Breakfast was ok. The check in and the check out when very smooth and the staff were very accommodating. For the most part we had a nice time.
The lunches at the main dinning restaurant and the dinners had only exotic cuisine and no common dishes. The beach was not kept up as good was it was the last time we were there. The shopping trip we signed up for was not very good.

Road noise, with many units to choose from, they put many people next to the road.. Told us that they were renovating other units. No one was working on them. We moved 3 times at Couples Swept Away and then moved to Couples Negril. We lost a day moving, then our stay was good.
5.0
The food and the location

Stunning resort and beach. tasty food. most staff was really friendly.
The a la carte evenings at the restaurant were a let down. some of the staff were really unfriendly, not even looking at you or acknowledging your assistance. the room was quite dark.
5.0
The resort itself and the unpretentiousness
No room service but guess thats the style

The resort is located on a beautiful white sandy beach perfect for swimming, strolling, relaxing in a shade. The beach equipped with plenty of lounge chairs with floating matrasses suitable for use in the water. There are plenty of fresh towels available at the beach. Beautiful sunsets!
The food selection at the buffet is outstanding!
The rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly, ready to help and make your stay more enjoyable.
The transportation from/to the airport was easy to arrange (just contact the resort one weeks before departure). It takes about 2 hours.
What surprised us the most was the entertainment. It was much better than we have expected.
The rooms' furniture needs updating, but I hope you're not getting there to admire the furniture :)

Couples Swept Away is located on the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. The food was great. The property has a jungle-like vibe and is very well tended. The padded beach chairs are very comfortable.
The property is a little dated and needs a refresh. At times the food service was not great. We booked an atrium room as we love the big terrace surrounded by trees .This room request did not get to CSA and our check in was lengthy. Our first room ws very noisy( located near the Palms restaurant and construction next door ).Another room was found for us after a few days which was much quieter.

was a lonely hotel beautiful beach
the room was a bit dank but just cause of the atmosphere. the food could have been a bit better but was good value for money

Friendly staff, lots of activities to do on resort
Bathroom tile (floor and wall) and bedroom tile are dated. Would have liked more options for breakfast regarding restaurants and room service. Shopping trip did not include stores, as expected, it was a place where the locals setup their stuff in something similar to an outside storage building and they all pretty much hadvthe same items.

Everything was exceptional! From the delicious food, to the extremely kind, accommodating staff, to the beautiful resort and comfortable atmosphere, it was amazing. This was our 2nd time at this resort for our 3rd wedding anniversary and this time our 6th wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back. It is, hands down, the BEST beach I have ever seen or been on. Monique and Stacy were excellent at Patios for breakfast. Romain was fantastic at dinner. We adored Hakeem at the pool bar by the grill. He was awesome. Made some friends while on this trip as well. Made memories to last a lifetime.
There were only a couple things that stand out that could use improvement. During our sunset catamaran cruise, I wanted to use the slide. The guide said we had to get wet first and swim to the cave. Once we all started getting back on the boat, no one mentioned that we could slide (it was not offered), and the next thing I knew the motor started and we were heading back. Secondly, sunset happened as we were docking and exiting the catamaran. In 2019, when we did this same cruise, the sunset was actually while we were still cruising back. This time it felt really rushed, and we really wanted to take our time and enjoy the sunset. We felt like everyone was getting off the boat, and that is what was expected. I feel they could have slowed the journey down a bit so that we could enjoy the sunset at sea. Thirdly, we really feel that the buffet should allow anyone who went on the catamaran cruise to eat after they return. We were turned away for dress code reasons. We were fully covered, but still a little wet, and my husband had on a muscle shirt. Our room was all the way by Patios restaurant. We were not going to walk all the way back to the room, then all the way back to the buffet at the Palms after all the Rum Punch. We needed to eat. Luckily, we were able to get into the Patios return customer dinner.

Excellent location at the best spot of Negril’s beach. Great service. The quality of the food was very good. I liked the workout facilities and all the water sports. The tropical landscape was mature and fabulous. We lucked out and had the best beach party helping the resort celebrate its 23rd anniversary.
The property could use a little update in the rooms and pathways. The beach grill did not appear very healthy or attractive. The swim up bar- pool also seemed dated and potentially dirty. I avoided this areas of the resort.

Staff was great.
Beaches were clean.
Rooms were clean.
Breakfast was good
additional omelet station would have been helpful.
more local foods would have been nice as well, local music pumping through speakers everywhere, but no local foods!
Don't get me in mood and disappoint me

The beach (although that is hardly something the hotel can take credit for). The fact there are lots of adorable stray kittens on the property who, for the most part, look well cared for. Room service was good, the bedrooms are the only part of the property they could keep clean - housekeeping in general seemed to be most competent staff in the place.
Maybe this hotel was nice a few years ago, but these days saying it is tired would be an understatment.
The restaurants, whilst they try to look smart are something of a by-gone era. The food is average save for the breakfast (which was terrible). Some staff excel but the majority are disinterested and judging by the crowd this place attracts, I can see why. The people may have been the worst part of the experience, if you have ever seen the UK TV show "Benidorm", it might help you decide if this place is for you. More importantly, the hotel was filthy. We never saw a single person cleaning the exterior areas and the sunloungers were so grotty we actually bought disinfectant and cleaned them ourselves. Our room, whilst clean (the housekeepers were good) was a hut with no glass, so you could hear the villa underneath take a shower and much much more.
Overall, I am gutted I spent so much money staying here. The price does not match the property and if wasn't for the kittens and beautiful beach, I probably would have checked out as soon as I arrived.

Location was great! Room was always cleaned to a high standard ( thanks Allison). Staff in general were attentive and friendly barring a few. Thanks to Nicoy for his drink service beachside (ur a legend mate!). Couples Swept away definitely operate at a high standard and was worth every pound!
It would have lovely to have more jamaican dishes on the menu. Having said that the ladies in the Palm restaurant delivered exceptional service (Georgia Jennifer , Ashley and Leanne) thanks ladies for the laughs too!
Our spa experience was great but it would have been lovely to have more treatment options available
