This property is so amazing! It was our honeymoon, and Flo's beautiful, historic, and very well-furnished apartment was our first stop. Flo was so welcoming, she met us at the apartment and gave us some information about Ostuni, where to go, etc. She has a tour guide business, speaks perfect English, and is a very lovely person. The location, both in Ostuni and in Puglia, was the best ever. We could walk to the Centro Storico in about ten minutes, and everything we needed was within walking distance. Ostuni is a gorgeous city, and everyone was very nice. We did not end up cooking much, but the kitchen is very well stocked, and we could have cooked all of our meals there if we wanted to. We also discovered that Flo's family produces organic olive oil, which we had the pleasure of not only having a tasting with Flo and Ginafranco, her husband, but also went and harvested olives in the glorious late October sunshine. We even got treated to a lovely meal al fresco at their beautiful spot! All in all, it was a perfect first week of our two week trip to Puglia. Our only regret is not going on a tour with Flo! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Filomena (a tour guide) and GianFranco (an expert agronomist) were wonderful hosts. They knew Ostuni and the surrounding areas inside out, and responded promptly to any request. The apartment is located in the historic center, in a charming, quiet small alley typical of Ostuni, yet barely 5 min from the action in the main square, Piazza della Liberta, and all the cafes, restaurants, and stores you can think of. Once I got my bearings, I typically started my day with fresh cornettos from the bakery around the corner, explored a bit the old city and beaches nearby (approx. 15 min away by car), followed by a glass of wine in late afternoon and a stroll in the piazza before dinner in one of the many restaurants and pizzerias. The apartment is exactly as described in the ad, bright, cosy, smartly organized by the owners with all the needed amenities, and perfect for a small family or couple. A terrace, next to the bedroom, offers a splendid view of Ostuni and the sea in the distance, and is a refuge for lazy relaxation with a drink or dinner with friends. Parking is fairly easy on the street, but I would advise renting a small to mid-size car. My only regret is that I did not stay longer.

Lovely apartment, well situated for visiting the old town. Marina Filomema was a great host and recommended places to visit as well as a very reliable taxi service.

On 3 floors, old house with very steep stairs. Lovely atmospheric place. Well equipped and comfy bed. Sun area on roof. Slightly primitive but effective shower arrangements. Owner delightful and quick to sort out any issues we had over a 2 week stay.

A gracious and helpful hostess who provided much useful information and support. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ostuni and have no doubt that we will return there. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for our needs with shopping and cafes and restaurants close by. We had no difficulty in Parking a " somewhat too big" Peugeot estate car and in accessing the main roads and autostrada. The weather in March was pleasantly warm and ideal for walking around the local attractions

The apartment was charming and comfortable. It wasn't far from the cathedral and some very reasonable restaurants. We had a car and parking was a little tight, but overall, not difficult. From Ostuni it was a short trip to Alberobello and several other sites we'd wanted to see. When we experienced a bit of an Internet access issue, the owner saw to its resolution quickly and cheerfully. I recommend this apartment highly.
This may sound silly, but it was very nice to be able to do my laundry and hang it up on the terrace.

Marina met us at the Piazza della Liberta and took us to our rental which was just off Via Roma in Ostuni. The location is fantastic, just walk down the hill to the Piazza where you can enjoy the Italian lifestyle to its fullest! The Piazza is full of caffes,, gelato shops, and lots of things to see and do. The home is best for a couple or a couple with two young kids. The bedroom is on the second floor where the half bath is located. The living room has a pull-out bed which would be good for kids and the full bath is off the living room. We made meals easily when we were too tired to go out. Marina has stocked her home with everything you could possibly need to prepare your own meals. The stairs are kind of steep, but every other home we saw had steep stairs as well. We're both 70 and didn't have much of a problem with them. The large bed shown in the photo is very comfortable. While there are two very nice televisions, all programs were in Italian, we are in their country after all! I'm sure if you were English speaking and asked Marina to include an English speaking channel, she could arrange that for you if you felt that you needed one. Marina met us as planned, helped us with our luggage, got us settled, and sat with us for over an hour getting us acclimated to the area. The latter helped us enormously as this was our first visit to the area. Marina was terrific and you should feel comfortable in renting her home as she is professional, thoughtful, and extremely helpful. We've only been home two days and I miss our Italian home already! Ostuni and the surrounding towns are so wonderful and Marina's home in Ostuni is the perfect place from which to explore Pulgia! Thank you, Marina, for your kindness and knowledge!

