I just love staying here. The spa facilities, the staff so welcoming 🙏
4.4
Enjoyed the breakfasts, the free use of the Spa facilities: jacuzzi, sauna, pool. Room was spacious and clean, possible to bring car near to room to unload and then park back in main car park. Only about 10 minutes to Ledbury for evening meals. Talbot looked after us for this trip, we used the Prince of Wales on our previous trip, both able to deal with food allergies.
Leaving!

Great location.
Breakfast

The rooms are well appointed and very clean, the breakfast nice and the staff helpful and friendly. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and a good size. The surrounding area is very pretty.
Unfortunately there was an issue with no hot water, however this was resolved and well handled with a partial refund thank you.
I would just like to highlight the following useful information for fellow travelers
1. There are large ceiling lights with bright green LED 'exit/emergency' bulbs. In my room this light bathed my bed and meant I slept poorly. The hotel say there is nothing can be done so I would say not a hotel for light sensitive folks.
2. The opening times of the licsened café (it's not a bar really) are not correct in the printed material in the room. We arrived Saturday and food stopped being served at 3.30pm and drinks at 6.30pm
3. As it says on the website food is not served in the evening (or after lunch) although some cakes and savouries were available for sale in the café during opening times. There is nowhere in walking distance so it's either a designated driver/taxi or as we did buy food and drink from the nearby Tesco and have in your room or at the small garden table outside some of the rooms. Take a cooler box/bag if you decide on this option as there is no fridge in the rooms.
4. We were unable to have any treatments as the lady was not working - perhaps if you want a treatment it would be wise to book ahead - we couldn't see anywhere to book on the website so I would suggest calling in advance of your stay.
This is really more of a B&B with some nice facilities than a resort which offers everything you need on site without the need to leave.
I suggest adding to the bedrooms
A fridge
Full-length mirror
Tissues
Hope this is helpful!

Friendly staff, great location, super breakfast and lovely swimming pool.

We liked the whole facility as it was; our room, the environment, the staff, the sauna, the jacuzzi, everything :-)

Really lovely, would definitely recommend

Was a lovely place to stay. All new!!!
It needs somewhere to eat on an evening. We got there and hadn't eaten, and there was nowhere to eat in the evening.

The location and property is wonderful. The photos we had seen did not do the property justice. The family room was incredibly spacious and the spa facilities are excellent. We made use of the golf driving range also, making a one night stay feel like a wonderful mini break. All the staff were friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcomed.

friendly staff, tasty food, quality bed and spa
nothing

Room was large for a small double. Pool was bigger then expected, and very clean. Staff were attentive and lovely.
Accessibility of rooms, lots of outside stairs. Not good with heavy bags.

the property was very clean and it was easy to find your way around. the receptionist was extremely respectful, friendly, and informative. The pool was just right and we were able to have a lovely swim, the sauna and hot tub were also just right. The rooms are a good size and the bed was just right for me. Breakfast was included in our option and served until 10:30. which was wonderful.
The gym and pool were well laid out. the floor was quite slippery in spots. Access to the pool was via a ladder which makes access difficult for larger people or those with limited mobility. also there wasn’t a spinner to dry suits.

bedroom was lovely and spacious and warm, December. cooked breakfast excellent.
raining so you had to cross over from one building to another for reception, bar, breakfast. sporty decor in bar rather than luxurious. but modern.

Everything was delightful and staff couldn't have been friendlier. The spa facilities were also brilliant, while not being too busy. I wish I'd had enough time to try out the gym.

Everything about the stay exceeded expectations. Beautiful room (booked executive suite and we’re treated to honeymoon suite!!). Staff were VERY friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome.
The facilities were immaculately clean and great condition, the gym was amazing and completely empty!!
There was no where to getting food in the evening HOWEVER we had been made aware of this beforehand and on arrival. Plus, there is a renovation happening to create a restaurant for the future.

the property was very well maintained, and absolutely gorgeous!

Had the single room as just there for 1 night on a work trip. There was plenty of space, decent wifi and a very comfortable bed, medium to soft which suits me perfectly. Staff very friendly and accommodating, I arrived later than the suggested arrival time if by 7pm, but the spa reception was still open and they attended to me without issue. I didn't eat there at night (they don't do evening food) and just needed a takeaway coffee and toast in the morning, no problem for them, they wrapped my toast up and sorted me a coffee to go. The whole place was absolutely spotless, and the room and bathroom had a lovely spa like scent to them. There wasn't a blade of grass out of place or a weed to be seen in the gaps in the pavement, and there were a few very friendly and well behaved dogs being walked in the grounds, so I got to give a few pats to them so all in all I was very happy there and would stay again.
Nothing, it was all good.

A relaxed rural setting close to historic Ledbury. Great facilities including spa and on-site restaurant, with clean, comfortable rooms and plenty of parking. Fabulous customer service and a warm welcome from Mandy on reception.
Nothing; we couldn't fault our stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and the room/area was absolutely spotless. I hadn't realised that these were just 'rooms' in a golf course location and that it wasn't a hotel. The rooms were lovely, but if you are expecting 'hotel services' you may be a little disappointed. The breakfast (in the golf clubhouse) was lovely, but it was ordering it in a cafe setting and not a standard hotel spread. The staff all tried really hard to please us.
The rooms were lovely and quiet and quite large. Whilst there wasn't any air conditioning, a large upright fan was supplied.
I was slightly disappointed when told there wouldn't be any staff on duty overnight. I was given a telephone number of the security if I needed anything. I was not aware that this wasn't a 'hotel' - perhaps that was my fault for not reading the description properly! The bedding was a little 'scratchy' - hotels tend to use quite high quality linens so that they last, but these sheets weren't the best. The pillows were also quite hard.

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, good use of facilities and a good location for our visits to three counties.

Small room but still big enough for two for one night, bathroom only big enough for one as the shower was in an awkward position to the door

Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely location.
