Well presented and clean, adapted accommodation on two levels. Parking for two vehicles. Another small rental unit shares the courtyard and has one parking space (but no shared walls with the Annex). Owner lives next door but thick stone wall means sound isolation is good.
Small but functional kitchen with fridge (no freezer) and oven with grill. 4 electric hobs. Grill indicator light seems to not work... 4 slice toaster but only 2 work (one side).
Internet a bit weak and watching BBC iPlayer on the smart TV was a struggle with frequent interruptions but phone browsing seemed OK.
Overall a very suitable place to house two families and a grand parent with 3 toilets and two bathrooms for a wedding. Shower experience was let down by luxurious thick soft towels, which, as soon as they were damp, smelled of dog and other unpleasant odours. This was hopefully a one-off experience and can be easily remedied but both towels in main bedroom en-suite suffered from this. I did not have time, nor stayed long, enough to ask for fresh towels.
To note that Annexe is roadside on main road passing through village... double glazing keeps noise down to very acceptable levels when windows are shut.

We stayed here so the family, that live miles apart, could all meet to go to Longleat light festival. Our party was 6 adults & 2 children and the property accommodated us easily. Everything there that we needed, clean and homely.
Wonderful stay.

Plenty of room for making a comfortable stay for six adults and two children. The house was warm with a constant supply of hot water. Everything we needed was available. It was easy to find and in a good location. The whole family loved the property and highly recommend it.

Amazing cottage which I would highly recommend.
In a great location with easy access to Bath, Bristol, Wells, Glastonbury & Cheddar Gorge.
The cottage itself is huge, with 4 bedrooms, separate dining room, well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area.
It is spotlessly clean, with good quality towels and bedding.
A great find which we would stay in again.
Thank you

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our family of 7. Comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and spacious lounge and dining room. Had everything we needed for our stay. Really enjoyed dinner out at the Old Station Inn, such a quirky pub, amazing food. Town of Radstock only down the road, although local shop a short walk. A park and football field just around the corner which was handy for my son. A real home from home. Great communication from Paul and easy check in.

Perfect for a local wedding
This was a very well placed, well appointed house. It was warm and welcoming on our late evening arrival especially as there was a Christmas tree! Plenty of space to relax after a wedding celebration at The Pig. Excellent!

The property was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner met with us on arrival and was very helpful.
We did find that most of the channels didn’t work on the TV in the lounge but the other TV downstairs had all channels. This didn’t affect our stay as we went to a family wedding so didn’t have much spare time. Overall we would highly recommended this accommodation to share with others or to explore the area. The nearby pubs were great too.

We could not be happier with this beautifully renovated cottage. Four spacious bedrooms, a fully decked out kitchen, stunning dining area and table and large living area provided the perfect home away from home for our family of six. The master bedroom even had its own en-suite allowing us to have some much appreciated space away from the kids. The hosts Paul and Cat were delightful to deal with and accommodating in every way. We can not recommend this place enough!

Great spot for Bath and Bristol
We stayed here so we could treat Grandma to a weekend in Bath. The house is a perfect location as it is only a 20 minute drive to the park and ride for the city.
The house itself was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well stocked. They also thoughtfully made up a bed downstairs so Grandma didn't have to worry about the stairs.
We will definitely consider staying here again. With a lovely fish and chip shop in the village and a great pub serving excellent food almost next door it is a lovely place to spend some time.

good location and friendly property manager
Paul was very good at communicating throughout the whole process. He also came to meet and greet us too when we arrived.
The cottage was overall clean and well kitted out for making meals in.
The beds were comfortable. The cottage is next door to a delightful country inn and 15 mins walking distance to a beautiful ancient woodland. It was an easy 20 min drive to chew valley lake.
Because the cottage was on the main road, some of our light sleepers found it a bit difficult to get to sleep but got used to the traffic sounds by 2nd night.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
Thank you Paul

Beautiful and comfortable
The Annexe is beautiful and comfortable. We were welcomed by Paul who gave us some advice on what to do and where to eat. Lovely little place and a perfect base! We wish we were here longer!

Lovely place, spotlessly clean and comfortable
Just stayed the one night, 6 ladies for my 50th. All felt at home straight away, really clean and comfortable, pictures don't do it justice. Good quality bedding and fluffy towels. Host made us feel welcome and was available for any questions that we might have. Will definitely go back!!

Exactly as advertised
If you are looking for a cozy stay in a quiet village with close proximity to attractions, this is the spot for you. My wife and my three teenagers loved the annex. The apartment was very comfortable, roomy and exactly as advertised. We stayed for 4 nights and would have easily extended our stay for another few days. It was a real joy to return to the annex each day after taking day trips to Bath, Cardiff and Glastonbury. There is a quaint pub a few steps away from the apartment as well as a fish & chips restaurant and a convenient store within 5 minutes walking distance. Although the village is small, it allows for opportunities for jogging and walks throughout the village. Paul is a very gracious host. After we had a chance to settle in, Paul stopped by to introduce himself and to see if we had any questions/concerns. Our stay was exactly as we envisioned. Thanks again Paul.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Annexe. The property is very well placed for visiting Bath/Bristol/Wells/Cheddar. The house was spacious, comfortable, and certainly one of the cleanest holiday lets we've stayed in. Communication with the owners was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous Find!
We loved the Annexe! We rented the annexe with some friends who had a family of 5. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us. Paul made it so easy to find and settle in. Paul greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the house. It was so spacious and lovely. The moment Paul finished touring us around and left we were trying to find a way to extend our stay. It was such a comfortable home with a lovely atmosphere! We felt right at home right away. We loved the munchies and treats Paul and Cat left for us. Next time we are out this way, the Annexe is where we want to stay! We loved it and the hospitality of Paul and Cat so much we left them some treats from our home countries (Netherlands & Germany) - hope they enjoyed them!

The Annexe has been a great base for our short break. It's well situated for visiting the main sights, but not too far to have a day at the coast too. The cottage is tastefully decorated, comfortable, spacious and very clean. We used all the bedrooms plus the small extra living room with its sofa bed. Having that separate room plus the main living room was a bonus. We had good communication with the owner before we arrived, and a friendly welcome from him when we did.

Paul was a fantastic host, friendly, honest, incredibly helpful and hospitable. The property was lovely, bright, clean, well furnished and with lovely decor. It has everything you need for a great stay and nothing is too much trouble for Paul. Could not recommend staying here highly enough. Thanks Paul!

We stayed a couple of nights in this historical cottage for a short break. It's been sympathetically restored with great attention to detail, while being warm and cosy with the comfiest beds. Owner Paul lives in the adjacent main house; thoughtful gestures make him the ideal host. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout in English country cottage style with a hint of Scandinavian 'hygge.'
Highly recommended for a trip to Bath, which is a 20 minute drive away. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay and explore the area further.

We stayed at Paul and Cat's place during an extended family vacation after Christmas. It was conveniently located near Bath and provided a cosy place to stay while exploring the nearby areas. The whole family was comfortable, and we had a nice time catching up with each other in the evenings. Paul was very attentive and generally available to help with any issues as he and his family are right next door.