The apartment is located in a small and quiet street only 3 minutes by foot from the historical centre of Ostuni. It is equipped with nearly everything you need, including a washing machine, kitchenware and a roof terrace, and everything is very clean. The wifi was working well.
Ostuni is a charming and beautiful small town and a good starting point for exploring Puglia!
The owner, Marina, is very kind and helpful!

What a wonderful stay, highlighted by this very charming home. You couldn't ask for a better location, right in the city center, yet off the main street so plenty of peace and quiet.
The house is lovely, with so many authentic features, from the vaulted ceilings, wood floors, delightful and comfortable decor. We enjoyed the fullly equipped kitchen by cooking local delicacies every day.
There are small and large food shops, bars, restaurants all within walking distance for every taste and budget.
There is a not to miss weekly market on Saturday, as good as any I have ever seen anywhere in Italy.
There are so many great things to mention, but most of all, our most lovely host, Marina.
She went out of her way to not only outfit the property with EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more,
but was a wealth of information and ideas for things to do in the area. She is a sublime host, taking time
to assure a most memorable experience. She speaks with such authority and pride and taught us alot about this very special part of Italy. As a licensed tour guide and with her husband an outstanding organic olive oil
producer, staying here gives you a distinct advantage over other rentals that may not have such knowledgable and passionate hosts.
Our last day we were also treated to a visit to some ancient olive trees that left us breathless.
There are so many things that made this trip so memorable, we would recommend this property to everyone
that wants to explore beautiful Puglia and to have fond memories that make you want to go back as soon as possible.

If you've managed to discover Ostuni and Puglia, you're already ahead, but I'm sure by choosing to stay in Marina's wonderful apartment, you've just guaranteed yourself a perfect holiday.
The apartment is as all the other reviews have stated; it's just a few minutes walk from the main square, it's immaculately clean, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, there's air conditioning, a cute little kitchen to cook your own meals if you wish and the rooftop terrace will allow you plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine and sounds of the city.
But there's something to this apartment that the pictures will never be able to illustrate. It has such a great feel to it. The moment you walk in the shiny, green door and climb the steps up to the first level, it feels like a home. And after enduring what was probably a very long day of travel to get there, that feeling is a welcome relief.
Marina is a terrific hostess, very knowledegable of the local area and sights and as everyone else has also said, she makes amazing olive oil which you can buy and take home with you at the end of your trip.
If you're thinking of a holiday in Puglia, Ostuni is a great place to base yourself. Situated about an hour from Brindisi and half an hour from Bari airports, it's an easy drive to many other towns like Martina Franca, Lecce, Cisternino, Otranto and Monopoli. You certainly won't run out of day trip possibilities. It's not so simple without a car, but you can get the local shuttle to the train station (about 2km's down the hill) and then catch a train to many towns along the coast.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Marina's apartment to anyone. It was just what I needed for a chilled out week in a beautiful part of the world.

My husband and I visited the beautiful town of Ostuni for the second time. Firstly I would say that the pictures do not do this house justice. It is far better. The house is set in a quite cobbled street minutes away from the town square which boasts, bars, restaurants, post office, cash machine, fish shop, butchers, everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The house became our ' home' for 10 days thanks to the lovely Marina, who went above and beyond to help make our stay so enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better hostess.Having arrived a day early due to flight availability, Marina arranged for us to stay on an Olive farm for 1 night ( featured last week on Gino's travels around Italy) Marina met us and took us to the farm and arranged to meet us the following day to take to the house. The 3 terraces each give views of the old town and sea.The house was immaculately clean and well equipped.it is obviously loved and cared for. An abundance of linen and towels. We used the washing machine which was a god send.Without exception the restaurants are lovely. Look for the sign 'osteria' which guarenteed authentic regional cooking. We actually ate in most evenings.I would suggest that if you wished to venture further afield a car is a must. There is a large supermarket " simply" a short distance away, great fish, meet and veg counter.Ostuni in September reverts from a tourist destination to a wonderful italian retreat. Little or no English is spoken which adds to it's charm.Overall, we have stayed in many houses across the entire Italy and this would rate as one of the best, with the most charming hostess and family ever!Thank you Marina and your lovely. family.

I realized that I did not accurately describe the sleeping situation! There is a double bedroom (pictured), a pull-out couch in the main room (also a double), and a single pull out mattress in a small room on the top floor by the door that leads out to the great rooftop area. There are 3 different sleeping areas in all!
