A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying.
Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely.
all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Really lovely cottage, just missing a few of the small touches. No salt and vinegar for example or cooking oil.
Not enough cutlery for 6 guests, you can not alter the temp of the showe, it no longer turns.
I would still visit again, but just a few little touches would make it so much nicer.
I have a few holiday homes and I stay in all of them at least once every 6 months, just so I can really see what is needed.

Lovely, spacious cottage. Great location!

The property is not suitable for the very young or old as the stairs are steep doors very low.The kitchen upstairs sitting room down stairs, makes it impossible to take a tray of tea down.We couldn’t find how to turn heating up.It was mild so not a big problem.Only 4 mugs and 4 wine glasses.Beds very comfortable and clean. No welcome pack.Only 1 bath towel per person no hand towels.Bathroom got wet through when showering,no mop to clean up the water.

What a lovely and quirky home away from home to stay in.
Location was key as we were racing the Outlaw X at Thoresby Park so this was perfect.
Shops and restaurants are very close by which made things easier.
The accommodation itself was lovely, very quirky with lots of character.
The doors heights upstairs are a little on low side (a few bumped heads) but added to the feel. The 3 bedrooms are really spacious and lovely. The bathroom was also large and with a big shower and jacuzzi bath, what more could you want.
My ONLY complaint would of be with the lovely, picturesque church opposite.
It chimed at random intervals and played a rather annoy tune randomly twice in every hour. And before you say it NOT on the half hour or the hour.
But that is marginal and I enjoyed the stay and accommodation so much that if I was to every come back to race or to visit the nearby attractions then I would definitely be looking to secure this property again.
Also the letting agents were fantastic.

Lovely cottage
Full of character, with everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, smart tv (for netflix), plus games, dvd's etc. Lovely Italian restaurant on the doorstep too! The lack of outside space is reflected in the competitive price and there is a field about a minutes walk away for the dog. Would recommend this cottage.

A great little cottage with bags of character
A great cottage in the center of the village, walking distance to a couple of great restaurants. The cottage had a lot of thoughtful accessories, from cooler to blankets and wood for the fire. The church chimes were hardly noticeably and didn't disturb our sleep. The beds were very cosy and there were plenty of towels provided.
I was especially looking forward to the Jacuzzi bath, featured in the photos, as I'd ran a local half marathon the morning we checked in and was disappointed it wasn't working. Still, lovely deep bath for a soak, although the dial to raise the plug had come away from the bath and so the plug had to be prised with finger nails to empty water. This and a few other minor issues: the door knob fell off the kitchen door, a latch fell off the living room door, the knob was not attached to the heated towel rail, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken, and the remote thermostat was no where to be found so we couldn't adjust the heat and it was a bit chilly in the morning made the cottage feel a little uncared for. On the upside, there was a lovely fire in one of the living rooms, which was lovely on a night time (although the door that leads directly outside from the living room could befit from a drought excluder). There was tea, coffee and sugar provided, but the coffee was instant and a mix of a various left overs and there was no ground coffee for the coffee maker, which was a shame.
Finally, there was a the lack of communication by the owner and property manager. I messaged the owner, with no response. I also contacted the office to ask where the remote thermostat was located (it wasn't in the living room as it stated in the manual) and the office told me Kelly would call me back, but I didn't get a return call.
Overall a lovely cottage in a lovely area and at a reasonable rate, but I am not sure we'd return.

lovely stay
Lovely house and village. Easy to find and park. Only down side was very small ceilings for my 6ft5 husband - but to be expected for a cottage!

Great cottage with loads of character.
Great cottage with first class facilities, a real home from home.
Good location in the characterful and quiet part of the village.

Cottage comfy but unusual layout!
We enjoyed our stay at Bluebell cottage once we got used to going upstairs to the kitchen and ducking through the doorways ! Being 4’11” I had no problem!! It was well furnished and comfortable with tv’s galore. . We found the stairs a bit awkward but I suppose they add to its charm. It’s an excellent base to see roundabout.

Quiet, lovely place
Lovely house in a quiet village setting. Clean, everything provided for with many local amenities and things to do within a quick drive. Hosts were very helpful too. A lovely break. Thanks.

Quirky cottage
My family of 5 had an amazing stay at this quirky cottage. Booking and check in were both easy and pleasant. The cottage itself is lovely and has all amenities you need for your duration. The log burner is a great addition. The kitchen is equipped with everything from microwave to tin opener. Bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable.
The cottage itself is in a great location central to getting to some many interesting landmarks.
We have a perfect getaway and will definitely return.
Thank you so much

Birthday weekend
We had a great stay at the beautiful cottage to celebrate our son's birthday. Lovely village and lots of things to do near by.

delightful cottage in a handy location.
We enjoyed our short stay in this comfortable property. It is really well located for exploring Sherwood Forest and other attractions. We had a very good meal at Bella Vista and a BBQ by the river, supplied by the host with a wonderful trolley to transport everything. Coffee machine was excellent as was the espresso pot so answered everyone's coffee needs! Could have done with a few cleaning products to keep the kitchen tidy and do odd bits of washing up instead of always using the dishwasher. Expect that it would be a very cosy place to stay in the winter.

Beautiful quirky cottage close to Sherwood Pines.
We chose this cottage for it's close proximity to Sherwood Pines (a post GCSE cycling break for my son... we wanted to hit the trails of the forest for some mountain biking fun). Everything in the property was exactly as listed, clean, homely and with all the kitchen essential we needed, but with a number of pubs/restaurants on the doorstep we did eat out a fair bit. The location of the cottage itself is excellent, in the pretty village of Old Ollerton with the picturesque river running near by. Supermarkets (should you need them) are also within close proximity. All in all the cottage was perfect for our purposes and exceeded all expectations.
N.B. Due to the age & quirky nature of this property the stairs are very steep, a few of the doors are also very low. My son (6ft3) and I (5ft 8) are both tall but soon got used to ducking so didn't find this a problem.
