War ideal für ein Wochenende zu Konzert und Stadtbesichtigung.

Zentrale Lage, zu Fuß in 15 Min in Altstadt. Direkt gegenüber von Messehalle mit Straßenbahn Haltestellen.

Andrang beim Frühstück zur Stoßzeit. (Lässt sich wohl kaum vermeiden). Trotzdem immer alles da gewesen.

Ein fast perfekter Aufenthalt. Kann das Hotel nur empfehlen und würde es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Personal, Sauberkeit, Frühstück, Lage mit Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel hervorragend. Altstadt auch noch zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen. Zimmerausstattung fast perfekt.

Im Bad/WC fehlt ein Ventilator (Abzug)!

O alegere extrem de buna

Ospitalitatea recepției, curatenia camerelor, design-ul modern, nou, ingrijit. Micul dejun diversificat si foarte bun. Aproape de statiile de tramvai. Gratuitatea transportului in comun oferita de hotel.

Really pleasurable. I loved the Nespresso coffee machine in the room.

Great situation with free travel card. Everything was really clean and the staff very friendly and efficient

It would have been nice to have a quick breakfast- pastry and coffee at a set price. Not everyone wants a full breakfast.

Sehr angenehm, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, viel Auswahl. Die Lage war auch toll, man war gleich im Zentrum dadurch die Straßenbahn direkt vor dem Hotel war!

Es gibt NICHTS was mir nicht gefallen hat

Patul confortabil, camera mare. Baia mare, la dus se poate selecta exact temperatura apei. Aparat pentru ceai si cafea in camera.

Covorul din camera jumatate este sub pat. Parchetul este rece, nu am gasit papuci si a fost destul de rece. La sosire ne-au comunicat ca trebuie sa blocheze suma de 200 CHF, dar la plecare o sa ne restituie imediat suma. Pe booking nu scria nimic de acest aspect. Dupa vreo 4 zile am intrebat de ce nu este suma deblocata si mi-au comunica faptul ca poate sa dureze pana la 10 zile.

No top sheet Duvet too short- covered only 3/4 of normal body Hard to regulate A/C temp

A great Marriott in good location.

The room was very spacious and quiet. We would have preferred a non-connecting room as for a short time we could hear someone talking on their phone! The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean with a great shower. Location is in smaller Basel so 20 minute walk to old town.

On our second day we took a slow day and did not out into Basel until 2pm. When we returned our room had not been serviced (?).

Perfect hotel if you want to be as close as possible the Art Basel fair.

It's ok, I would try somewhere else first.

It's 5 min away from the Messe.

For such an expensive hotel, you expect that they offer slippers. When requested, they said they will bring them to my room.

Wonderful staff and very clean! Would visit again.

The hotel is quiet, modern and clean. Excellent location (close to the airport, city centre and shops) with amazing transport links and we have also been given free travel cards to go around from the hotel. Staff is very polite and welcoming and tending to your needs immediately.

We weren’t given any slippers to be able to go down to the sauna. We asked for them and we were told that they have none left. The air conditioning wasn’t working and the room was very cold. We stayed from Friday to Tuesday and on Saturday we raised the problem and we’re given a halogen heater which did the job but was quite noisy. They apologised and said that unfortunately they are unable to do anything until Monday. For such a well known chain of hotels and the money we paid they should have someone always available to fix this sort of things. If the water would have been affected then you can’t say to the guests that they will have no hot water. Also when we arrived there was a security deposit that they held 400CHF and we were told they would refund the amount at the end of the stay. That was not a problem for me but the explanation was wrongfully given as what happened is that they just put a lock on the money and then only debited the amount of the final invoice which included room service and some drinks that we had at the hotel. Also for who wants to travel please note that the hotel charge will be additional to your initial cost and that it will be applied for each day of accommodation.

as driving back via Basel will book alternative Hoyel

nobody help on unloading bags from the car then no garage or parking facilities was told to drive my car to a local multi-storey parking mote then 500 meters away from the hotel with no stairs or lifts

after all the above problems had to wait approx 15 minutes to get serve by a missing bar staff
