About this villa rental

New for 2024: Outdoor Lounge, BBQ and Mega-Chess Set.

Only a 500m walk to the secluded, sandy beaches in Pessada, this large, magnificently appointed and luxurious villa will take your breath away.

Only a 500m walk to the secluded, sandy beaches in Pessada, this large, magnificently appointed and luxurious villa is one of the largest on the island of Kefalonia. With an open floor plan, this 320 m² villa offers many places to gather or retreat. With 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 separate living rooms, it is large enough to accommodate two families very comfortably. There is air conditioning in every room of the villa. There are two large screen TVs with a library of over 100 movies, satellite TV programming and high-speed Starlink WiFi throughout.

On the outside, the covered veranda offers a dining area for 10 and a comfortable seating set for relaxing with a drink or playing cards. Just a few steps away is a 50m² pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Throughout the property are gardens of Lavender, Jasmine, Bougainvillaeas, Oleander and Rosemary. All this with incredible views of the sea and the occasionally anchored yacht enjoying the same peace and tranquility as you are. Views to the South include Spartia beach and the island of Zakynthos across the Ionian Sea. Looking to the north provides a full view of Mount Ainos, the tallest mountain on Kefalonia.

We welcome you to enjoy our home as much as we do on the idyllic Greek island of Kefalonia.

Our housekeepers and house manager will be available for any assistance you might need during your stay.

Whether it is the subtle ringing of church bells at Agios Nikolas or the quiet serenity of the Greek island countryside, this villa in the peaceful village of Pessada offers a spectacular immersion of natural beauty, situated between the towering Mount Ainos and the Mediterranean Sea.

Although the villa is nestled between mountains and sea in the Kefalonian countryside, it is conveniently located to many island activities. You can take a peaceful walk along the rural roads and paths of this cliffside village. Within 10 minutes, you can walk to the secluded coves that make up the small beaches in Pessada. Nearby, you can walk to the port in Pessada where you can have a souvlaki and beer at the outdoor cantina.

Within a 10-minute drive, you can visit St. George's castle, built in the early 16th century. Within a 15-minute drive, you can visit the monastery of Saint Gerasimos for a glimpse of its ornate interior and the mummified body of the saint himself. Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, can also be reached with a 15-minute drive. You can visit Argostoli for the fruit markets, souvenirs, bakeries, cafes or many wonderful restaurants. Be sure to spend an evening in the square where you can have an ice cream, frappe, crepe or mixed drink while watching the town come alive and gather. Other notable drives include a visit to the underground Lake Mellisani and Dragorati Cave. It is a beautifully scenic drive to Myrtos Beach and the picturesque towns of Assos, Fiskardo and Sami.

Absolutely spectacular property, views and amenities. Breathless. Great location , near small local port and a short drive to Argostoli as well as great restaurants in Trapezaki area. Just excellent. Sad to leave but as we say in French “Faut partir pour revenir “

We were a party of 9 adults staying at this stunning villa for one week (4 - 11 June 2023). When going into the villa for the first time we were met with the most amazing views of the Ionian sea and across to Zakynthos. The photos really don't do it justice. The villa is perfect for a large group such as ourselves, a beautiful home from home, large air conditioned rooms, comfortable beds, kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need, and of course the very welcoming pool. There were two supermarkets within 10 minutes of the villa and we ate at two great restaurants, both about 10 minutes away. Isaios was lovely but our favourite was Esperides where we were made so welcome, food was delicious and although seemingly in the middle of nowhere, was packed all evening which speaks for itself! For car hire, George recommended Koula Zampeli at Ainos Travel. Koula was so helpful, pick up and drop off was so easy, right across from the airport and all communication was carried out with Koula via email or Whatsapp, fantastic service and highly recommended. We visited Fiskardo and Assos but a must see is Argostoli for a mid morning stroll (10 - 11am) around the port. We must have seen 20 large turtles just swimming around right up to the walkway, amazing! George also recommended Queen Bee boat trips. As there were 9 of us we went on a private trip on Queen Bee 2. Queen Bee 1 was a larger boat and carried many more people. A fabulous week had by all...Thank you!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house! The house is lovely and in great condition and fit our extended family of 3 couples & 3 kiddos under 6. We all enjoyed the pool and sitting out on the balcony. Very responsive property mgmt (thank you, Daniel!) and appreciated the mid week house cleaning too. We would love to come back next year!

Our first time on the island of Kafelonia!!! The Villa Rebecca surpassed our expectations. We had our entire family of 12 on this vacation. The accommodations and setting could not be better. Wake up every morning to the most gorgeous view possible. Outstanding and deserves a 5 star rating!! The support staff, Daniel and Simon, could not be more helpful. Thank you Rebecca and George for a spectacular setting for our vacation.

The house was lovely and spacious. We were 3 families and had more than enough space. The view from the house was amazing. The owner / house keeper was quick to respond to any queries. The only disappointment was that the bbq was broken so we couldn’t cook outside, but I believe they are planning on building a new outdoor coming area.

The villa is truly luxurious. So much space. Bedrooms are generous in size with masses of storage. There are private bathrooms for everyone, mostly en-suite. Excellent quality. The kitchen area is huge and open plan and equipped with everything you could possibly want. It was the outside that was where we lived!! The pool is a great size and children and adults spent masses of time in the water. Quality sun loungers and big umbrellas made sitting round the pool a really pleasant experience. The veranda was the full width of the villa with a large table at one end where we ate and comfortable seating at the other. The view is beautiful with boats in the bay. Supermarkets we used were Ta Spartia in Spartia village which is quite small but suprisingly well stocked and open to about 10pm every day of the week. Also a larger supermarket in Trapezaki and Lidl on the edge of Argostoli. Our children ranged from 3 to 8 so we didn't venture far as they wouldn't have wanted to spend hours in the car. Our favourite beaches for them were Spartia and Aghios Thomas. Both were near, sandy, shallow and also had a few rocks at the edge which were great for snorkelling. Both are small, especially Aghios Thomas. Both had tavernas so nice for lunch. Lourdas beach is bigger but pebbly and deeper so didn't suit us but has more if you have a different age group in your party. Avithos beach is also sandy but not easy for parking and busy. It has sunbeds and a taverna. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Perfect.
