The upstairs boasts two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a custom granite-topped vanity. Downstairs you'll find the bunk room, a full bathroom, and a laundry room with washer and dryer with all 3 rooms with air conditioning/heat.

Bring your boat (max 6000lb) to store in the boat house lift to keep it out of the water when not in use (please let us know after booking if you plan to bring a boat so we can trailer the boat currently using the lift).
There is covered parking for three vehicles under the two carports on property and additional driveway parking for many more vehicles. If you need room for your guests with RVs, the concrete driveway is long enough for RV parking and there are both 50A and 30A RV electric outlets, sewer (1), and water (2) connections for those additional guests who drive or tow their own home (additional fee of $50/night for up to 2 RVs).

SARGENT AREA
Sargent Beach is a short 3-mile drive, just across the bridge over the Intercoastal Waterway. Take a stroll on the beach, collect shells, or swim (at your own risk - no lifeguards) in the surf. Sargent is the best-kept secret on the Texas coast!
If you have a boat, there are a few public ramps at Wahoo’s Marina & Charlie's Bait Camp all within 1.5 miles. By boat, Wahoo’s Marina is 1 mile away and offers ethanol-free fuel on the water (Or fuel up at Texaco before launching your boat to save a few bucks). Another mile or so down the creek is the Caney "Y", the Intracoastal Waterway, and Mitchell's Cut with access to the Gulf and excellent fishing, especially on incoming/outgoing tides.
Local restaurants include The Crab Trap (our favorite) on the corner of FM 457 & FM 2611 (new location), Hookers Waterfront Grill (we love the fish tacos) next to the bridge (with boat slips), On the Corner Restaurant (ask for the Sargent Special for breakfast) on FM 457 just south of the Texaco, and two food trucks —Smokey Dan's BBQ and Flip Flop Paradise (try the Jasonnator if you’re really hungry!) — on FM 457. You can also get Hunt Brothers pizza to go at the Sargent Country Store at the S-curve coming into town.
Grocery shopping & beer/wine is available at Dollar General on FM 457 and convenience store items and beer/wine can be found at the Sargent Country Store and Texaco. The best liquor store in town is Coastal Liquor at the corner of FM 457 and FM 2611 just north of Sargent (you'll pass it coming into town). Don't miss the Sargent shopping area just south of FM 2611 on FM 457 that is only open on Saturdays to pick up some unique Sargent memorabilia, cigars, craft beers, and high end chocolate.
For history buffs, there are several historical markers in the area with Civil War era information. The area between the Brazos River and Colorado River, which includes Caney Creek, was part of Stephen F. Austin's original land grant from Mexico where Texas began. History surrounds you here, and there are several museums within a 1-hour drive, or venture slightly further and visit the historic ghost town of Indianola, one of the largest ports in the south until the town was abandoned and engulfed by the sea following two devastating hurricanes and a couple disease outbreaks. There is no lack of interesting information in the area for those who enjoy history!
Most of all, relax and enjoy your stay!

We stayed over Thanksgiving with three adults and two older children. The children enjoyed playing outdoors in the backyard, crabbing, and fishing off the pier. The kitchen and living room are spacious to enjoy time together with the family. The kitchen is well-equipped. The short drive to the beach allowed for additional fishing opportunities and quiet walks. Being able to bring our dog is a bonus.
This is our second time staying at this property.
Crabbing and fishing of the pier have been successful both times and are our boy's favorite activity.

The house was perfect and exactly what we needed for our stay. The location on the creek is just awesome. We even got a fishing trip in and caught some really nice reds and trout. We will definitely be back. And will book this house again. Our host was so accommodating to our needs.

We (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs) stayed for an extra long weekend and everything we wanted was onsite and available. Covered parking, expansive deck & dock, grill, beach toys, towels, crab traps, great wifi, etc. The entire place was clean and had clear instructions on how best to check out. The owners were available and responsive. Everything was great for a much needed getaway to fish, beach, eat, and drink!

Great location, had a great time, could not catch any keeper trout but raked in the crabs. Only problem was that one of the fishing lights was not working.
8.0 / 10.0
We had a good time, but probably wouldn't book it again due to some electrical issues, 2 fishing lights instead of the 4 advertised. Also the downstairs bunk / bedroom was unusable due to serious moisture issues and the odor of some type of fuel. The fishing was ok we caught some decent fish. If the above issues are fixed we would possibly book again.

Very clean and as it stated on website. Didn’t catch anything off the pier but just how it goes sometimes. Prompt response from owners and very easy to work with. We will be back.

The property was as described and provided many amenities. Working with Barbara was very easy and the whole process was smooth. We had a large group and the driveway provided plenty of parking. There was enough space for us to relax, fish, and cook. The extra fridge downstairs allowed us to store enough food for our larger group. The bugs outside were crazy but that is to be expected. The neighbors were very friendly, as well. Great stay.

