Spacious property and lovely balcony for private room. Comfy bed. Good food near by
Mosquitos keeping me up and a noisy fan. Lights were very dim

Nice, clean, comfortable place. Stylishly kitted out and had good toiletries etc. Very clean and had a good sized outdoor area (which we didn’t use in the end as a lot of mozzies!)
Located near a bar so there was a lot of noise at night. There is no sound proofing inside the building either, so the noise from other guests talking/moving around was quite intrusive late at night. Check in was via a tablet attached to another property nearby (but no directions were offered as to where that was) and after check in I had a message that I needed to do it again (with no reason given) which meant another trip out to the other place.

Room was clean and spacious in a good location. Sauna was great.
A convoluted sign-in process and not the best communication with regard to parking. Room was not marked 204 so we walked past the door marked 'private' many times.
4.2
The room is nice. Check in is a bit annoying as you have to go to a different building to self check in at an iPad. Easy enough but they could have a tablet at each entrance.
They kept our bags for 1 night as we did the cult king over Shimanami Kaido. The bags where left in a dorm environment in a lounge room, felt a bit worrying but Japan is so safe so we did not have any problems.
Where we got to leave our bags before and after check out
Aircon was noisy

We stayed in room 201, this Japanes room was spacious, clean and cozy. The only problem was the self check-in system .The tablet was hidden in a small box and the hostel entrence was also hard to find .The check-in process was like a treasure hunt challenge, I can't tell either I love it or hate it . Anyway it's an unforgetable experience. I love ONOMICHI !

Spacious
Well-equipped
Clean
Stylish
A bit expensive
It would be convenient if there was a washing machine
4.2
Unfortunately nothing.
The „hotel“ is in a red light district with prostitutes in the street all over.
4.2
Great location with plenty of places to eat in area.
4.2
spacious and comfortable. Roof terrace a real bonus
check in method rather difficult and confusing
4.2
Nice rooms, very clean, a lot of restaurants nearby.
Check-in was a little complicated as we had to go to a different location to do it.
4.2
Nice quirky place. The staff doesn't speak english but really try helping you out using Google translate. We had the private room at top of the small building. It has its own roof terras and great beds.
If you are tall like us: watch your head :-)
4.2
Room size was very nice and the balcony attached to the room was very pretty. Check-in/ out was convenient and contactless. Also there was a microwave in the hallway for common use.
It takes about 18min to walk from the train station which is ok. Also it is quite loud. You can hear the other guests in the hallway.
4.2
Great room, comfy beds, storage for bikes. Handy for places to eat. Great place to stay when cycling Shimanami Route.
Check in was a bit clunky as we had to go to the cabin and then back to the Inn.
4.2
Quiet. Big room.
Room was clean.
No bath.
Neighbors were noisy coming in at 2am.
4.2
intimate, small, clean and tidy.
it didn’t resemble the photo. it was difficult to check in and to find. there was a a lot of noise below the room. when I emailed about that the noise stopped soon after but I never received any communication back. toilet down hall but shower in the room
4.2
Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. The location is central to Onomichi and close to the shotengai with lots of shopping and restaurants.
4.2
great room for short stay to do Shinamani Kaido Bike Ride.
Sign in was a little complicated!
4.2
The room was super pretty, and the shower pressure and provided soaps were nice. The surrounding area is full of cute shops and restaurants, we had a great time exploring at night and in the morning. I want to come to Onomichi again!
4.2
Great private room including sauna! The team gas been also super helpful with lost & found.
4.2
Very clean and spacious room. We had a nice terrace (we didn't know in beforehand), which was nice.
The location was alright, about 20 minutes walk from the station, but close to some restaurants and bars.
4.2
good beds. water bottles provided.
Check in without mobile data was a burden. It’s at the door of other location where you are supposed to scan your paspoort on a tabled, on the street. use of 3 different pin codes required and confusing. The area has many shabby bars behind closed doors. The bars next door make loud noice at night. And the room isn’t exactly sound proof. The hotel exterior isn’t great. Inside it is not as spacious and comfortable as the pictures suggest. For a small hotel / guesthouse it is a pretty impersonal experience.

Check-in was so easy and convenient! The room was spacious, clean and modern. I loved the private terrace too!
4.2
Quiet, spacious tatami rooms
We were alone in the inn. It felt more like an Airbnb than a guesthouse
4.2
The location and the relaxing environment. We love the rooftop balcony to enjoy our breakfast here. :)

The room was very beautiful and very clean. I really recommend this hotel, very high quality for the price
4.2
Very clean and stylish. I was the only person staying - so had the house to myself. They also have Cabin for dormitories. The guest house is run by a group of restaurants, bars and cafe owners.
A 20 minute walk from the station, no staff at the guest house so you would have to make inquiries by phone or text. It would have been better if they’d told you that they could take care of your luggage at the cafe near the station.
