About this house rental

A spacious Osoyoos Lake home, with 4 bedrooms. The home sleeps 8 to 10 comfortably. There are spectacular lake, beach or mountain views from every part of this home. The home is part of a family resort, with a private resort beach. With numerous areas to gather and entertain, both inside and out, the home is well suited for groups and small occasions. The home itself has 3 bedrooms plus a beautiful new rustic cabin in the back yard.

The base rate is $650 Canadian per night. Please message in order to get an exact quote based on your group size and your length of stay. Spring and fall rates offer discounts. We can also offer special rates for spring and fall for a one month stay, or a winter snowbird package.

The Beach: just a few steps across the road to the private resort beach. The beach has a large well treed grassy area, as well as an area of sandy beach with palappas to gather under.

The Lake: Osoyoos Lake is known as Canada/s warmest lake and attracts people all spring, summer and fall. Popular for boating, sunbathing, swimming, and fishing. We offer a Buoy for your boat if needed so that you can launch your boat once, and enjoy!

The home: at the beach, offers comfortable accommodations, spacious , rustic décor, numerous entertaining areas, spectacular views, and close to many amenities (town, restuarants). We offer comfortable and plentiful furniture throughout the 2 level home, as well as comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. The home is spacious with a large living room with a 54" flat screen, but you may be more interested in the view from this room! Another living/dining area offers amazing views as you enjoy your meals. Double doors open up from the kitchen/nook area out to the private back patio. The décor is decidedly rustic, with reclaimed wood furniture and large heavy wood furniture from Mexico. The dining table for 8 is live edge wood from Mexico, with an amazing view of the lake. The areas to gather and visit are endless with a large deck and wraparound patios front and back, a front putting green, and a private back patio. The back patio has mountain views and a spacious area to bbq and enjoy an outside meal. Bordering the beautiful patio is the new rustic cabin for sleeping, and a 6 person hot tub. 8 resort quality lounge chairs are available for your use. The fencing/plants and privacy cedars offer you privacy from the rest of the resort in the back patio.

The Resort: the home is located within Island View RV Resort. The beach and resort events are right there for you to enjoy! The Resort also has a small grocery store, ice cream bar, Laundry facilities, and organic coffee bar in the commercial area at the entrance. As well, paddleboard and kayak rentals are offered. It is quite common that events are held, such as BBQ's and dances at the beach or the store patio. We also can coordinate other accommodation needs your group may have as we also offer RV spaces for rent, spacious 2 bdrm RV's for rent on rv pads, and also a lovely 2 bdrm Park Model home. All located in the resort, just a few steps from the home. The resort also has 2 additional buildings for bathrooms/showers if needed by your group.

The Town and area: The home is about a half hour walk from the downtown area and within a few minutes to various restaurants. The town of Osoyoos has a beautiful downtown area with shops and restuarants. Surrounded by wineries and orchards, you can wine taste, purchase fresh fruits and vegies, go the farmers markets, or head out for a round of Golf. Besides our private beach, you can also explore the towns stretches of public beaches. Right next door is a waterslide, and a few blocks away is a family Amusement Park.

Renting: 4 Bedrooms: We offer the entire home as a 3 bedroom plus Cabin. You will be in touch directly with the owner who will promptly answer your inquiries and questions.

Clean and comfortable home with lots of space to spread out and relax. Perfect location with the beach right across the road. Life jackets, beach towels and beach chairs provided. Cute putting green in the front yard and a hot tub, large bbq and fire pit in the back courtyard. Driveway space for 3-4 vehicles. Welcoming and friendly owner lives next door. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Dawna for sharing your lovely home!

This home was great for the 8 of us, 4 adults, 4 kids (8-17). Location was steps from the beach, house came with lots of beach floaties, chairs, wagon, kayaks, life jackets and towels. The location was was great, beach was fairly quiet, water was great! Lots of outdoor spaces to relax and socialize, lots of room for everyone to sleep. Would highly recommend!

Doc and Dawna were amazing people! The photos in the Ad does not do this house justice. They had a bouy for us to tie our boat up and nice private beach right across the street. Made friends with other owners in the complex. Overall amazing house, location, and people. 100% going to return and highly recommended!

This house is incredible! We were a family of 4 adult couples and it was perfect! The house itself was a good size and there was lots of outdoor space to hang out in the heat! The lake across the street was a nice bonus! We would definitely come back!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were 3 families, 4 kids ranging from 1-10 The home was clean and so well stocked with all the essentials. LARGE living rooms (2) bedrooms were spacious and have plenty of storage space. Owners were on site to great us and were delightful to deal with. Kitchen provided gathering space and plenty of cupboard space (we had stocked up for 4 days of food snacks and drinks). The lake has a dedicated beach for the house/rv campground and there was always plenty of space to accommodate our group. The house even comes with a collection of floaties and 4 kayaks to enjoy (this was a success!) My husband and I took the little backyard cabin as all rooms were taken, it was comfy and quiet and provides privacy! In walking distance to restaurant and little amusement parks, we also rented a jet ski from the business 4mins away. If Osoyoos is ever in my future plans to visit again, i would 100% look into booking here again!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay, the home was very accommodating for our group of 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 9 months, 2, 3 and11 years old). It was clean and very well furnished. We will definitely be staying here again next year.

This spacious, fully equipped, clean vacation stay property is the perfect place for a family or group vacation. We especially appreciated the large, fully equipped kitchen; large & completely private backyard with hot tub & barbeque; multiple seating areas for lounging and dining; large bedrooms & comfortable beds; not to mention the beautiful lake view from the deck with the lake being a stone's throw from the property. The owners were authentic nice people & quick to respond to any of our questions or requests. A great property! Very clean and excellent for larger groups. Bedrooms are in a quiet area of the house so the youth could hang out later in the evening without disruption. Dawna and Doc were extremely helpful and accommodating!!

My husband and I stayed here July 11, 2021 for a week with our two kids and two other couples (brother and sister-in law and spouses). The house had plenty of room for all of us inside and out. We enjoyed the location with the private beach across the street. We brought our boat and the buoy that came with the house was perfect. We would definitely stay again. We have stayed at many other places in Osoyoos before and this was the best for the reasons above.

The house is beautiful and spacious. We were 6 adults and 4 kids and we all managed to sleep comfortably. The house has everything we needed and was very clean at check in. We like the side of the lake where the house is located as it is not very busy.

We had a great time at the house. It was a perfect size and in good condition. We all slept well on the beds! It’s location can’t be beat - so convenient to get to the lovely beach. It was a pleasure to deal with the hosts!

We had a most lovely time at this beautiful lake front home with a most fabulous view celebrating a milestone bday with 6 of our closest friends and family (8 people in total). We were able to spread out throughout this perfectly laid out home which had multiple outdoor sitting areas including the private beach across the street. This home had everything you needed and more! Owners were attentive and always prompt with replies when communicating. Only negative was the room with the double bed which resulted in one couple not being able to sleep together as the bed was just too small, so the husband had to sleep on the couch for 4 nights. Other than that we made many great memories and would definitely return in the very near future!
