Only a 500m walk to the secluded, sandy beaches in Pessada, this large, magnificently appointed and luxurious villa will take your breath away.
Only a 500m walk to the secluded, sandy beaches in Pessada, this large, magnificently appointed and luxurious villa is one of the largest on the island of Kefalonia. With an open floor plan, this 320 m² villa offers many places to gather or retreat. With 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths and 2 separate living rooms, it is large enough to accommodate two families very comfortably. There is air conditioning in every room of the villa. There are two large screen TVs with a library of over 100 movies, satellite TV programming and high-speed Starlink WiFi throughout.
On the outside, the covered veranda offers a dining area for 10 and a comfortable seating set for relaxing with a drink or playing cards. Just a few steps away is a 50m² pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Throughout the property are gardens of Lavender, Jasmine, Bougainvillaeas, Oleander and Rosemary. All this with incredible views of the sea and the occasionally anchored yacht enjoying the same peace and tranquility as you are. Views to the South include Spartia beach and the island of Zakynthos across the Ionian Sea. Looking to the north provides a full view of Mount Ainos, the tallest mountain on Kefalonia.
We welcome you to enjoy our home as much as we do on the idyllic Greek island of Kefalonia.
Our housekeepers and house manager will be available for any assistance you might need during your stay.
Whether it is the subtle ringing of church bells at Agios Nikolas or the quiet serenity of the Greek island countryside, this villa in the peaceful village of Pessada offers a spectacular immersion of natural beauty, situated between the towering Mount Ainos and the Mediterranean Sea.
Although the villa is nestled between mountains and sea in the Kefalonian countryside, it is conveniently located to many island activities. You can take a peaceful walk along the rural roads and paths of this cliffside village. Within 10 minutes, you can walk to the secluded coves that make up the small beaches in Pessada. Nearby, you can walk to the port in Pessada where you can have a souvlaki and beer at the outdoor cantina.
Within a 10-minute drive, you can visit St. George's castle, built in the early 16th century. Within a 15-minute drive, you can visit the monastery of Saint Gerasimos for a glimpse of its ornate interior and the mummified body of the saint himself. Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, can also be reached with a 15-minute drive. You can visit Argostoli for the fruit markets, souvenirs, bakeries, cafes or many wonderful restaurants. Be sure to spend an evening in the square where you can have an ice cream, frappe, crepe or mixed drink while watching the town come alive and gather. Other notable drives include a visit to the underground Lake Mellisani and Dragorati Cave. It is a beautifully scenic drive to Myrtos Beach and the picturesque towns of Assos, Fiskardo and Sami.

Absolutely spectacular property, views and amenities. Breathless. Great location , near small local port and a short drive to Argostoli as well as great restaurants in Trapezaki area. Just excellent. Sad to leave but as we say in French “Faut partir pour revenir “

We were a party of 9 adults staying at this stunning villa for one week (4 - 11 June 2023). When going into the villa for the first time we were met with the most amazing views of the Ionian sea and across to Zakynthos. The photos really don't do it justice. The villa is perfect for a large group such as ourselves, a beautiful home from home, large air conditioned rooms, comfortable beds, kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need, and of course the very welcoming pool.
There were two supermarkets within 10 minutes of the villa and we ate at two great restaurants, both about 10 minutes away. Isaios was lovely but our favourite was Esperides where we were made so welcome, food was delicious and although seemingly in the middle of nowhere, was packed all evening which speaks for itself!
For car hire, George recommended Koula Zampeli at Ainos Travel. Koula was so helpful, pick up and drop off was so easy, right across from the airport and all communication was carried out with Koula via email or Whatsapp, fantastic service and highly recommended.
We visited Fiskardo and Assos but a must see is Argostoli for a mid morning stroll (10 - 11am) around the port. We must have seen 20 large turtles just swimming around right up to the walkway, amazing!
George also recommended Queen Bee boat trips. As there were 9 of us we went on a private trip on Queen Bee 2. Queen Bee 1 was a larger boat and carried many more people.
A fabulous week had by all...Thank you!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house! The house is lovely and in great condition and fit our extended family of 3 couples & 3 kiddos under 6. We all enjoyed the pool and sitting out on the balcony. Very responsive property mgmt (thank you, Daniel!) and appreciated the mid week house cleaning too. We would love to come back next year!

Our first time on the island of Kafelonia!!! The Villa Rebecca surpassed our expectations. We had our entire family of 12 on this vacation. The accommodations and setting could not be better. Wake up every morning to the most gorgeous view possible. Outstanding and deserves a 5 star rating!! The support staff, Daniel and Simon, could not be more helpful. Thank you Rebecca and George for a spectacular setting for our vacation.

