The Drumsheugh Gardens apartment is ideally located a walking distance away from the Princes Street - the main shopping area of the city. The apartment is wonderfully located just a walking distance away from all major city attractions, including the Castle, Scott Monument, Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace.

A funky place to have a bite to eat and enjoy a cocktail or few is the Canoe Tiki Den, on Melville Place. With quirky dishes, such as Belgian waffles with bacon, eggs and maple syrup, inventive cocktails and great staff this is definitely a place to go for dinner. Also, not too far away on Rose Street, is one of the oldest pubs in Edinburgh - The Auld Hundred, originally built in 18th century. Definitely worth a visit and a pint.
Edinburgh has something for everyone. Kids will love the outstanding Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh Castle, the Wax Museum or perhaps a ghost tour round the cobbled streets and closes of the historic old town. For lovers of culture there are many museums, galleries and theatres to be visited and during the month of August the city welcomes visitors from all over the world for the Edinburgh Festival and associated Fringe Festival. Guests can easily explore Edinburgh on foot, from the medieval old town with its many historic buildings of interest, to the New Town.

Incredible basement unit in a quiet neighborhood of Edinburgh.
The space is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked to have a comfortable extended stay.
Eddie was responsive to all our messages and we never felt wanting for anything at the home.
The walk to deans village is a fantastic plus point for the home and groceries were a short 8 mins walk away.
We were able to walk to all the attractions within 20-30mins. In the summer this was well worth the time.
Highly recommend the place for families looking for extended stay options in the city.

This is a quiet and lovely location just a ten minute walk from the excitement of the city. Several fine restaurants are within a short walking distance and there is plenty of nearby take out and two grocery stores.
The castle is only a 25 minute walk though much of it is up hill.

this was a lovely first stop on our first visit to scotland. i brought my 3 daughters (ages 22, 22, 29) and wanted to make sure we each had enough space. this place was great for all of us, and very nice neighborhood. internet speed was great for our phones. plenty of hot water and i enjoyed a good soak in the tub. basement level (steps were a little steep and slippery in rain), but still got a lot of natural light. very pretty!

Spacious apartment with plenty room for 2 adults and 4 teenagers.
It's situated near the city center which is quite nice.
The host was very kind and helpful, and replied swiftly.
I highly recommend this accomodation.

We liked the place but communicating with a third party was not as easy as when you just deal with VRBO. They need to let people know that. Besides that it was great.

We loved having such a large space to spread out in. All amenities provided, very comfortable beds, clean and well equiped. Having a parking space right by the back door was a huge plus. Overall a very positive experience. Thank you.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful and neighborhood was clean and safe. The house was also very clean and comfortable. It was very spacious for its city center location. Beds and linens were excellent quality. This house had everything that we needed for our family. The only difference from the listing was that we found it to be somewhat worn; the carpet, for example is very old. We also found the house quite chilly (16-17celsius). Nonetheless we really really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!!

6 Adults fit comfortably into this apartment which was appointed as advertised. Great location for walking to Pubs/Restaurants and grocery stores. 2 of us had to extend our visit one day due to a cancelled flight and the management company could not have been more accommodating to help make that happen. Overall great experience and visit to Edinburgh!

Good location to where we wanted to go.
Nice unit for five adults. We were about six blocks from the green bus line (once you figure the bus line routes out).

Absolutely Outstanding!
Drumsheugh Gardens is all you hope a rental will be. Beautifully decorated (you're welcome to do my home!), great location, spacious, comfortable furniture and immaculate! It has everything you could need. I could live there in a heartbeat. Our party of five had plenty of room. By all means, if this is available for your booking dates - grab it!

Short stay
Well equipped, great location, worked well for three couples. Only quibble : showers feeble and rather erratic . Also, a doormat for the front door would be a good idea- we worried about the carpet (one day was very wet

Nicely Appointed
Our group of 6 adults had plenty of room and the apartment is nicely appointed and the kitchen appears to be brand new. Close to everything, yet just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to have some quiet time.

Edinburgh west End
The 3 bedroom property had plenty of space for 6 adults. The manager was responsive to our needs. The issue with cold water in one shower was not resolved. Found the internet to be sufficient in the living room but not in the bedrooms. The kitchen, bathrooms and mattresses and bedding were great! Nice location, with restaurants and grocery store close by.

Great Location near the Castle and West End
Fantastic location and amenities for two couples to run in and out of. Local eateries within walking distance . Located on basement level with steep stairs, only negative (not for us but someone with limited mobility it could be a problem). Neat as a pin and easy to gain access, the host was wonderful. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful home near public transportation
The home was beautiful. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen well stocked. It was nice that there was a walk in shower for my mother in law. The bus stop was just around the corner too.

Great Choice for a Family Trip
The property was perfect for our family of six. It was extremely comfortable, clean, well appointed and spacious with plenty of room to gather. The apartment was far larger than it appeared in pictures. The location was ideal for walking around the city, an easy walk to Old Town and in New Town itself.

Ideal base for a city break
The apartment was extremely spacious and well equipped. It accommodated our family of six adults comfortably and we enjoyed our get-together, with space in the reception room to host a tea party for our local relatives.
The décor is restful, complimented by some fine period furniture, while the kitchen and bathrooms are modern and functional.
Shops, restaurants and transport links are within easy walking distance, so the cultural life of the city is easily accessible.

Great Location - Very Comfortable
Bedrooms were very large. Great family room and kitchen. Really good location. Only problem we had was trying to figure out how to turn the water on for the shower. (Hint: You have pull the string that is hanging from the bathroom ceiling...)

Well placed property
Brilliant stay in Edinburgh. Excellent flat enough room for 6 adults ( 3 couples) each having their own bathroom. Well stocked with all you could need. No need to take usual things like soap, washing up things, tea & coffee, sugar etc. Good selection of kitchen equipment if you want make your own food to eat in . Brilliant location, we walked to most venues. Really comfortable beds with warm bedding. We had a fab time. Hopefully this is constructive criticism, we had to share 1 hairdryer, would be nice to have one in each room ☺ , water pressure in showers was very low so a bit dribbling shower. Apart from that everything was great. Clean and tidy, well stocked, warm and comfortable. Would recommend to friends. Thank you.

Beautifully appointed large apartment central to Princes St and Royal Mile, downtown
Six adults shared very functional, spacious and nicely decorated apartment with three bedrooms and three baths. Main bath with only tub slight detraction. Kitchen nicely central to apartment with everything imaginable for light or complete meals. Comfortable sitting room. Parking an issue if more than one vehicle involved. Walked everywhere. Edinburgh's finest.
