We were a party of 6 travelling with friends and this “home away from home” was perfect! It had character and yet managed to slip in the modern conveniences we all enjoy so much.
George was a great host…within minutes of arriving he was checking to make sure everything was okay.
Thank you for everything!

We could not have chosen a better location for this lovely family trip. Just steps from town centre and you get to the cottage around the corner and it is peaceful and quiet. The host is very responsive and accommodating and the cottage itself was amazing. Absolutely recommend!!

We had a really enjoyable stay at this property. It is ideally located for days out wandering around Bourton-on-the-water (where there is lots to see and do / places to eat) and as a base for day trips out in and around the Cotswolds. The property was very clean and well set up for holiday guests - a really great place to stay.

This charming cottage is amazing! The beds were so comfortable and the location is perfect, just one house away from the beautiful Windswept River. It slept our family of 8 perfectly and George was always quick to answer any questions we had or offer suggestions on dining and hiking. I'll tell everyone I know to stay here!

We stayed four nights at this wonderful cottage. The location was absolutely perfect and very close to the water. We had two cars and no issues parking one car in the driveway and the other on the street. George was an excellent host. All in all it was a relaxing time and a perfect stay.

Lovely property, fabulous location
The property is spacious, modern and well equipped. Plenty of room for a family of 5 and all the baby extras. It was spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival. George was a pleasure deal with and let us check in early, which was great with young children. We had an issue during our stay but he dealt with it swiftly. The children loved being in Bourton and paddling in the river, which was just at the end of the road. Our only criticism was that the entrance to the drive is not big enough to comfortably pull into and impossible for a large car to fit. We parked just outside on the road so not a major issue but would have preferred the car off the road.

Birthday celebrations with family
My family and I had a wonderful long weekend at Craigmoor Cottage last weekend to celebrate my Birthday. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard throughout and has everything you could possibly need. It was also immaculately clean.
The location of Craigmoor is perfect as it’s only a 30 second walk away from the river, shops, restaurants and pubs.
George was very accommodating, answered all our questions and kept in regular contact to make sure we were happy and had all we needed.
I could not fault our weekend and my family and I would love to return again soon.
I cannot recommend this house highly enough.
Thank you George.

50th Birthday Celebration
Wow, what an amazing cottage Craigmoor is!
We returned yesterday from a long weekend at Craigmoor where we went to celebrate my birthday with family. There were 8 of us staying at the cottage which is very spacious and decorated to the highest standard. Everything has been thought of and is supplied. The cottage was very clean, rooms all charming. George the owner was unbelievably helpful, from booking, directions, checking in procedure etc. always contactable for any questions we had.
The location of Craigmoor is perfect, literally 30 seconds walk from the river, village and all the attractions in Bourton-on -the -Water. Everything is walkable so don't need to drive, parking was not an issue either. Really quiet & peaceful at the cottage too, considering how close you are to all the teahouses, ice cream parlours and restaurants.
I really could not fault our weekend, it was an idyllic setting to celebrate a special Birthday.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Craigmoor Cottage.
Thanks George !

Fabulously updated but still Cotswold charming!
George, the owner, is great! All you need from him without any hovering. And the property is the best of both worlds: Up-to-date finishes, furnishings, appliances without losing the old Cotswold charm. Simply the best Home Away experience we have had. Wow! Highly recommend--except when we want to return. :)

An unbelievable property!
We had a wonderful stay at Craigmoor Cottage this week for the Cheltenham Festival. A perfect spot for our family of 4. Everything in good working order and immaculately clean. George was so accommodating of our arrival time and communicated very quickly on all of our questions. The home is very well located for all of the lovely things to do in town. Parking a bit tricky if you have a larger car but other than that everything was divine.

lovely cottage, well equipped and in a great location. moments from the River and a lovely stroll into the village. Bedding, towels, fixtures and fittings all of the highest standard. Great holiday home!
Great location and perfect place to stay for a lazy weekend/week away. House is tastefully decorated and furnished. All very fresh, clean and had everything we needed. Nice personal touches, from George the owner, such as the painting of the house as a gift. Much appreciated. Thank you.

Well maintained and comfortable property, great location
The property has been restored to a high standard and has all amenities we required on a long weekend break for the extended family. Ceilings are low in some rooms upstairs but overall the cottage is very comfortable. The location is great with local shops (bakers, cafes, etc) a short and pleasant walk away. Parking is very tight and while there is space in the drive for one car the road outside is very narrow and, when we were there, was congested with other cars seeking free parking. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was diligent in making sure we checked in successfully and had everything we needed.

A stunningly beautiful has with lots of character but all the modern conveniences, perfect location
We had a fantastic stay in Bourton-on-the-water which was in a large part due to the character and location of this house. It is beautifully decorated with charming features in every room and every modern appliance you need. My husband and I started every morning strolling the five minute walk across the river at the end of the street to the bakery to pick up tea and fresh scones which we’d then eat outside in the front garden. Our three children loved the bedrooms at the top floor of the house and also the charming bunk bed room. They also loved eating breakfast at the modern kitchen counter. When we finished dining and wandering in town in the evenings it was so easy and peaceful to just walk home and relax in the beautiful living room.
The owner was very helpful to me making the booking from overseas and made this process, as well as checking in very easy.
I can’t recommend the house highly enough !