The house was lovely and spacious. We were 3 families and had more than enough space. The view from the house was amazing. The owner / house keeper was quick to respond to any queries. The only disappointment was that the bbq was broken so we couldn’t cook outside, but I believe they are planning on building a new outdoor coming area.

The villa is truly luxurious. So much space. Bedrooms are generous in size with masses of storage. There are private bathrooms for everyone, mostly en-suite. Excellent quality. The kitchen area is huge and open plan and equipped with everything you could possibly want. It was the outside that was where we lived!! The pool is a great size and children and adults spent masses of time in the water. Quality sun loungers and big umbrellas made sitting round the pool a really pleasant experience. The veranda was the full width of the villa with a large table at one end where we ate and comfortable seating at the other. The view is beautiful with boats in the bay. Supermarkets we used were Ta Spartia in Spartia village which is quite small but suprisingly well stocked and open to about 10pm every day of the week. Also a larger supermarket in Trapezaki and Lidl on the edge of Argostoli. Our children ranged from 3 to 8 so we didn't venture far as they wouldn't have wanted to spend hours in the car. Our favourite beaches for them were Spartia and Aghios Thomas. Both were near, sandy, shallow and also had a few rocks at the edge which were great for snorkelling. Both are small, especially Aghios Thomas. Both had tavernas so nice for lunch. Lourdas beach is bigger but pebbly and deeper so didn't suit us but has more if you have a different age group in your party. Avithos beach is also sandy but not easy for parking and busy. It has sunbeds and a taverna. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Perfect.

Pesada
Great location 20 minutes from the airport with a great view looking toward Zakynthos. Plenty of tavernas within 15 minutes & a full service grocery store as well. From here you can reach all of the best touring locations (Myrtos, Assos, Fiskardo, Sami, Antisamos, Skala, etc.) within one hour. The villa itself is very well appointed and modern with more than enough space for 10 visitors.

Wonderful stay at Villa Anna Rebecca
Could not have asked for a more complete vacation home.
Had everything we needed. Completely and totally clean.
Location was perfect, Google maps lead us directly there and
all over the Island by the way.
Daniel met us on time and walked the entire party through the house.
Very politely answered all our questions.
The view from the rear kept us in a constant state of amazement.
The pool is quite large and had plenty of room for our entire party of nine.
We are already looking to book it again next year!

Great place to spend one week on Kefalonia island. Villa is as described, with a big garden and a beautiful view. Beach at 10 minutes walking, with clear water and fine sand. Within 10 minutes drive, beaches with tavernas and umbrellas. The only issue was one airco not working, and sleeping with windows open was noisy as the whole AC unit for the house was just in front of the window. Other than this, would clearly reccommend the place!

Lovely holiday in a beautiful property
We have just returned from a two week stay at Villa Anna Rebecca. The accommodation is first class: modern, clean, spacious, well-presented and amazing views towards Zakynthos.
We were 4 adults and 4 children and the house was perfectly set up for us. The pool is a good size and was certainly used to cool off. The kitchen was well-equipped which was great as we BBQ'd quite a bit.
The location is quiet so you will need a car to get around and to get supplies etc. Driving was easy and there are lots of nice beaches within easy driving distance. We visited most of the island but the local beaches that we visited included: Lourdas which is good for water-sports, Pesada which is below the villa (very picturesque and worth the effort to get there). Spartia which is great for jumping off the rocks. We found Karavados beach on the last day which is beautiful and has two cliff-top restaurants. We also took two boat trips which enabled us to see some beaches that we would not have seen otherwise.
There are a couple of local bar/restaurants but unfortunately the service was not the friendliest (Waterways in particular was terrible despite the amazing location). We visited Argostoli on several occasions as it has nice shops, waterside restaurants and is only about a 15 minute drive.
I could go on but overall we had a 5-star holiday so thank you to George, Dave and Wendy for hosting us and allowing us to stay at this lovely home.

Brilliant Views!
Had a lovely time and the villa was as described and ideal for our family of 9!! We loved the pool and the views. Location was great for us and we recommend visiting Sami, Poros, Skala and Mount Ainos - which are all under an hour away! Also Argostoli was good for fresh fruit , veg and fish - we also enjoyed Casa Grec there as well. Probably the best food we had all holiday!! Would recommend!! May be back next year!!

