Central and Quiet

Central location near the large car park. Its tucked down a road, so whilst its central, we found it very quiet. We were delayed and the kind lady who met us with the keys hung around for us.

We happened to visit when it was cold, and the first night was really cold. The A/C didn't function, and there was no other means of heating. A fire was delivered the next day, along with a bottle of wine, but they said that they realised that the A/C was broken. The small oven was dangerous. After a few mins operation the main fuse for the apartment blew. The kitchen equipment looked like it was there as a minimum to tick boxes. The kitchen knife was minature.

Beautiful apartment in great location

Nicely decorated apartment with all modern conveniences. Excellent location. Friendly owners with lots of advice offered. Close to daily market which is a must visit. Would definitely stay here again. Recommended.

Superb

Very clean. Fabulous terrace. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped and nice extras such as toiletries, snacks, condiments, welcome gift.. Quiet.

Unfortunately oven tripped all electrics so we had to eat out. I am sure this will be fixed for the future.

Superb comfortable apartment

Excellent studio, very quiet at night. Comfortable, well equipped. Excellent small terrace for sitting outside. Owner provided taxi to pick us up from the bus station (bus station is a 25 minute easy walk back with your luggage when you know where you are going)

Liked everything, if I was picky I would include a breadknife

Amazing Siracusa Dream Holiday in lovely Ortigia

Absolutely everything. The location is perfect, it has outstanding amenities, really comfortable living area and it’s as clean as a whistle. Our host Concetta was such a nice and generous lady. If we could give this stay 11/10 we would!

Generous Hostess of a well equipped apartment

Concita arranged for us to be met at the train station and transferred free of charge to the accommodation. She also assisted us by phoning for a reliable taxi to the bus when we left. Although breakfast is not officially included in the rate the apartment came with a basket of snacks, a large plate of fruit and a bottle of Prosecco for our 5 night stay. We enjoyed the location close to excellent fresh food markets and a maze of narrow laneways. Our apartment on the first floor had a full well equipped kitchen - better then the top floor. Although we didn’t have a terrace I preferred the first floor apartment.

There are narrow stairs to the apartments. No lifts. It’s a long way to carry a case to the second floor, where our friends stayed.

Feel at home from the first moment.

We absolutely loved staying here. The location was perfect, we were able to provision convenient parking and the apartment was welcoming from the first moment. The rooms were large and spacious, kitchen incredibly stocked, great bathroom, and overall a very relaxing space. The market is 2 minutes away, which is great considering how well the kitchen is equipped. Thank you very much!

Extremely friendly owner and cozy apartment

We stayed at the gold & black apartment on the first floor (not ground) and it was nice. The room is big enough for two people but I wouldn't recommend more than two to stay in this one (maybe choose the bigger one on the second floor). The kitchen has everything we needed and the owner even prepared equipments for us to go to the beach! The shower room is spacious so it is very helpful in the hot summer. The wifi is very fast and I think the owner sets separate wifi for each apartment, so it is beyond average hotel wifi. I must say that the owner Concetta is really nice and friendly! She asked her son to pick us up by car from the bus station of the city and she waited for us at the entrance of the street where the apartment was located. She prepared a big basket of fruits, lots of cookies and snacks, a welcome wine and six big bottles of water for us. It was such a surprise! When we left I needed to go to car rental first and come back to pick up the luggages, Concetta met with us at the car rental company and brought us back to the apartment in case we couldn't navigate the complex streets in Ortigia. It was a very pleasant stay!