Had everything we needed!
Being a family of 13, with kids from baby to 17, it can be hard to find a vacation spot for us. There was space for everyone. We really loved all the outdoor living space. We had a delightful time swimming at the beach, in the creek, and at Mitchell’s cut. We fished from the dock, caught 13 crabs that we caught and cooked with the provided crab traps, boiling pots, and nut crackers. I would highly recommend bringing your own boat. If I come back, which I hope to, I would bring our tube as I saw people tubing and kneeboarding up and down the creek. If we were going primarily to fish, I would go during the winter months and go to the bait shops early in the morning to get live shrimp. We didn’t catch much with the dead shrimp and fake bait. I read in some reviews that mosquitoes were bad. Due to very little rain there were very few mosquitoes during our stay. The host was responsive to all messages. The neighbors were friendly. I highly recommend!

Fun weekend.
We had a really great weekend at your property. The view was really nice and proximity to the beach was a plus. The upstairs is great but the bunk room down stairs was not usable for us due to the moldy smell and kids with Asthma. Made sleeping arrangements tight and one family member chose to drive back home due to that but we made the best of it. Kids had lots of fun fishing off the pier and one neighbor even gave us some crabs he caught. Crab fishing was great at this location. Property owner is really nice and quick to respond to messages. Overall it was a blast and I'm glad we booked. Thank you

Everything about the house was great, really comfortable, I went with my big family and the stay was super nice, we all had a great time. Our favorite part was fishing from the dock, we caught a lot of sand trout and croaker. The owners were also answering any one of my questions fast. This was a nice fishing vacation

Family vacation
We had a great family vacation with 9 people at this property!!!
The fishing dock provided the kids with plenty of opportunities to fish and crab. The short drive to the beach allowed for many beach visits. However, for beach access, you need a 4 wheel drive to get through. Otherwise, you can park on the street and walk down to the beach as well. The bunk bedroom downstairs was moist and stuffy when we arrived, but with the ac and dehumidifier running the moisture was controlled within a day. Allowing our later-arriving family members to sleep downstairs.
The porch upstairs provided the adults with plenty of space to relax and have a coffee in the morning. In addition, the downstairs patio provided shelter and space for corn hole games during rain and room to hang out as a group in the evening.
We recommend bringing mosquito foggers and using them in the evening. Regular mosquito spray only helped some of us during this high mosquito season.
The host communicated well with us throughout our stay.

Great time!! Our 2nd Visit
We had a good time with our family. However, due to the ways of nature the fishing was not good in the creek because rain causing flooding. However, we were able to book a day boat trip and caught our limit of speckled trout. The kids had a great time at the nearby beach and fishing of the house pier at night. We will certainly consider this property for our next family reunion on the coast. Thanks Jerry

Very nice home and a wonderful time!
My husband and I had been in Port Isabel and Port O’Connor with Sargent being our last stop. It was clean and ready for us with everything we needed! The weather did not cooperate the days before our arrival and kept us from using the boat lift, but Charlie’s Bait Shop’s boat ramp was near by. However the creek had dropped before we left and Barbara offered to bring pallets over for us to use the boat dock. We will definitely book this house again!!

Nauti Dreams Down Pours
We had a very enjoyable time staying at this rental. Very nice house. Only concern is the pair needs to be flat and not sloped or put handles or a rail just for safety reasons.Otherwise, all was great even though mother nature didn't cooperate, but it was still nice to get away to a nice place and relax.
The beds were super comfortable.
Also, would like to thank the owners for taking time out to try and solve the AC issues so late at night. That meant alot to us. Overall the stay was great and would like to rent again in the future.

The house and area both are very nice
Some construction was happening in the area from recent floods but overall it was a great place and allow our large family plenty of room. The boat lift was great to have and there is pleanty of parking since all family came from all different states and sides of Texas we had 7 cars/trucks and still could have parked a couple more if we needed to.

Our Stay at NautiDreams House
The house was very nice and the location on Caney Creek superb! The boat house with lift was of great benefit. The beach, Charlie’s Bait and Crab Trap Restaurant are all in very close proximity. The yard was spacious enough for tee ball with the kids and the provided gas grill and burner were perfect for our grilled hamburger supper and fish fry on the patio. We had a great time here! The dock needs a little repair which I understand is coming. We would definitely rent here again!

Weekend Fishing Trip
Owner responded quickly with all questions. We were counting on staying in 3rd bedroom. It was a bit too musty the first night to use. My wife also got bit by some insects in one of the beds. We notified the owner and he sent his cleaner very quickly to change sheets. No bites the next night. The 2nd floor was very nice and enjoyed the fishing all day and night on the dock.