Wonderful family sized villa
We rented the villa as part of my fathers 80th birthday celebrations, and with 8 of us staying in the property it was a fabulous experience. The villa is exactly as advertised, and so quiet and relaxing. Can’t praise the villa and it’s facilities enough, right down to George’s father dropping off enough fresh lemons one day for us to make 4.5 ltrs of lemonade, and Dave and Wendy’s tips for places to eat and visit. The view! WOW, and the peace and quiet at all times of day and night were magic. Thank you so much and look forward to returning as soon as we can. The villa had all the amenities, and equipment a large group could wish for. Great WI-FI and entertainment systems, can’t fault any of it.

An elegant, spacious, secluded getaway
Much has already been said about the space and elegance this property offers, but it's worth repeating. The villa is a high-spec, well maintained, very spacious property that suited our party (4 couples and 1 single) perfectly.
The design of the house feels familiar for those used to American properties and it all works really well, from the large kitchen at the centre of the ground floor, to the large dining area and multiple lounges.
But it is the exterior where the villa really comes into its own. It has a fantastic veranda/deck with seating for everyone to drink in the views and while the evenings away. It has a really good-sized, really well maintained pool for a Greek property and with its position overlooking the sea towards Zakynthos, there is very little one would want to change.
The only thing we would suggest to improve the overall experience for guests, is to encourage other guests to make/leave suggestions of restaurants, beaches and sites within the locality. We used Trip Advisor to help us decide where to eat but would have welcomed recommendations from previous guests.
All in all, a splendid villa in a beautiful location.

Perfect Pessada!
We spent a glorious fortnight at this lovely villa: six adults and four small and very lively children. It is a spacious, gracious house, very well-equipped, with a large and attractive garden and a pool which has a generous tiled surround; plenty of room for the young to play and swim to their hearts' content and for the grown-ups to lie and back and soak up the rays!
Now for the outlook... Thanks to the villa's elevated setting, we were able to enjoy wonderful views along the south coast of Kefalonia, back to the mountains and across the water to Zakynthos.
We were made very welcome by the English caretakers who met us at the airport, showed us the ropes when we reached the villa and continued to look after us at intervals during our stay.
The Kefalonians whom we encountered were without exception, warmly welcoming and delightfully humorous.
The villa is tucked away in peaceful seclusion. We soon found our bearings and were able to get out and about for shopping and sightseeing with little difficulty. One must always bear in mind the fact that Kefalonian roads rarely if ever follow the example of the crow! As this makes clear, a car is pretty well essential, not only for exploring but also for shopping and eating out.
All in all, we couldn't have asked for better.

Beautiful villa with stunning views
This was our first time in Kefelonia.
The island is beautiful with some truly incredible scenery. The roads are fantastic fun if you like driving - if you're a nervous driver you may find them slightly nerve wracking.
From when we booked the villa we have been in contact with George who has been great at answering questions and helping with recommendations and information. As all the other reviews have said, we were collected from the airport, shown around the vila, and made aware of how to use the various appliances. This involved a bit of waiting around while hire cars were collected but this was not a problem.
We booked this villa to accommodate 10 of us, 9 adults and a 1 year old. We were certainly not short of space! The villa is very spacious and provides enough room for big family meals, as well as for everyone to find some quite space when needed.
The bedrooms are all a good size, with the 2 masters being huge! The beds were comfortable and the villa is quiet at night so a good nights sleep was had by all.
On the days we stayed 'home' the pool area was a fantastic place to soak up the sun. It's now well fenced off, the gardens have grown in, and the view is stunning! The pool itself is a good size and has a good range of depth - over 2m at the deep end so plenty of room for jumping in. The steps gave my little girl plenty of confidence and by the end of the week she was happy to climb in to the pool and swim back to the step to get out.
There are 2 huge TV's available, one with an Xbox and both have a selection of films. We didn't use any of this, but it was nice to know we had some entertainment should we have needed it. There is also a system to allow you to play music both in the house and out to the pool, however despite some quite detailed instructions, we could not make this work reliably. We didn't think this was a big enough issue to warrant contacting George.
The kitchen is well equipped and was ample for preparing meals for everyone. The dining table on the terrace was a lovely place to enjoy a meal. There's a second dining table inside however we only used this for playing cards around one evening when the bugs were feeling particularly ferocious!
Ultimately I've only knocked a star off due to being very picky. Some of the kitchen and bathroom bits weren't clean, and some of the mats (especially between the pool and house) were quite soiled. But overall the villa was lovely, inviting, and well maintained.

Absolutely beautiful property on a stunning island..
The villa is every bit as fantastic as the pictures suggest, a stand out property in a extremely quiet and relaxing village. The 6 of us enjoyed every day in kefalonia, wether we were out exploring the island or simply relaxing by the pool this property allowed us the holiday we wished for. It is located about 20 minutes from Agolstoli and around 40 minutes from Skala therefore offering a good central location for getting around the island. Wendy and Dave met us at the airport helped us to the villa and aided us with any queries, although there really wasn't much required as far as help goes as the information pack provided to us gave us everything we needed to know about the property, local amenities and even as far as the local Greek culture. We will be booking our next holiday here without any doubt as 1 weeks is nowhere near enough time to see everything this island has to offer.

