Site and room was lovely, facilities were simple but great
Staff were terrible, some of them rude particularly a long haired brunette with glasses. Staff seemed very young and had not been properly trained. Not bringing spoons with coffees, not serving items correctly, additional items added to the bill, going off to ask questions and never returning. We checked that there was vegan options before we visited and we're told that there was a vegan option on every course at every meal. This was not the case. We had a nightmare trying to get something put together. This was however rectified on the final night where I had to suggest something for the chef to make. Not ideal but was very nice. It was my partners birthday that night which I informed them of several times and they advised they would do something special, no on even said happy birthday.
I do have to say that the young dark haired lad and the chap who made us our morning soya lattes were lovely and extremely helpful, it's just a shame about the rest.

Everything. Le Barn is simply the best child-friendly place we have ever visited. Yet, it is also the most adult-friendly place too. There are lots of activities for kids, nature-inspired, the breakfast and overall the food at the restaurant is amazing. The 16+ spa area is wonderful and tranquil. The ayurverdic massage is a must. Le Barn shares the estate with the horseback riding school La Cense, and that in itself is fantastic - there are 6 ponies that the smaller children can take for a walk but also lessons, etc. The hotel organizes lots of events - mini olympics, archery, after lunch walks in the forest, fishing, etc. There are numerous bike trails too. We brought our own bikes but the hotel had Woom Bikes of every size + electric cargo bikes and other adult bikes too. There is a community room for children to play, watch a movie and eat their dinner on a looong table full of kids (babysitter is watching them). I can go on and on :) But we will be happy to come back one day.
Nothing, loved it all.

Lovely setting, very peaceful and nice views from the room. Really dog friendly, great grounds for them to enjoy and welcome in all areas of the hotel. Food was also good for both dinner and breakfast.
The rooms, though relatively stylish, are quite basic and not terribly comfortable. Not too many amenities or comforts - sparingly furnished and equipped. Fine for a short stay.

Food was very good including breakfast. Great walks for our dogs. Beautiful surroundings.
Ashtray with cigarette stubs on balcony. Non smoking hotel? Mugs were not clean . Also just left one sachet of tea and coffee which is a little mean. Went to bar for a pre meal cocktail, took 15 minutes to be served.
Also fire alarm was set off in middle of night by someone smoking…our dogs went crazy. No apologies from anyone which was disappointing.

We loved the location and property.
The property is very nice.
4.3
it’s fully immersed in nature
it’s marketed around kids activities so there’s obviously many young kids running around

- excellent restaurant, horses, infrastructure
- when we arrived on a cold night the heating was not on so the room was really cold (which you don’t expect at this price)

country style hotel
poor breakfast, location is very remote.

excellent moment in this lovely place. thanks for the welcome and for making this weekend great. The gouter at 4:00pm is a great idea and the horse lesson was perfect.

Surroundings are beautiful and it has a nice campy vibe.
Its a poor price-quality for a night in a camp. We were in the midst of a company trip and we were a little bit forgotten by the personnel. If you pay almost 300 euros you can expect more service.

I was delighted about this area. It is so calm and pleasant. Next time I will be back with my family.

We loved being surrounded by beautiful nature and the horses. Hotel blends well into the landscaping. Great barnlike structure. Feels a bit American. Friendly staff!
Not sure what the purpose of the DJ (playing daily from 18.00-20.30) is in this setting with a lot of young families. The a la carte menu seriously puzzled us. A vegetable salad consisting of only two vegetables (overcooked peas and carrots) , lamb kebab which was pulled, very dry lamb (not cubes of juicy fresh lamb), very bland risotto without rice, stodgy clafoutis etc, etc. Also not a cheap restaurant! I would recommend staying here but going out for dinner elsewhere.

Great Food, great Location and ability to borrow bikes to see the beautiful surrounding area. Small but great spa facilities and massage.
Disappointed that the restaurant was closed on our second day and only basic sandwiches were provided.
There was a team building exercise on our second day which was very loud and ruined the tranquility, ambiance and elegance of the hotel and setting, it would be better not to have paying guests at the hotel at the same time as these activities or have them in a totally separate area.

The forest makes for a shaded walk.
The open pond is a mosquito paradise. Dogs run around without leashes. The rooms are not prepared for heatwaves. Breakfast is a processed food fest. No place to go for even a cool dip. Staff are friendly kids but not professional - they lack experience to efficiently deal with problems.

No air conditioner...
