Location. Air conditioning
Staff spoke minimal English — If any at all. There as no one to talk to about recommendations or tours. It was difficult to meet other people. The rooms had windows but no screen so because it was so hot you needed to close the shutters, therefore it was a dark room with no outside lighting.

Location and service.
Bathroom very small.

The hotel is safe and secure, very clean, prices are fair and the location is good.
I didn’t like the staff turning off the air conditioning and returning back to a hot room after being out all day exhausted and sweating. This isn’t good practice which made it uncomfortable and take time for the room to cool down. Breakfast was ok, wish it had a more of a selection for breakfast and orange juice would be nice!

The staff was extremely welcoming and nice! They offered help everytime I had questions. Plus the offered tours that helped me enjoy my short time in Cartagena as much as possible.
Moreover, the location of the hotel is in the center of Getsemaní, which allowed me to walk everywhere in less than 10 minutes
Because the hotel is in the center of Getsemaní, there is a lot of noise in the night. However, I guess that this happens in almost every hotel in the area

very loud, breakfast was very simple

room size, especially the bathroom size. I swear the picture showed a much larger room.

Clean. Close to shops and restaurants. Lots of people. Locals and foreign.
Congested area. Tight spaces.

location is good
Too much noise coming from the bars and streets
there is no elevator
7.0 / 10.0
can be loud due to a rooftop bar right opposite of the rooms. There is an aisle walk way for all visitors that passes by every room so other people pass right in front of your room`s door and window. The "Balcony" can`t be used therefore.

Room was really nice, very private and in a very central location.
Not an issue for us but there are a lot of stairs (even inside the room) so it is worth being aware if this concerns you.
The room is so loud at night until early hours of the morning so it is very difficult to sleep (we had the very top room)

excellent location to many bars, clubs, and restaurants. the entire old town (getsemani, El centro and San Diego) is walkable which I didn’t expect. very nice hosts, but my lack of Spanish made communication a touch challenging. but that is on me, not them. awesome salsa bars just a few blocks away. felt very safe.

Good location and nice room. Great Wi-Fi connection
Only cold water in the shower. Breakfast was very basic, toast with cheese and ham

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, nice comfortable room. We came back for a second time! Laundry service was also very nice.
If you can't sleep when there is much noise, this place is in the middle of the centre and therefore there is quite a lot of noise. For us, this was not a problem.

Location is perfect in the center of Cartagena in Getsemani, rooms are small but comfortable, clean and reception staff is very nice.
I am surprised to see that other guests didnt mention that the hotel is surrounded with bars and noisy restaurant. We hear pretty much everything that is going on in the streets.

- nice room
- excellent location
- in the heart of Getsemani, but was nice and quiet after everything closed.
- a bit of a hassle getting your bags up and down the staircases, but nothing major.

Everything was fine!

Very good location but that also means very loud at night. Good air con, fan and TV. Staff did not speak any English but were very friendly and helpful. Terrace on the roof to hang out.
The noise was expected because of the location but you definitely need air plugs. The toilet bins were not emptied everyday although they would probably clean if you ask for it in Spanish.

Horror nights sleep, tremendous party noise all night.
Maybe was just because we stayed weekend.

Everything we asked for, really top notch. Central location, AC in rooms, very friendly member of staff preparing a tasty breakfast, very clean and tidy…
The noise from “Cabildo” is defeating and they have a live band most nights. If you’re planning to get some rest before 2:00am then bring earplugs…

The hotel is located right in the center of Getsemani which is great for exploring the place. The place is very clean and really safe. Staff is super friendly.
However, due to its central location it gets very noisy especially on the weekends until 4am. The staff was great and arranged a change of rooms for us which made is very content. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this place. If you like to party yourself or do not mind the noise, I can recommend the place

This is a budget hotel that is centrally located in Getsemani. It was an easy walk to the Walled City and other sights. It’s pretty bare bones but at the price, this is what you should expect. While the staff doesn’t speak much English, they tried to help as much as possible.
As many other reviews have noted, it is extremely noisy outside and you will hear music till 1am and all the street noises. Either you bring good ear plugs or plan to stay out partying anyways. It was tough to get a good night’s rest. The hotel lost water one of the days (for about 22 hours) which is inconvenient as all you want to do is shower after a hot humid day in Cartagena.

Great location in Getsemani; close to everything.
Very active neighborhood, which is good, but could be a bit noisy at night if you are a light sleeper.
Nice rooftop breakfast .
Clean room with hot water and good WiFi.
Rooms are a bit small, but didn’t matter since we only slept there.

7.0 / 10.0
The staff is very friendly and courteous, breakfast was delicious.
If you just need one night is a perfect stay.
Is on a noisy corner so is difficult to have a restful night.
The hotel itself is on a second floor and the stairs are steep, saying that, if you are not fit or have any kind of mobility issues is not a good idea to stay at this hotel.