Perfect Family Getaway!!
We rented this beautiful home from June 5th to June 12th 2016, and were married outside by the pool. We couldn't have found a more romantic setting to exchange our vows!
The home is absolutely beautiful, and the location is amazing with views to die for!! The house itself is perfectly appointed and feels like a North American home, which is a rarity in Greece! The pool area is stunning, with views across the water to Zakynthos.
The house itself has everything you and your family might need to make your holiday on Kefalonia a most memorable experience, the five bedrooms are beautifully appointed (super comfortable beds), and the bathrooms are large and beautiful, with full sized showers and lots of room (a rarity in Greece). The huge kitchen has all the modern amenities one could ask for, the WiFi was the best we encountered during our entire month in Greece, no dropped signals or lag, again a rarity in Greece.
We would return here in a heartbeat and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful, quiet, and modern place to spend their vacation. You would have to look for a very long time to beat this amazing house!! We're definitely coming back.

The most perfect family holiday
This was a triple celebration for my wife and I (2 birthdays and a big wedding anniversary)
We travelled with our 2 daughters and their families, so our party consisted of 6 adults and our 3 grandchildren (aged 2, 3 and 6)
When we saw the property on-line we were confident that it would be perfect for us in terms of size, location, layout, facilities and privacy. We were absolutely correct as the villa exceeded our expectations in every way.
To be honest the pictures on the website do not do it justice as the gardens are now mature, well planted and very beautiful with one side of the pool area lined with lavender. The large garden areas are very, very pretty and immaculately maintained.
The pool is lovely and well maintained also (very unobtrusive) and the views are unbeatable in our opinion. The views really are stunning and we never tired of getting up to such gorgeous vistas. Early morning was particularly beautiful as the sun rose over the mountains to illuminate the coastline.
The inside of the villa is exactly as the pictures, pristine, first class and well cared for.
Our master suite bedroom and bathroom were beautiful and had the most comfortable, large and highest bed that we have ever slept in.
We should also mention Dave and Wendy, the property managers.
Dave met us at the airport and waited while we collected our hire cars from Pefanis (recommended, spot on, they do what they say on their website) in the arrivals hall. He then led us to the villa where we met Wendy and they showed us round the property and gave us good information and contact numbers etc. Really good service and very friendly people. They should be proud of the service that they provide.
George dealt with the booking and any questions that we had quickly on-line and our breakage deposit was refunded promptly. It was a pleasure to meet George's parents, George senior and Marie along with their cute little white dog which our grandchildren loved.
Summing up - we have stayed at other lovely villas, both on the island and elsewhere, but this villa gave us all a beautiful holiday in a beautiful location.
The best ever in all our opinions.
Superb!

Fantastic
When we arrived at the villa we were blown away, the place was magnificent! Really luxurious and spacious. The views out across the sea are fantastic and the facilities are amazing. We spent to much time out the back around the pool and has a really relaxing holiday.
Dave met us at the airport and showed us the way back. He and Wendy (his wife) were amazing during our stay. Full of info about the area and where to visit and really helpful. They went above and beyond and made our holiday so much more relaxing.
We met George Snr (George's dad) and his wife during our stay as the dropped in for a visit to check we were ok. The booking of the villa with George was seamless and he replied to emails quickly.
Overall a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be back.

Absolute paradise!!!!
From the moment we set eyes on the Villa in the distance, we knew straight away that it was going to exceed all of our expectations.
Firstly, when we arrived at the airport we were greeted by Dave one of the housekeepers who was so lovely and couldn't help us enough with our baggage and finding our hire car. He then kindly took some of our bags and then guided us to the villa which was only a 15 minute journey. Dave was a book of knowledge and gave us so many tips on local supermarkets, nice places to eat and many other useful tips! Dave's wife Wendy greeted us at the villa which she had spotlessly cleaned, she showed us round, helped us with any questions we had and even provided some essential groceries.
The villa itself is magnificent, the views some of the best i've ever seen. The 5 spacious bedrooms and 4 beautiful bathrooms were perfect for us as a family of 6 adults and 2 children but there was also plenty of space for more! The villa has been furnished to an extremely high specification with absolutely everything you could possibly need! The large pool was immaculately maintained and nearly everyday it was checked and the filters cleaned etc. We spent alot of time at the villa, it was just so beautiful and we were so relaxed and happy there with everything we needed. Daytimes were spent mostly enjoying some of the local food (and beer!!) and swimming in the pool. In the evenings we ate together on the terrace, watched the sun set and then sat for hours enjoying the views; the villa is lit beautifully at night and we enjoyed the different colours that you could light the pool up with. We also enjoyed playing our music through the speakers which can be heard inside/outside or both - they really have thought of everything!
George Jnr made sure that the booking/payment process was faultless, he replied to emails very promptly and answered many of my questions. George's father, George Snr and his wife also play a huge part in making sure that guests enjoy their stay. They brought us home made food cooked by the lovely Maria and even some icecreams for our kids; they are lovely lovely people.
This was a really special holiday, one which we had saved for and looked forward to for so long. It exceeded all of our expectations and we have already booked again for next year! We are thrilled that we have been lucky enough to stay in the stunning Villa Anna Rebecca and will be counting down the days until our next trip.
Thank you so much!

