that in mind when booking. But the room itself was perfect and the view amazing.

We had a great stay and would definitely go back. Highly Recommend!

We stayed in the “sunbird” cabin. It was spacious, comfortable and well thought out. It had all the facilities listed on the booking.com website and gave us the privacy and “alone time” we were looking for. The hosts were friendly and hands on whenever we needed assistance. They accommodate loadshedding as well, by use of an inverter in the cabin (we did not expect this) and a gas stove and oven. The Wi-Fi did not disappoint either!

This may not necessarily relate to the property itself but because it was quite cold in the area and inside the cabin itself - we would’ve preferred heaters that heated the place up a bit more because we barely felt the heat radiated by the ones currently on the property. Nonetheless, we’ll remember to pack warmer next time.

Exceptional

Wow. From the minute we arrived at the lodge, my family and I were blown away. The location, the premises and cottages were all just perfect. The owners are delightful people that accommodated me with my requests. We had the pleasure of staying in the Sunbird cottage while my parents were in the Protea cottage. On the drive up from Cape Town we experienced heavy rains all through the weekend. We were worried that the cottages were going to be a bit chilly but they are really well insulated and the heaters provided were beyond adequate for myself, wife and my 2 year old son. Although we had rainy weather all weekend, staying at the Big tree house Lodge was absolutely breathtaking. Our only regret is that our visit was so short. We will definitely be back soon!

Close to everything yet very private

You could easily spend weeks here. Spacious houses surrounded by lush vegetation. Beautiful view. Very private.

Everything was fine. A note to future guests: there is no salt, pepper or cooking oil available, so don't forget to bring your own!

We had a awesome stay. Very very nice view on the lagoon. Nice kitchen with a weber grill outside. We had a big room with comfy beds. Full equiped kitchen and very clean.