Stunningly beautiful property with amazing views
We have enjoyed 11 nights in the beautiful villa with everything to hand that we could possibly need (7 and a baby). It was so well equipped and the games room downstairs was brilliant for late evening when it was time to come in from the fabulous Al fresco dining area after watching the stunning sunset.
The swimming pool was fantastic and so well maintained with the pool cleaner attending every few days to make sure all was well. George Snr and his wife and Max the dog (gorgeous) called to check we wanted for nothing and provided some tasty traditional morsels to try which were delicious. The house keeper Wendy and Dave were extremely helpful directing us to the best places to eat and visit and making sure we had all we needed. It was brilliant that George had arranged for Dave to meet us at the airport where he waited while we collected our hire car and then showed us to the villa and took some of our cases too. We were not expecting such excellent service.
The villa itself was so quiet and peaceful and was just what we wanted to celebrate some special family birthdays. There is a private chef available for hire called Viva who was fantastic. She came to the house, cooked a delicious meal and cleared up and left with everything ship shape again - she was brilliant very reasonably priced, friendly and professional and gave us some good tips on cooking Greek food too!
The beaches nearby were lovely and quiet about a ten minute walk away. The Melissani Caves are about a 50 minute drive away and then we called at Antisamos Beach which was like the Caribbean - this is well worth a visit.
We loved the Olive Grove Restaurant just 15 minutes away by car where the service and food was great. We would love to go again.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the villa to anyone who is looking for 5 star accomodation and a tranquil setting to get away from it all with stunning views. You do need a car.

It was my first time booking from home away website, but am so happy I did and especially picking this particular villa. The villa was absolutely stunning, the pictures just don't do it justice, the words some of my family members used were: "I feel like a film star" the 360 degree view around the villa was beautiful.. George Junior was very helpful from day one and I couldn't thought the service that I received throughout the booking process.
We had a fantastic stay, It is a beautiful Island and we would love to come again soon.
Thank you for being so accomdating :-)

I had never felt more in need of being Restored, Rejuvenated & Rebooted with a full M.O.T.
Situated up high with picturesque sea views & surrounding countryside, villa Rebecca is mordern stylish affair, with all the ammenities one could wish for.
The rooms are elegant with simple lines & quality finishes.
It's grounds are private & secluded, perfect for meditation, contemplation & relaxation.
Villa Rebecca was most certainly for us, the Jewel in the Crown in Kefalonia.
Thank you George & Maria.

Villa Anna Rebecca was all we could have wished for and more. The location is spectacular (we visited many areas of the island and can honestly say that nothing compared to it!). The views out across the sea and down to our favourite beach were wonderful whatever the time of day. The villa itself was incredibly spacious, and very well appointed (the beds were particularly comfortable!); we were 4 adults and 6 children aged 5-10 and wanted for nothing. There were lots of games, huge TV etc and all one needed in the kitchen but, to be honest we spent 99% of the time in the pool or in the sea. The little beach just below the cliffs (George senior kindly showed us the way) was idyllic with crystal clear turquoise water, perfect for snorkelling and for the youngest ones to splash about in the shallows looking for shells and admiring all the fish. Just along from here was another great beach with a little restaurant overlooking it where we had supper most nights; we all ate and then the kids played on the beach whilst we enjoyed our beers! George Senior also organised a boat for the day and we had an amazing time travelling up the coast. We had a minibus for all 10 of us and took a trip most days, to Assos, Argostoli, the caves etc. all of which were thoroughly enjoyable and never too busy. What more can I say? It really was the perfect holiday and although we would like to visit a different part of Greece next year I don't think anything will match up to our stay in Kefalonia. Thank you George and Rebecca and George senior! Cat, Tim, Al, Sally & Co x
